Friends, according to Reuters this morning, Israel is in lock-down prior to launching an attack on Iran.

The deranged Jewish State, with an arsenal of 200 nukes, has allowed their fears and superstitions about Iran to unhinge them and they are seriously contemplating actions that will inevitably pull the world into a nuclear conflict.

Part of the Jewish derangement is to precipitate an action that will involve retaliation by Iran which will then bring the U.S. scurrying to help the deranged, paranoid nation of Israel. Thus, two deranged nations will attack Iran along with other warmongering nations like Britain and France. The Muslim nations will be incensed by this action and…

Of course, Israel should never have been created in the first place. The world allowed the horror of the Holocaust to sweep away reason and commonsense. What else was seizing land belonging to the Palestinians in a Muslim region and giving it to group of fanatical Jews who believe they are The Children Of God going to achieve except to create a running sore, one filled with hatred and resentment?

Of course, the brutality and evil of the Jewish State since 1948 and the support it has received from the warmongering U.S. has not helped the situation one bit. Together they have broken every rule in the book and proved that they are poor colonizers who use the point of a sword to enforce their domination.

And now we have what could well be the final chapter in a march towards extinction for the human race, a march caused by a few million Jewish fanatics and 300 million American fanatics who believe in nonsense like the Rapture and think that Jews are somehow part of the Christian story. Talk about the blind leading the blind!

So what does the world do now as this catastrophe plays out in the Middle East? How can the more sane nations of the world allow nuclear war to begin while knowing full well how it will end? Why are we ‘intelligent’ humans allowing the fraud that religion is to have full reign in international decisions? Why are nations of the world allowing Israel to call the shots, to make selfish, inhumane decisions which impinge upon the sovereignty of others?

The U.S. and its ugly child, Israel, must be stopped in their tracks. The 94% of people who make up the rest of the world have to stand up to them, have to stop their madness, their imperalism, their warmongering, their evil!!!!!!

Ring your Government today. Protest before it’s too late!

I was going to write posts about: Gay marriage, the Greek Crisis, the Nakbah Protests, the Presidential Elections, the starving people in America, the pathetic record of the Australian Prime Minister, the secret agendas of certain media organizations, American torture, Climate warming, etc, etc.

Then I thought: why bother? There are thousands of issues which can be written about and are written about. The world is awash in stories and opinions and I know that what I say means little or nothing in the overall scheme of things.

So I thought I’d present you with three images that hopefully will say something meaningful to you, lift you a little, lighten the load on your shoulders somewhat as you struggle with life.

May Peace hold you in its wings today!

Well, Mitt Romney has come out and said that gay marriage cannot be supported. He is chasing the evangelical vote.

According to Reuters, at the Christian Liberty University, Romney went right at the latest hot-button issue, bringing much of the audience to its feet in cheers by declaring: “Marriage is a relationship between one man and one woman.”

Many students and parents said that while they are wary of Romney’s religion, they would rather he occupy the White House than President Barack Obama who announced his support for same-sex marriage this week.

As previously reported in my last post, Obama says he is personally supportive of the gay agenda and must believe that that position will bring him more votes than he will lose via punishment from the ‘Christian’ folk for his views. Whether he is correct or not remains to be seen.

So it seems that Americans are to be divided by a deeply felt and conflicting social issue overlaid with conflicting political issues, racial issues and religious issues. It will be interesting to see how it pans out. Will the depth of feeling lead to blood in the streets? Possibly.

Of course, both contenders are politicians and they will choose the weasel words that give them the best chance of grabbing votes from either side of what could prove to be a very wide aisle. That is the nature of politics.

They will say different things to different audiences. They will say things that can be taken in different ways. They will try to walk on both sides of the street. But the issues are fairly stark and do not lend themselves to sitting on the fence.

The battle lines are drawn. Perhaps a bigger battle is coming than most people expect. Perhaps America might be split in two again, like a re-run of the Civil War?

Romney versus Obama, the political, racial, religious, social ‘Rumble in the Jungle’. It might prove to be an event where there are no winners, only a Pyrrhic Victory!

Friends, you would be aware that, across the Western World, much debate is taking place about marriage and what it should mean.

Traditionally, in the West, it has meant the formalizing of a relationship between a man and a women. In most cases, it leads to the creation of a family which looks after the children that are born into that family. That is how nature intended things to be.

The Gay Community is now claiming the right to be married and to have or adopt children. This has thrown a spanner into the social fabric of Western society and there is vigorous debate between the proponents of gay marriage and those who want marriage to remain in its traditional form.

Obama has entered the fray. He obviously thinks that he is not only Commander in Chief of the World but now he feels that, like the Pope, he can also tell us how we should conduct our relationships.

Obviously, he is taking a gamble on getting more votes from being gay friendly than he would by maintaining the view that marriage should be exclusively between a man and a woman. Given the state of play in the U.S. (and in many other countries in the world), this could be a huge miscalculation.

