Friends, a few posts back I saw clearly what the future held for us mortals. That was what caused me to put in the title: “I Hate It!” It also made me want to run for the hills, so traumatized was I by my vision.
Fortunately, my feelings of abject pessimism have somewhat abated and I seem to be filled with new energy to try to do what I can (little though it is) to stop the madness that seems to be possessing the world or at least some of its nations.
How long my energy lasts is another question but I am determined to try to put more balance into my posts and not allow the world’s darkness to daunt me completely.
The photograph above is my wishful thinking image and represents what I wish the world was, you know, full of fun and laughter and love and caring and sharing.
It could be this way if we could wrest power from the parasites and predators who are bleeding us, dividing us, enslaving us, and leading us towards extinction.
The painting by Andrei Koribarics (which I have put at the end of this post so as to keep the new blog from looking too pessimistic), symbolizes what I saw in the abyss: the end of mankind brought about by greed-driven imperial wars generated by the U.S. and its European Allies plus our own genetic flaws. The fish looking quizzically at the skeleton is a brilliant touch as is the soldier still wearing his helmet.
All of us must do what we can to stop what is shown below from becoming our reality.

Oh David, come away, come away…..goodness will prevail, it has to.

I keep hoping I’m wrong, Trugannini, that humans will realize their foolishness. But I see little sign of it. We humans have lost the plot. We are consumed by greed, greed for power and greed for money and by a love for war and killing.
We don’t respect our kind and we don’t respect our planet or the other creatures who live here.
As I said, I keep hoping I’m wrong…
