About

Thanks for visiting my blog!

I am David Grayling, a devout atheist and a world citizen, one who has a background as a teacher, journalist and author. In my degree (gained with Distinction), my majors were psychology and economics but I also did courses in sociology, philosophy and English.

I care deeply about those who are suffering at the hands of conscienceless warmongers, psychos, despotic rulers, insatiable money-grubbers and religious charlatans.

I believe that our genetic flaws combined with the typical human mindset, one formed by a combination of bad social programming, mass indoctrination and faulty education, are mankind’s biggest problem. This mindset MUST be changed before man, nature’s most dangerous creation, destroys himself. To do that requires a Socratic examination of all the things we have learned so we can reject everything that is false, that is counterproductive, that causes harm to others and ourselves!

Truth, unless nuclear war intervenes, will set us free and eventually create a world that is peaceful, one that is based on cooperation, sharing, equality and reality.

Like you, I hope I live to see such a world but, given the current chaos everywhere, I’m not holding my breath!

  1. I enjoyed reading your posts, and I feel much the same as to the future direction mankind is headed. The best chance to stop these predators and their conspirators is to get humanity to wake up, and resist. I write articles to try and self-empower people to take their consciousness into their own hands, and out of the hands of the government controlled media’s hands. Anyways, I appreciate your posts.

  2. How very refreshing to see a genuine THINKING set of words about the current “status” of the planet’s inhabitants and the horrors they have wrought. Thank you for an exellent site /blog and such truthful words of wisdom that seem to escape the world leaders.(who’s motives are less than exemplary.

  3. Chief Trident missile engineer Bob Aldridge-www.plrc.org-resigned because the Pentagon aims to achieve disarming first strike capability and it´s suicidal and wrote three books on the topic and recently America in Peril, Hope Publishing.
He wrote to me on the missiles in Bulgaria, Romania and Poland: “Whether they are on ships or land, they are still a necessary component for an unanswerable first strike.” To take out the Russian second strike force, i.e. the missiles surviving First Strike with Minuteman-3 and Trident-2. They have an accuracy of 30 meters or less, enough to destroy a missile silo. The US Navy can track and destroy all enemy submarines simultaneously according to Bob Aldridge. The missiles in the three countries lead to Launch On Warning, probably by 2014 and Nuclear War by mistake because the Pentagon aims to achieve a Disarming First Strike Capability, maybe “only” for Blackmail. A war with Iran has ONE good element: How will the Pentagon then justify the missiles in Bulgaria, Romania and Poland ? A nuclear missile threat from North Korea ? The Russians aren´t idiots. They´ll deploy Launch On Warning – and we´ll commit suicide because of the bloody fools in the Pentagon. MAD is not enough – they go for NUTS-Nuclear Use Target Selection-Nuclear Supremacy-First Strike Capability. That´s the reason GPS-formerly NAVSTAR-was developed – to get a CEP of 30 meters or less for Minuteman-3 and Trident-2. You don´t need that to hit a city. General Harbottle told me: “They are bloody fools in the Pentagon because they think they can make a first strike without nuclear winter attacking missile silos by the design of the warheads on Minuteman-3 and the D5 on Trident-2.” “They are all bloody fools in the Pentagon”, said the good general.

  4. My surgeon in Tuluá, Colombia told me his theory: Very, very long ago (maybe 3 billion years ago) all-out war took place Moon-Mars and the few survivors from both places settled here. A 600-million-years-old metal vase and a 400-million-years-old gold chain among other things-and The Piri Reis Map-have been found, so maybe we blow it all up every now and then and some few thousand survive in the mountains and in 100,000 or a million years everything is forgotten. Too stupid and too crazy. The 12th Iman, Christ and Messiah could well wait some 4 billion years in returning ! All hail to Melchizedek !

  7. Scott and Ken, it seems that when I changed my blog over to a new format, the email notifications didn’t come across. My apologies for that.

My son is the blog technical expert and as soon as he comes home for Xmas, I’ll get him on the job. Hopefully he can fix it! Computers leave me bewildered!

  8. I have been reading your comments on line for serveral months now, but this is the first time that I have visited your site and read your profile.
I think that you are doing very good work and wish you well in it’s endeaver.
I’m just a retired local labor leader with only a high school education, but in my old age I have come to realize that my political instincts are pretty damn good. We see the world the same. You and I share a cynicism that is appropriate for these times. IMHO, people who are not angry about the state of the world now are immoral. Without outrage, injustice is allowed to fester and grow. I am sure that you too have been mocked as “an angry person” ….as if that is a failing.
But, for the first time in many dark years, I am allowing the quickening of hope in my heart when I see the world wide movement of young people and workers taking to the streets. It is a start. I may not see it’s end, but I want to remain hopeful in my final years that there is a better world coming for, if not our children, our grandchildren.
Be well, David. Keep up the good work.

