What Will Humans Look Like In A 1,000 Years?

Posted by Dennis M. on Oct 11, 2011 in Posts Views:985;|

Will technology change our animal features or replace them?

Will an asteroid hit earth and render us nocturnal creatures with large eyes?

Will micro-chips be inserted into our bodies to control disease and decrease our base instincts?

Will radiation from nuclear war turn us into grotesque creatures?

OR WILL PLANET EARTH BE EMPTY OF ALL LIFE?

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

With all the radiation in the atmosphere, we will be amazingly cancer free! Or distorted in ways that are too strange to want to imagine! There is no where to hide Some places are cleaner than others. I like to think that an intelligent race will help us learn how to live in harmony on Earth as opposed to there is no Earth left. I think life is precious. All sentient beings including the plants and the spiders. We are killers, but there is a way to harvest a plant or an animal so that it fits with the natural life cycle of the being. Two cents for the day : ). Cheers!

Grace, we also have the depleted uranium on the ground as well. Who-ray!

We could live in harmony but our world contains too many subhumans, you know the ones, the ones who are greedy, who loving killing and destroying and invading and occupying and various other depravities. To these twisted people, the only thing of value is what is found in a bank!

Take care!

David G, This is a beautiful blog, the whole thing. I am 25 and just getting started on my new blog and would love your feedback on it. Now, what will Humans look like in 1000 years?
I often sit and think what we will be like in the future. Modern medicine is the first non natural event that has completely changed the path of human evolution. Humans suffer from disease and sickness for many, many reasons and by our new world combating this in so many ways, we have changed the evolutionary path of our entire race. It is hard for me to say what I think on this topic without feeling like i am coming off like some psycho neo-Nazi. I am not trying to say that we should just let all sick and weak people die off. Thats not what i think at all. We should care and nurture the weak and sick. But what is happening in our hospitals and labs across this planet is terrifying and sick.
And on a lighter note: With all of the tiny Biebers and Jersey Shore’ers out there, we dont have to wait 1000 years to see how funny we will look :-)

There be a movie in the making on just the subject.

A CITY TO MAKE ME

What will you do when the next ‘update’ is in your head? How will The Net continue to effect how we think, and what think? Will we continue to play along or resist these effects? The march towards a TRANSHUMAN future will be the greatest existential question of the 21st century.

Well if you believe in global warming, humans could adapt to that. Think about 1,000 years from now, the average day temperature being 400 or so degrees (if global warming kicks into overdrive) Humans will adapt to that and our body temperature will drop down to us being cold-blooded and our skin will grow hard and scaly, resembling a reddish orange color. It’s just a thought.
