America finally gets some of its own back!

Think about this on 9/11. It foreshadowed 9/11!

Tomorrow is an anniversary. The world, or at least the Western part of it, will join together to mourn the 3,000 deaths that resulted from  9/11.

Yes, in the minds of some, the blood of those 3,000 is infinitely more valuable than the blood of those millions who died in North Korea,Vietnam, Cambodia, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc, because of America’s imperial wars. No one in the West cares about them.

Now I always thought that a death was a death and was regrettable regardless of who died. But not in our world. Some of the many people who are killed in wars don’t rate a mention while the death of a few others is seen as a major blow to mankind.

But surely, a human is a human. Each human born has value or should have. But, like the pigs in Animal Farm, some pigs it seems are more equal than others. It depends of course on who is telling the story.

If you have the biggest army in the world then you can tell whatever story you like. Winner are grinners. The deaths of millions in Vietnam, Cambodia, Iraq and Afghanistan, etc, don’t count, at least not in Europe and America.

In the amoral Western World, it’s the deaths of the 3,000 which is important.

The three main actors.

Playing games in the death camps!

Last night, while grazing on my television, I came across an Italian movie (one with English subtitles) which I have seen before several times. It is surely one of the best movies ever made but also the most humorous, the most moving and the most perceptive.

It deals with the horror of the Nazis and their evil killing of Jews, gypsies, the handicapped, etc. But the makers of this film did not choose to concentrate on this evil though it is featured.

Instead the hero, Guido, is a man with a wonderful sense of humor and optimism, which he retains even though he and his son and wife are eventually  incarcerated in a Nazi death camp.

The story begins in Italy and features Guido, a Jewish waiter, and his meeting with his wife-to-be who he called ‘Princess.’ It is a wonderful story of how the humble man attracts his classy wife and rides off with her to enjoy true love.

Then the story changes as Guido and his four year old son are grabbed by the Nazi vermin and put on a train bound for a death camp.

The mother finds them both gone and runs to the station and demands to be put on the train. A Nazi, knowing what fate awaits them, tell her to go home but she insists.

Anyone who takes a good hard look at the world we live in could be excused for thinking that humans are, collectively, crazy. I mean, let’s face facts: only crazy beings could end up creating a world like the one we live in.

I can tell you’re are not convinced. Don’t worry, humans have a very good defense mechanism for hiding their true reality from themselves. It’s called by some the ego! It is a counterproductive trait that allows unreality to be the force which drives the lives of most!

I mean, if we could be honest enough to admit that we are crazy and that the world we have have created over 10,000 years is a true reflection of our craziness, then we might be able to move ahead, perhaps cure ourselves of out genetic afflictions, our predilection to embrace insanity.

Let’s face it, the main achievement of our 10,000 years of evolution is that we can now destroy the world we live on a thousand times over. We couldn’t do it with spears and clubs, but with nukes…well, the sky is the limit. Aren’t we brilliant? As well, we can watch a sunrise on our widescreen televisions!

Now look, I don’t want to minimize our insanity. There probably do exist in our world, weapons that make a nuke look like a bunger on cracker night. Our Masters do not tell us everything because to do so would make us more crazy than we already are. They show their caring…or is it they don’t want to stampede the horses…by not telling us everything?

 THOU SHALL NOT KILL!

“Among the files we discovered at Moussa Koussa’s office is a fax from the CIA dated 2004 in which the CIA informs the Libyan government that they are in a position to capture and render Belhadj,” Human Rights Watch’s Peter Bouckaert, who was part of the group that found the stash, told Reuters.

“That operation actually took place. He was captured by the CIA in Asia and put on a secret flight back to Libya where he was interrogated and tortured by the Libyan security services.”

The current military commander for Tripoli of Libya’s provisional government is Abdel Hakim Belhadj.”

My how things can change in our fast-moving world. One minute you’re a terrorist being rendered by the nation that calls itself the ‘Beacon on the Hill’, next minute you are a valuable senior Commander in its service!

Friends, the above extracts were taken from a current Reuters article. Given that the U.S. and its Allies are currently bombing the ass off Gaddafi, they show the elastic morality that most Western Government have.

Of course Saddam Hussein and  Ben Laden, once, were also favorite sons of America along with a cabal of brutal dictators who, until recently, America supported because they suited its own purposes.

Currently, America, in concert with its war-loving Allies like Britain and France, and using organizations like the CIA and JSOC, is engaged in all manner of intrigue, dirty deals, and top secret military missions across the world. Its goal?

World control.

Evil men love the dark!

Friends, today the Washington Post sent me an article about a largely secret army that the U.S. has been building and deploying for quite a few decades. The ‘secret’ army is known as JSOC (Joint Special Operations Command). I’ve put the link to the article at the end of the post. It makes interesting reading.

When I saw the letters JSOC, I was immediately reminded of INGSOC, the controlling power behind Big Brother in the book 1984. As I read the article I felt more misgivings and asked myself whether or not this was the beginning of America being the country that will fully embrace the horror shown in George Orwell’s prophetic book.

First of all, a few facts about JSOC taken from the article:

- Created in 1980 but reinvented in recent years, JSOC has grown from 1,800 troops prior to 9/11 to as many as 25,000, a number that fluctuates according to its mission. It has its own intelligence division, its own drones and reconnaissance planes, even its own dedicated satellites.

- When JSOC officers are working in civilian government agencies or U.S. embassies abroad, which they do often, they dispense with uniforms. In combat, they wear no name or rank identifiers.

- The president has given JSOC the rare authority to select individuals for its kill list — and then to kill, rather than capture, them.

Brave NATO pilots!

Death rains down on defenseless people.

It is becoming more and more obvious to anyone with a brain who takes an interest in world affairs, that the war lords of America and NATO are engaged in promoting permanent war with themselves being the major beneficiaries.

As BLUM said in one of his recent articles (see ICH today), “The Holy Triumvirate — The United States, NATO and the European Union — recognizes no higher power and believes, literally, that it can do whatever it wants in the world, to whomever it wants, for as long as it wants, and call it whatever it wants, like “humanitarian”.

What is happening in Libya shows the recklessness of the Warlords who make up the Triumvirate, their hubris, their  ignoring of International Law and Conventions, their love of bombing and killing, their unspoken determination, using flimsy pretexts, to dominate the world using military force.

Since the beginning of the intervention, the initial coalition of Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, Norway, Qatar, Spain, UK and US has expanded to seventeen states, with newer states mostly enforcing the no-fly zone and naval blockade or providing military logistical assistance.

You would realize of course that many of the Warlords in the coalition are heavily involved in the production of armaments and the weapons of war. America is the leader in this field. So while war rages, money is coming into their tills, lots of money.

And after the war is over (in Iraq, it’s not over yet), there is the lucrative re-building to engage in as well as the stealing of cheap oil or whatever other scarce resources can be found and pillaged. Military bases are often built in conquered nations and/ or large numbers of troops stationed there.

And the other objective of these wars is allow the Warlords to gain strategic advantage over nations that are or might become prospective rivals for the existing Warlords, nations like China, India, Russia, etc.

The irony for me is that the nations that are embroiling the world in endless war are the ones who fought valiantly against the Fascism of Hitler.

Yet here they are, 66 years later, engaging in exactly the same tactics that Hitler used: that of invasion, bombing, occupation, killing civilians, torturing, etc!