  9. HI David,
I feel exactly the same way you do about people that need our help and support. Especially those ravaged in war torn countries by a handful of bloodthristy zionists that are trying to dominate the world. Its so distressing to know that people are commiting senseless crimes against humanity but cannot do anything to defend themselves at die humiliating deaths. I as an american, cannot and will not allow that to happen. But what are we do too? I am a college student, and do not know where to start?

  10. Well, the OWS movement is a good starting point, Jasreen. It’s the only movement in the U.S. that seems to be addressing the problems that the leadership of the U.S. are causing for your nation and the world.

Please read the charter of the PEACE movement. It might point you in the right direction.

    TAKE CARE!

  11. All of the problems that beset us grow from coercion, which is the essence of harm: doing to others against their will. This includes fraud, theft, property damage, murder, extortion, blackmail, and all other harmful acts with identifiable injured parties. These acts are all aided by, and some strictly dependent on, secrecy.

The development of the full psychic potential of humans in bulk would end the secrecy that supports the evils we suffer from. It would render the evildoers and their helpers social pariahs, even among their families, and the coercive practices that seem to be all the rage in the business “community” would go rapidly out of style.

Certain entities have a vested interest in preventing this, as evidenced by the continued use of fluoride in public water supplies. It is said to encrust the pineal gland, limiting psychic ability, as well as cause cancer, but has only adverse effects on teeth and skeletal structure when taken internally. Gurdieff alluded to the insertion of “the organ kundabuffer” at some time in the distant past, which served to limit human potential.

We could get an easy deliverance if somehow everyone’s pineal gland started ejaculating more appropriate levels of DMT (dimethyltriptamine, the powerful hallucinogen present in ayahuasca). Picture the control freaks demanding to be obeyed while their world appears to be melting all around them, with everyone else just laughing at them. Just a little happy thought for some holiday cheer.

Government is a collective hallucination that gets all its power from the credibility people give it. Research has shown that the government in the US has no lawful standing whatever, and hasn’t since prior to the constitution; it’s strictly de facto, ruling by “necessity” under military codes, and in fact, now, is an offshore corporation without even the flimsiest documentation of its jurisdiction over the states. Waking up to reality is an ongoing process that probably never ends, but these ancient problems we suffer from seem a bit old. When we all see the aura it will.

  12. Thanks for you interesting comment, Bobo. It never ceases to amaze me just how passive most humans are. To label them ‘Sheeple’ is not too far from the truth.

Unfortunately, many of those that can ‘think’ usually spend their lives gathering wealth and/or killing other people.

I beg to differ a bit on this comment. IF one is so focussed on getting rich / gaining wealth……one is NOT really THINKING about the whole picture……let alone analysing it. Those that are killing people for a living, do not THINK……..they just follow orders in a conditioned way that does not allow any introspection or analysis into what they are doing, why they are doing it etc. For that matter , THINKING in the latter group is highly discouraged. as it goes against the brainwashing/ conditioning process they have been subjected to.

  14. Good points, QBV11. Often, killing other people ties in with getting rich. Those who run the oil companies gain financial advantage from Government sponsored terrorism and invasions.

Things are generally interrelated. The scum feed off each other!

  15. How interesting that even though you claim to sympathize with humanity you claim in even greater tone your atheistic mindset! Surely it is the immoral and irreligious (non-European or western understanding of religion that is) that is responsible for the current quandary of destruction and pillage! If you were to state that you did not follow the capitalist god, I could understand! For the religion of capitalism is the dominant global ideology and any other form of resistance or protest against it is a mere reaction against its totalitarianism! So even though you discard religion as a whole you forget that this modern day religious manifestations are a mere reflection of a capitalist global society! True faith and religion is endowed with spirituality, ethics and morals! Yes peoples of faith have fought and continue to fight in the name of their ideology but in truth it is only the expansionist desires of Capitalism that seeks to control, subjugate and force the conversion of the masses into its own image! The 20 and now 21st centuries are the bloodiest centuries known to man.. coincidentally it is also an era whereby the dominant western powers abandoned their faith in God (in deed and action) and look at the results! Also you claim a Socratic method! That is a massive contradiction and fraud! Socrates was put to death by the state because he rejected the pagan, polytheistic ideology of his time! He refused to join the mainstream political system and he prophesied the eventual downfall of man due to his atheistic and polytheistic ideologies! You are an intellectual and yet you engage in such ignorant discussion! Its not becoming of your capability! I am not here to fight or argue with you but to ask you to please reflect back upon your position and study Socrates the man and his life and not to desecrate his death as the west is wont to do through a convoluted chicanery of his thoughts and teachings!
