Did the Government put on this fireworks for me. No, they didn’t! They don’t like me much! Few Governments do!
Folks, I just noticed that I have written exactly 1,000 articles (posts) since D.C. began in what seems a hundred years ago. I thought it was worth mentioning to the longer-term members of this forum and may even be of interest to the newer ones.
The time has gone so quickly and my blood pressure has gone up and down a million times as I dealt with some of the prickly issues confronting our world and some of the prickly people who have visited during that time.
Has it aged me? Yes it has but it has given me a sense of purpose and kept my brain active. Have I achieved much? Probably not but then I can never really know.
Will I write another 1,000 articles? Perhaps. Probably. Who knows. It’s in the hands of Mossad or Obama’s assassination squads!
There is one possible hope to halt the madness. One that I cling onto.

Keep on keeping on, David. Congratulations too! We can’t live looking over our shoulders, maybe we get wiser with age. Thanks for taking the risk. Risk is a big part of the Capitalist system we live in so you are not going to get criticised for that. That is why a safety net is so important in this kind of system with no guarantees. Thanks for being an innovator and a part of the thinking life.

Hullo David: I believe you are from “DOWN UNDER” ?? Well, if I am right about that then being from DOWN UNDER” is in our day and age the best option to have the best view of what is happening in the world:
One needs to have the ability to look at the problems of this world we live in: AFTER HAVING TAKEN DISTANCE OF THE PROBLEM, (and this is more possible for us living in Australia or New Zealand) one needs historical insight and good judgement as well.
In my case knowledge of what often the result is of this yearning after a dominance :war, imprisonment , loss of material comforts etc. etc, leads to better insight and understanding .”

Congratulations on reaching the 1000 David. It is quite an acheivement because many bloggers don’t get half as far before giving up. The majority of bloggers i knew when i started have fallen by the wayside so those of us who are in the 1000 club are a rare breed. Well done.

Thanks for the kind comments. Of course, Seeking Utopia, my previous blog, began in July 2005 and that has a lot of articles on it too.
One day I’ll check it out and add them all up. It could explain why I get tired sometimes!
P.S. I just checked quickly. Seeking Utopia started in Jan. 2005 and Dangerous Creation began in July 2008.
P.P.S. 1686 is the total number of articles I’ve published since Jan. 2005. I would’ve thought I would’ve got writer’s block by now. Many people wish I would!

Dear David; congratulation on your achievement of 1000 posts. The thinkers posts.
I have my desperate moments because history repeats itself over and over and over…. Liers, lies, hypocrisy. The criminal, political leaders, confront us with the perplexity of radical evil and rottenness to the core, and the people accept it, sleep with open eyes, it was always like this….T♥
