Friends, it’s that time of the year again when I must put on my turban and peer desperately into my crystal ball hoping to catch a glimpse of what next year might hold for you and I. It is with fear that I do this.
But this year I am prepared to guarantee that my predictions will come to pass. Yes, you read it correctly! That clearly puts me ahead of Nostradamus. Let me see now, mmmm:
1. Humans, collectively, will become even more greedy and brain-dead.
2. Americans will elect a dickhead as their President.
3. Workers across the world will continue to lose more wages and conditions so that banks and billionaires can be bailed out.
4. The ultra-rich will increase their ill-gotten wealth helped by Conservative Governments.
5. Fossil fuels, thanks to the Corporate Lobby, will continue to be used despite the reality of global warming.
6. The U.S., led by Israel, will attack Iran using low-yield nukes.
7. More children than ever will be assaulted by sick clerics who believe in demonstrating to them what the ‘sins of the flesh’ really mean. When discovered, they will continue to be moved on.
8. More lies will be told by Western Governments and their ‘propaganda agencies’ (the media) than ever before. Truth will cease to exist. ‘Truth is bad for your health,’ will become the catch-cry of Governments and Religious Institutions.
9. The U.S., the world’s major ‘Hegemon’, will continue to build up its military via borrowing money it can’t repay, set up more bases, deploy more drones, harass China even more, throw its weight around senselessly, sell even more armaments, create more friction and hatred, give Israel more weapons, and continue to promote the laughable, self-created myths that it is ‘exceptional, born to rule, the greatest nation in the history of the world’ etc.
10. The world will move further away from any possibility of world peace unless the people rise up against the Predators and the Parasites who currently occupy all the important positions of power and influence and wealth. While there is some rebellion occurring, for it to succeed, it needs a massive injection of real anger and determination. This may happen if the world falls into depression and millions are starving, a real prospect!
Well, there, I’m done. This prophesying certainly wears one out. I need a cup of coffee to try to get the sick feeling out of my stomach!

Regarding No.6, that will mark the beginning of WW3. It could well have a quick end and the reign of the greedy, stupid bi-ped monsters will be over!

Spent uranium weapons waste is already being used causing known cancer and birth rate defects in occupied states. Fukushima is a serious ongoing problem also. Nothing said there in Oz lest one goes info via offshore network.

live in New Zealand now, however what happened recently in Japan due to the earthquakes, nuclear fall out is reaching everyone : my partner has just been diagnosed with cancer( he is still young) of his family there are several older members with cancer, So this world is changing by the day and more dangerous to live in. Trugannini, the U.S. is like a punch-drunk fighter, one whose brain has been bounced around in his skull far too many times.
America lacks the intelligence to understand what nuking Iran will mean. Having lost two wars (in Iraq and Afghanistan), it stupidly…no insanely thinks it was victorious and can attack anyone.

Jonty, the Australian Government, led by Julia, will give the U.S. complete control over Assange and may even offer to help the U.S. to torture him.
The Australian people will do nothing and many will ask: “Who is Assange?” then say, “He sounds like one of them bloody foreigners, you know, boat people invaders!”

Do you have grandchildren? (rhetorical question). If so, they are no doubt very bright with all sorts of potential for making the world a better place. Grandchildren are what keeps us older folks from falling into complete despair now that we understand that the world is not what we once thought it was.

I would say without hesitation that former Prime Minister John W. Howard was a major sycophant of the US during his term in office.
I have to disagree with your last comment, Australia has been complicit in many theartres of war with the US, from Vietnam to the present day and are therefore just as culpable. Therefore any Prime Minister of Australia that supports these illegal wars especially Iraq and Afganastan are war criminals.
