Will this be the scene across America? Will invasion and occupation RESTORE America?

There is no doubt that the U.S., when it finally entered WW2 (after waiting for nearly two years while it sat on its hands), by the end of the war had great credibility in the eyes of the world. The feeling in the West was that it had saved the world from tyranny.

Immediately, as if hubris had scrambled its brains, it entered into a competition with Russia and an arms race ensued. It was an arms race that America won although questions remain about whether its moon landing was a product of Hollywood rather than a real accomplishment. Keep in mind that American astronauts now go to the Space Station in Russian rockets!

Once Russia was neutralized, then America, seizing the moment, decided, unilaterally, it was the contender for the most powerful nation on Earth award and it began to spend huge amounts of money on its armed forces, money some of which had to be borrowed.

It also nurtured the idea that it was an exceptional nation, the greatest nation in the history of the world in fact, that it was a Beacon on a Hill, that it was born to lead (rule) the world, all fantasy stuff.

FIrst Korea saw the start of American imperialism, then Vietnam and Cambodia, then…if you Google ‘America’s wars’, you can refresh your mind about American warmongering ever since it became a nation, one steeped in oceans of blood.

Since 2,000 and 9/11, we have seen Iraq (oil) and Afghanistan (access to scarce resources) on the world radar as well as Abu Graib. We have also seen America lose the admiration that many nations felt towards it. Why? The reasons are many:

In many parts of the world, this is the reality for many people.

In other places, this is reality!

Friends, humans are capable of many things: some of them good and noble; some of them incredibly brutal and evil.

If you are in the military, spend some times thinking about what you do. Ask yourself, “Is killing other people all I was born to do with my life? Have I been conned? Am I being used as a pawn by the rich and powerful? Is killing people slowly killing me?”

What I really hope is that, wherever you are, your reality is represented by the lower image. I hope that you have good health, a nice family, a circle of close friends.

But most of all, I hope that you have many moments of peace each day, that you stop to smell a flower or help a struggling insect to escape a spider web, that you bring a smile to the face of a crying child or help a neighbor bring in the washing or the groceries.

I hope you will give a couple of dollars to a homeless man or invite him to have a cup of coffee with you. Perhaps you have a spare room that a woman who is living in a car with her kids could stay in for a few days or weeks to help her to get back on her feet?

These are the things a better world will be built on.

Killing is for savages!

Friends, did you realize that we earthlings are living through a bitter War between Worlds?

No, I don’t mean that Aliens have come from Outer Space and are starting to take us over. What I mean is that there are different Worlds which exists here on Earth which are engaged in a take-no-prisoners fight to the death.  This is happening as you go about your daily business wondering about how you will pay the bills.

Some of these worlds are easy to recognize but some are not. In fact, some of them are secretive. All of them are powerful. What are these ‘Worlds’ you ask? What have they got to do with me?

They have a great deal to do with you. Let me list the main ones for you and then I’ll explain:

1. The War between the Worlds of Competing Religions.

2. The War between the Worlds of Competing Corporations.

3. The War between the Worlds of Competing Political Systems.

4. The War between the Worlds of the Ultra-Rich.

5. The War between the Worlds of Competing Nations.

Friends, all these worlds are fighting to gain the ascendancy, to be dominant, to control the Earth and its people for their exclusive benefit. When they are not fighting, sometimes they enter into little ‘arrangements’ which bring short or long-term mutual advantage, you know, a wink and a nudge. Taking them in numerical  order:

1.The War Between Competing Religions. As made clear in the previous post, religions are locked into a battle for hearts and minds which has been going for millenniums. The disparate Rulers of the Religious World seek to make their religion the pre-eminent one.

At this point in the world’s history there is no clear winner. Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, they all want converts and money to fund their fraudulent activities What is clear however, and encouraging, is that many humans are turning away from religious belief and living their lives based on reality.

The Rulers of Religion pull a lot of strings in high places and the Princes of other Worlds often use religious language and precepts to bolster their own selfish ambitions. For example, the Israelis and the Americans fully embrace the idea that God, exclusively, is on their side as if this gives the war crimes they both constantly carry out some moral legitimacy. They both claim to be the Children of God (although the Americans don’t broadcast it – they just think it!).

2. The War between Competing Corporations. Since the Industrial Revolution and the unfortunate emergence of capitalism, corporations have sprung into being. Initially, they were just single businesses that grew and grew. Eventually, some of them expanded from town to town, then State to State. Then, never satisfied, they began to operate in foreign countries.

Whether they were engaged in mining, oil exploration, manufacturing or retail, many of them grew very rich and powerful and they began to influence Governments and Government policies via their political donations and ‘undisclosed gifts’ given to political leaders.

Corporations believe exclusively in capitalism and free markets as the best way to regulate the affairs of men (and enrich themselves). Given that 1% of the world’s people have 99% of the world’s wealth, it would seem to me rather a dubious proposition.

