Friends, it seems that Rudd, our Foreign Minister, has joined the conga line of suckholes who are applying oil and other sanctions to Iran.
Now, you may well ask why is Australia applying sanctions to a small Muslim nation on the other side of the world? The answer is simple. It’s because NATO-U.S. said so. And when NATO-U.S. say jump, we, or at least our politicians, ask: ‘How High, oh Great Ones?’
It seems that we don’t take much in the way of trade with Iran but Iran has stopped trading with us which has had a measurable effect on our exports. Wise move, eh? Smart, eh?
And why are we joining in the sanctions? To show our support for Israel, a brutal, rogue nation which our incompetent Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, thinks is wonderful and to show our unquestioning approval for NATO-U.S., a conglomeration of the world’s principal warmongers and plunderers.
Yes, we have joined the ranks of the Forty Thieves who are trying to manipulate the world so it better fits the demands of corporations, right-wing politicians, oligarchs, religious fanatics, the wealthy elite, etc.
Here is our Foreign Minister, Kevin Rudd, in Britain having a cozy little chat with his counterpart William Hague who leads a country that is always ready to get involved in war anywhere and at anytime. His warships, as we speak, are entering the region around Iran with murderous intent. It could be said that Britain is America’s shadow, so closely does it mimic the actions of the imperial barbarians who inhabit the U.S.
Our Defense Minister, Stephen Smith went with Rudd and met with his British counterpart whose name escapes me so important is he. No doubt, over drinkies, the four of them talked about manly things like war, and war, and war and how the peasants were revolting and how a few nukes would quickly sort them out, Tally ho, pass the brandy, and all that!
So while we worry and fret over the possibility of a nuclear war, these and comparable, deranged suited individuals are arranging the world for us, even contemplating taking us into nuclear war which is the ultimate madness!
Israel, driven by insane religious fantasies, could, with its 200 nukes, pretty well demolish our world by itself. Yet it is Iran, nuke-less, which we have to fear according to our masters. I smell a rat!
Friends, the people running the world shouldn’t be. In fact, they should be stripped of their power and wealth immediately before they do anymore damage to our planet or start WW3.
We, the people, can bring them down. In Australia, we need to bring down the LABOR PARTY and the LIBERAL PARTY and form new parties which actually represent our needs and demands. The incumbent parties are nothing more than tools of the U.S. and Big Business.

Titania, your excellent comment obviously came in while I was writing a response to 76-water. Australia has not been well-served by its politicians, I’m afraid. When Britain or the U.S. clap their hands, Aussies come running. Australia blood has been left everywhere.
What worries me is that there is no sign that this sycophancy will ever stop. We, unlike New Zealand, seem incapable of losing our grovelling colonial heritage.
And that our nation serves the satanic interests of the U.S. for me is the last straw!

Its most distressing to see the war drums beating again now for Iran as was done for Iraq and its ficticious WMD’s (nuclear, chemical and biological).
Notice the same arguments being conjured up again, but I wonder if the public will really believe it again?.
With Australia day looming, I don’t have any interest in bothering with this absurd false ‘celebration’ as I know my country isn’t really free or independent,subservient as it is to the cult of Americanism, while the masses follow the compradores in the establishment in the pretence we’re still masters of our own destiny and have a culture to celebrate.
Walk through any suburb around the country and count the number of fools going around in American style dress (including hoodies in 30 + deg heat!!!!), cars going past blaring that grating American rap ‘music’ and the number of American corporations here selling ‘food’ and everything else besides, then ask yourself whether we’re really a sovereign nation and culture or just deluding ourselves.
I think clearly the latter.
Have you ever noticed the number of Americans now over here in positions of power, running our museums, businesses, universities etc.
Why are they here, indeed why do we allow them to gain these positions of power over us?.
Today I telephoned ABC Newsradio during lunch from my work as I was fed up with hearing the ins and outs of the U.S political ‘race’ where every minor titbit is magnified and breathlessly reported by the ABC and their twit mates at the ‘U.S propaganda centre ‘in Sydney Uni.
I spoke to some bird on the phone voicing my criticism of this American politics being shoved down our throats but few in Australia are interested, where I was then sneered at by this arrogant ABC Newsradio bird that this is of great interest and lots of Australians are interested in this as we should be as the USA is important to Australia!.
I disagreed and took exception to her sneering and left it there.
Again I was reminded of the great disparity between the Australian public (me ) and these media ‘gatekeepers’, always eager to please the powerful and uncritically act as a conduit for U.S propaganda with their own vested interests involved.
I’m glad Leigh sales on the ABC is off having her baby as she’s one of the worst, pro U.S bias and one of those that frequent the ‘Australia-U.S leadership dialogue’, where secret talks occur not made public but where they take their orders and then proceed to influence the public here .
No wonder the media is despised here and untrusted.
Join me in boycotting Australia day and just have a day off, I think I’ll just do some brushcutting in my back garden………

Alex, how do voters fight back when the politicians ignore us and follow the party line! We need a revolution in this country and the setting up of a true democracy not some imitation of the farce that the Yanks call ‘democracy’.
Mr Cat, the Australian public believe anything they are told by their politicians and the MSM. They, in the main, are as gullible and ignorant as their American counterparts.
Tomorrow should be called Australia-America Day. Perhaps after the Yanks instal their military base in Darwin, it will soon be shortened to Aus-America Day.

One wonders why the world isn’t clamoring for inspections of Dimona, Israel where that little terrorist nation has developed at least 100 Nuclear bombs completely out of the sight of and accountability to, the world.
