Germany Is Britain’s Nemesis Still!

A political MASTER!

In 1939, Germany declared war but not on Britain. However it was not long before Germany attacked Britain and the blitz began.

Britain was fortunate to have Churchill to lead it during the German onslaught and, as the war turned around, from the Normandy landing onward until Hitler was finally defeated.

A political novice and a real professional.

And now, 66 years later, as the Euro Zone is gripped by financial and political crisis, again it is the Germans at this point in time who seem to be holding the keys to the future and, ironically, it is Britain that may be left out in the cold.

Merkel, in charge of the Euro Zone’s richest nation, seems to be playing her cards very carefully and cleverly. She and the diminutive Sarkozy seem to be the main two leaders who may, given their strong financial positions relative to many other nations, decide the fate of the economic and political Union. It’s possible that the original 27 Nations may shrink to 17. At this stage, anything is possible. Everything is in a state of flux.

But this time around, in the British camp, there is no Churchill, only Prime Minister Cameron who, in the current cutthroat game of political poker in which Britain is not a Euro Zone member (but has Treaty membership), seems to have none of the important cards in his possession. And from what I can see, he is playing those he has with consummate stupidity such that many other European nations classify him as little more than a ‘windbag’ and a ‘nuisance’.

The whole world is awaiting a solution to the Euro Zone crisis but none are more anxious than Britain. If it is pushed out into the European cold it may never recover financially.

At least that might stop it joining in with America’s serial warmongering which would be an unexpected bonus for those of us in the world who desperately want to see peace on earth!

  1. David Cameron is a right wing, landed gentry, champers swilling wanker who is taking The UK down the toilet, with help from his Liberal poodles,in this nasty little ConDem coalition. He is,politically, the bastard child of that c**t,Thatcher, and I hope they both die screaming.

  2. MiKi, why don’t you tell us what you think?

O.K., o.k, I’m only joking. It’s good to see passion about things political. I think Cameron is very lightweight, almost without substance!

    Cheers.

  3. Just for the record.
It was Britain who declared war on Germany in 1914 and in 1939.
It was Britain who bombed Germany first after declaring war in 1939.

  4. Rhubarb, thanks for the details. I’m afraid I don’t have a mind that holds details. I suppose that’s why I tend to look at the bigger picture I guess. This can be a plus and a minus.

I guess we all have to deal with our pluses and minuses. I’m glad of your pluses!

    Cheers.

  5. Regarding Winston Churchill.
He has without doubt a place in the pantheon of war criminals.
To quote Nigel Knight in his book “Churchill The Greatest Briton Unmasked”

” In the deepest of ironies,it was Hitler who made Churchill a historical figure…..
and because he wrote so much of the history himself, that we remember Churchill, above all else, for Hitlers defeat. Hitler, however, is remembered for himself”.

  6. I do like to point out, that I don’t think that Hitler was a great man.
At the same time it is because of him that Churchill has achieved his fame.
Churchill’s fame does not rest on Gallipoly, or on bombing the Arabs in the twenties, or his ill fated push up the Italian penninsula and so on……….
The book by Graham Freudenberg “Churchill and Australia” gives a very illuminating
picture of what he thought of the Australian Forces. Fodder for the Empire.

  7. OK….without the swearing……Cameron is a champers guzzling, inbred, degenerate spawn of the satanic lunatic,Thatcher, who, along with his equally wealthy bum-chum,Clegg,are taking the UK down the drain and into the sewer of history, and leading to social chaos in the streets. You cannot imagine a more hated ‘government’,which has NO MANDATE for what it is doing.
The only people who like the ConDems are the Tory right & English fascists…mind you, that’s a sizeable number.
It is a sickening situation here in the UK,and most people are SO dumbed down that they cannot/will not see what’s coming with the creeping cuts in social spending, the lurch to the right aided by the ‘meejah’,and the slow motion collapse of kapitalism. It’s getting like Germany in the 30′s,and no one wants to do ANYTHING about it,except me…and I’m too old for direct action:been there, done that.
The current young generation are apathetic beyond belief and have zero concept of ‘resistance’….it’s sad,and we are all going to pay for this ‘government’ of millionaires and their lickspittle protection of their class.
    How’s that for no swearing?!

  8. “7. I quite agree that it may be several weeks or even months before I shall ask you to drench Germany with poison gas, and if we do it, let us do it one hundred per cent. In the meanwhile, I want the matter studied in cold blood by sensible people and not by that particular set of psalm-singing uniformed defeatists which one runs across now here now there. Pray address yourself to this. It is a big thing and can only be discarded for a big reason. I shall of course have to square Uncle Joe and the President; but you need not bring this into your calculations at the present time. Just try to find out what it is like on its merits.

gmathol, I thank you for your comment and include this part of a memo from Churchill. It seems he rather liked poison gas!

  9. The Old Bedwetter was salivating to drop anthrax cakes on the German civilian population at the end of WWII – a true psychopathic war criminal on the order of Stalin – he just didn’t have the army to do the job of slaughtering with.