The situation today is that many Corporations are feared by Governments. For example, the Murdoch Media Empire has enormous power over the minds of those who read its  pro-capitalism, pro-greed newspapers and watch its farcical ‘Fair and Balanced’ television shows. It can and does influence the outcome of elections!

American ‘Children of God’ working themselves into a rapturous state!

Friends, long, long ago, primitive humans were at a loss to explain why they existed, why the world was here, what the tiny lights in the sky were, etc, etc.

Looking for answers, some smart (or was it cunning) person came up with the idea that someone or something called ‘GOD’ had created them and everything else. Once this concept received the approval of primitive man, the embellishments came thick and fast.

Gods appeared everywhere. The Ancient Greeks invented a whole collection of them who had God-like and Human-like foibles. The Egyptians worshiped the Sun-God but had hundreds of others in their religious pantheon. The Romans had their own collection but later, they converted to Christianity. The Jews, an ancient people though small in number, held to the Old Testament, Christians mainly to the New. The Scandinavian countries worshiped Thor, the Indians from India had huge numbers of Hindu Gods and believed in reincarnation, while the Buddhists had no God but initially followed the philosophical teachings of the Buddha.

Down through the Ages, the clerics were ever busy, inventing, imagining, ever adding to the concept of GOD and pretending to divine what their mythical GOD wants and expects.  The horror of the Spanish Inquisition was one manifestation of this divining!

The truth, friends, is that GOD is a human creation.

There is no evidence that any God exists. None. Religion, no matter which one it is, relies completely upon gullible people BELIEVING what they are told and, because of their understandable fear of death being the end of their lives, hoping that life after death is true. This is wishful thinking at its best!

Resultantly, religion is a powerful force in the world. Unfortunately, it is also a very divisive force because each religion fights to gain converts, tries to gain wealth to build religious edifices like mosques, churches, cathedrals and even palaces which keep the clerics in the lifestyle to which they have become accustomed.

American  Children of God prepare for battle!

Friends, I have decided that the term ‘God’s Children’ does not just apply to the Jews, but also to Americans.

We are all familiar with the claims of the ‘Jews’ that they are favored by God, that all other humans are sub-human, merely Gentiles or lowlife. We are all familiar with the bizarre sight of Jewish religious fanatics in their black hats, black coats, and their Xmas beards. Groups of them watched while the IDF bombed Gaza and muttered approvingly.

We are also familiar with the IDF beating up on Palestinians, running them down with bulldozers and tanks, shooting their children, humiliating them, starving them, etc.

However, it’s clear to me that since Iraq the Jews have had to move over. God clearly has now approved of the Americans as his children as well, as least in the eyes of many Americans.

Whether this means a demotion to Jews or a promotion to Americans or not is not clear because God moves in mysterious ways and those who displease Him are likely to be whale-swallowed or become pillars of salt. To my knowledge, I’ve heard of no one in this predicament, but with the whale-slaughter in the Antarctic who know what could happen? If you hear of anyone, please let me know.

Now the Americans have been doing their best to be recognized as God’s Children for quite some time. They are sick of being second-best in God’s eyes.

Well, with some subdued celebrations, America claimed victory in Iraq and departed while, to the north, flickering violence highlighted ethnic and sectarian strains threatening the country.

To claim victory is a spurious claim. It is a Pyrrhic victory at best (a Pyrrhic victory is when you win the battle but the cost to yourself is so high it makes the whole thing laughable).

The war cost Americans one TRILLION dollars. It cost 4.5 thousand American lives. 30,000 American soldiers were seriously injured.

It cost hundreds of thousands of Iraqi lives (but, of course, to Americans, those deaths don’t count). The number of Iraqis injured, raped, and tortured is unknown.

Friends, I am shocked that Canada has withdrawn from the Kyoto Protocol. It could be the beginning of a landslide of backsliders!

Of course, Canada is a country rich in minerals and oil. The dropping of fossil fuels, as in Australia, will affect its export dollars. But don’t these people realize that Global Warming, if it continues at its current rate, or even at an increased rate, could make Earth uninhabitable?

Once upon a time, vagabonds, carpetbaggers, liars, lechers, bigamists, crooked lawyers, and conmen were put in the stocks where people threw rotten eggs and vegetables at them.

In 2011, we elect them to Parliament. Funny how times change, isn’t it?

Once upon a time, the people introduced Royal Parasites to Madame Guillotine. As the blade rose and dropped, the country was purged, cleansed.

Alas, a Monied Royalty has taken their place in 2011. They are just as corrupt, just as immoral as the French Royalty but, to date, there is no guillotine or the will to remove these lowlife from their mansions and find them guilty of excessive greed and massive exploitation of the masses.

Is our world evolving forward or backwards?