The issue of gay marriage is a vexed one and many people, fearing condemnation from gay people and their enthusiastic supporters, tend to seem to go along with the flow but, if there was a referendum, would probably vote against gay marriage but probably would approve of gay unions.

But this post is about Obama’s new position and what it says about him. He is obviously an opportunist because he himself is married to a woman and has a traditional family which speaks volumes. How can he truly support relationships which are entirely different to his own?

Call me cynical if you will but I see his change of heart as a vote-buying exercise, one that could well backfire!

The Singapore government has discussed hosting up to four such U.S. “Littoral Combat Ships,” or LCS, on a rotational basis at its naval facilities. They are designed for modular, “plug-and-fight” missions for mine-clearing, anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare. What armaments they have is not yet revealed.

There are two different LCS designs. One, including the Freedom shown above, was developed by an industry team led by Lockheed Martin Corp. The other is built by a team led by General Dynamics Corp. The Navy wants to buy as many as 55 such ships. Twelve have been funded so far, six of each type.

Now, I don’t know about you but I thought the Yanks were cold, stony broke and were struggling economically. But obviously not Lockheed Martin Corp or General Dynamics Corp  or the Pentagon! No, the armament manufacturers and the military continue to add to their fleet of warships such that, at the current rate, surely, soon there won’t be room in the world’s oceans for all of them and collisions will be commonplace.

Of course, what China is going to make of this move is predictable. The U.S. talks about peace while it prepares for war. Not just any old war but a World War. A nuclear world war in fact.

There is one redeeming factor. The ship is being plagued by hull cracks and engine faults (sounds like our Australian-built submarines).

This combined with the slowness of America in completing the F-35, the next generation stealth fighter, may slow the American footprint in the South Pacific. The US is planning to buy more than 2,000 F-35s (see below) and Australia 100.

America is driving the world towards a war that will end all wars and cause human extinction.

It’s paranoia is infinite. Its belief that war solves problems is deranged. It is led by psychos who can’t wait to get their dirty, grasping fingers on the ‘red’ button!

America is the enemy of the world. It should be treated as such!

It is there even when we can’t see it, our constant companion.

It lights our times of peace, of love, of desire.

And the lies, inequality, wars and death.

IF THE MOON COULD SPEAK, WHAT WOULD IT SAY?

Austerity has come to Australia, friends. Yes, until a few weeks ago, Australia was top of the world as the nation that had low inflation, low unemployment and low debt. Praise was heaped upon our Government by the IMF and the World Bank.

In a matter of weeks, we have joined nations like Greece, Spain, France and Portugal as economic basket-cases. How did it happen, you ask? Damned if I know! But Swan, our Socialist Treasurer, is bringing down a budget tonight that will seriously affect the lower and middle classes.

But one thing is obvious. As the world reverberates to the word ‘AUSTERITY’ you can be sure that one group will not feel the cold winds of austerity: the rich, the ones whose greed created the GFC.

No friends, the rich will continue on with their luxurious lifestyles! They will enjoy their mansions, their motor yachts, their million dollars vehicles, their parties and their designer clothes. They will also feel especially good about the poor suffering the lash of unemployment, the reduction in workers’ wages and conditions, the extension of the retirement age, the cutting of the health system and pensions.

“Serves the lazy buggars right,’ they’ll say in a polished accent. “They’ve had it too good for too long! A bit of privation will do them good, teach them a bloody good lesson, keep them in their place!”

Of course, in a few European nations, the poor are revolting. They have changed the Government structure in France and Greece and engaged in riots. It is hard to know just where the revolt will lead but it’s certainly not going to go away.

There is real concern in Europe about the actions of the non-rich and some of their intentions. It seems that the peasants think that the word ‘AUSTERITY’ is a con-job conjured up by the rich nations, one designed to bleed them even further.

What will happen next is the Government will bring in the stormtroopers and try to crush the rebellion. But as ‘austerity’ bites harder and harder, the people will find their voice and they will become more roused and adopt more extreme measures.

The truth is that the greed-motivated capitalist, free-market system is finished but the rich, who profited so greatly from it, don’t want to give it a decent burial.

It’s time to move in another direction. We need to relieve the rich of their ill-gotten wealth and share it among the world’s people. We need to set up a new economic system based on equality, on sharing and caring, on peace and harmony.

We need a new dawn! We need to start again!

In the U.S. and the Eurozone, financially, things are going from bad to worse according to Reuters today. Although both regions are trying desperately to talk up the situation, gild the lily so to speak, there is fear, there is stress.

It’s ironic in a way that a seriously corrupt system, one that has created so many mufti-millionaires and billionaires, is teetering on oblivion. All over the world, there must be people in luxury beds and mansions who can’t sleep at night wondering if their privilege and financial advantage is going to suddenly disappear under an avalanche of share market and real estate collapses, and mob rule.

I guess the Buddhist philosophy of making do with very little and expecting catastrophes to come along allows its devotees to survive whatever life throws at them. Those with little have little to lose. Most of the world’s people have little. Some have nothing!

But what about those who have screwed many in the pursuit of their fortunes? How will they cope with standing in a soup queue with ragged folk wearing torn clothes and shoes with split sides?

