More good news David,
Have also noticed not all corporates are sitting on hands whilst limited political belief systems try control where we go online. Akin to reasoned power companies doing solar loans direct to the people bypassing banking system we have online VPN companies offering more secure services on the rise.
One example I noticed whilst using USA VPN – Every time I check IP whois a different firm is carrying the out node. Today my IP is supplied by http://www.globalcrossing.com/.
There are no guarantees any VPN service isn’t collecting data and giving it away off course but from what I see on peerblock L1/L2/L3/P2P/Edu/ blocks have been all quiet whist using said service.
Best part about VPN is free trade agreement restrictions no longer effect what sites we can and can’t see. As the despot system do collapse a new is rising to fill the demand.
This is part of democracy in action yes?

I’ve forgotten what democracy means. I think it means the Prime Minister is now the Government and she makes the decisions.
That’s why we have American Marines about to put their boots on our soil!

Dueling corporate dictatorships on one side with the 99% on other is hardly democracy to a reasoned mind now is it folks?
Akin to any political belief system bubble is no more than chosen slogo akin to ‘in god we trust’. One needs to look at the fine print and evidence in action to reason what those words mean to those using them.
That all current political systems deceive the majority by practicing defining silence on issues which matter and backed by military rule as operating procedure is part of the problem goes back to Draco’s time 700 BC. Is the stand over coward, bully, inane method we’ve all grown up under.
To answer what I think is the answer to your title question.
Think, feel as the global citizens we are. Is key to the most logical and well reasoned solutions becoming a trend.

In between spraying acres of blackberries, the conversation was enjoyable.
As I sprayed, I imagined each leaf was a capitalist or an imperialist or a member of the wealthy elite or a religious molester or a politician. Amazing how quickly the spraying went!

If I were an alien visitor viewing this world, this be a quick observation.
With spent uranium now a routine element in war industry product list. Nations which do resist said evil can expect enough depleted uranium left behind to perform a much better ethnic cleansing than any gas chamber ever did.