And those who retreat behind the walls of their mansions while hungry mobs howl and rage outside and call for their blood, imagine the fear they will feel as the mobs breach the fences and walls and they hear the sound of glass breaking and heavy doors splintering.

Payback time is getting closer. The rich have had their way for far too long. They were always too greedy. They saw only buckets of gold, not the hopeless faces of those who they exploited, who they starved.

They saw only gold watches and exotic sports cars and dining in fancy restaurants where the cost of a meal would keep a hundred peasants fed for a month.

A hungry mob suddenly awakened is a dangerous beast. It is not led by reason. It is driven by revenge.

The greedy rich have thumbed their noses at the poor for too long. They will pay a heavy price as Royalty did long ago in France.

When it’s all over, perhaps the world might become a place where equality reigns. It will for a time, then a new breed of manipulators and carpetbaggers will arise and the whole sorry system will repeat itself.

Humans never learn! Perhaps, when the nukes start falling, they may pay more attention.

Blind Chinese dissident and artist Chen Guangcheng (shown above) left his home incarceration and, by means miraculous, ended up in the American Embassy in Beijing. His latest movements were to go to hospital accompanied by the American Ambassador.

This is the latest move in the chess game that the U.S. is playing with China, a game calculated to maintain or increase American psychological domination of China.

That America thinks it can dominate China either now or in the future demonstrates just how stupid America is. China is not a Middle Eastern Country run by an Islamic cleric or an easily-manipulated Saudi King. With more than a billion people, China is a civilization that has been in existence for thousands and thousands of years, not a mere couple of centuries which is all American can claim.

China has culture and wisdom where all America can claim is brashness and gross immaturity. America acts first then, as the smoke clears, it tries to assess whether it has gone forward or backwards. China carefully assesses its options, weighs them up, then, with cleverness, decides and moves slowly, constantly reassessing.

That American is interfering in China’s internal affairs is risky and stupid given that China owns most of America!

The other bit of American baiting in the region has to do with the Philippines. Paul Craig Roberts  tells us that:

- “Washington has pressured the Philippines, whose government it owns, into conducting joint military exercises in the South China Sea. Washington’s excuse is that China has territorial disputes with the Philippines, Indonesia, and other countries concerning island and sea rights in the South China Sea. Washington asserts that China’s territorial disputes with the like of Indonesia and the Philippines are a matter of United States’ national interests.” Of course, U.S. national interests seem to extend across the whole world.

He goes on to say that:

- “Soon whatever little remains of the US living standard will be sacrificed to Washington’s confrontation with China, along with the seizure of our pensions and personal savings in order to deter “the China threat.”

It is his concluding paragraph that is the cruncher. He says:

- “If only Americans were an intelligent people. Then they might have some prospect of holding on to their incomes, remaining wealth, and liberty. Unfortunately, Americans are so thoroughly plugged into the Matrix that they present as a doomed people, incapable of thought, reason, or ability to comprehend the facts that the rest of the world sees clearly.”

Paul Craig Roberts opines that it won’t come to a nuclear confrontation. I strongly disagree. America showed in Cuba that it is prepared to risk nuclear war.

Like Israel, it believes that ‘Might is Right’ and  ‘God is on its Side’ and the ‘Ends always justify the Means.’ The world is full of fools, isn’t it?

My advice: Kiss your children each night!

I’m ‘GOTCHA’s son!

Friends, British Lawmakers, after their enquiry, said that: “News International and its parent News Corporation exhibited willful blindness, for which the companies’ directors – including Rupert Murdoch and James Murdoch – should ultimately take responsibility.”.

“We conclude, therefore, that Rupert Murdoch is not a fit person to exercise the stewardship of a major international company.”

Well, they didn’t mince words, did they? They said what many informed persons around the world have been saying for a long, long time. The GOTCHA man and his incompetent son (who signs large checks without knowing what they are for) have, for years, been building a Capitalism-loving, Tory-promoting, Wall Street-advancing, War-promoting  media empire with the help of some very compliant Governments. They have grabbed and swallowed up many media outlets across the world crying “Gotcha” as they did so.

They have also been engaged in criminal activities via phone-hacking and bribing to say nothing about exerting their influence over Governments who they thought could advance their business interests even though Rupert claimed that his business interests were kept entirely separate from his editorial policies, a lie of incredible magnitude.

It’s instructive to think about the actions of the Murdochs as they were driven by the ‘Never-Enough’ motive. No amount of money and power ever satisfied them, especially Rupert. Their insatiable greed has brought them undone, revealed to the world just how money and power corrupts.

Of course, their shareholders won’t care one bit about their transgressions. All they care about is the share price and whether it will go up or not. This is a weakness in our capitalist economic system, the divorcing of the owners of a company from those who run it. If you’re getting dividends, then you’re on the payroll!

Shareholders should be made liable for the company and all its shortcomings. That would change the way the world runs very quickly and get rid of Murdoch types and the damage they cause to democracy and the planet.
