Friends, we who contribute to this blog and others like it are dissenters. We do not agree with the way the world is being run. We want change, radical change, change that wrests power from the Oligarchs and Plutocrats and Corporations and right-wing, fascist Politicians.
We want a fairer world, one where equality is the norm, where the law treats everyone equally, where the resources of the planet are shared equally, where no nation dominates and the affairs of the world run on cooperation rather than competition and military power.
However, this radical thinking is not welcomed by the Masters of the Universe who run the world for their own benefit!
In a way, we are like those who introduced a new way of thinking into Ancient Rome. Although our thinking is not based upon the myths of religion, we, like them, are condemning those who run the world and we seek to change the rules which the Masters of the Universe have laid down to advantage themselves and their elitist ilk.
If we are to learn from history, does this not suggest that we are in danger of being treated similarly to the Christians in Ancient Rome? You laugh of course, but keep in mind public executions have been carried out in some Muslim countries in the last ten years and large crowds gather to watch them.
And what about the people across the world who gather each weekend to watch violent sporting contests like ice hockey and American football. And if there is a punch up, they go crazy. And when the blood flows, they scream and yell just like those who sat in amphitheaters like the Colosseum two thousand years ago.
Human nature is unchanged!
How easy it would be to turn the dispatch or humiliation of dissenters into a public spectacle. All they need to do is to accuse us of being unpatriotic, of being non-believers, of being critics of the ‘wonderful’ capitalist system (which allows a few to hold most of the world’s wealth), of wanting to take away the wealth of the rich, of seeking to undermine their corrupt version of democracy, etc. The MSM would love to run with this kind of nonsense especially with people like Murdoch around. Divide and conquer, it’s called!
You can imagine how the non-thinking sheeple would react to such accusations. Overnight, we would become hated, ostracized, jeered at when all we are trying to do is to make the world a better place for everyone.
Of course, Obama already has his assassination squads ready to disappear those considered to be un-American. It is only a small step to turn this murder into a public spectacle, one which would appeal to the LCD of human society who are in the majority.
Friends, even now, what we say and write is being noted. The ‘Powers that Be’ are watching us. They are working out how they can negate us. Expect to see rules being set up for the internet, rules which stifle free speech.
Even now, in America, homes of dissenters are being raided, computers taken, charges laid. When protests are held, the police handle the protesters roughly to deter others. And there is rendition and torture and the putting of prisoners in cages and who knows what else?
What the Powers that Be want more than anything else is to marginalize us, to turn society against us, to stop us questioning them and their corrupt, evil system.
We know from history that those who challenge are frequently crushed. Who knows what the future holds for us who want only peace and equality for all?
David, you are so right, sheeple do not like to think they like to be led best with a ring through their nose. They believe every word Fox and CNNNN spew out. They are happy to go to a football match or any other big sheeple venue, highly promoted by the establishment.

Yeah, Titania, all the beasts of history: Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao, Genghis Khan, George W Bush, Hitler, Sharon, etc, all knew that the sheeple would do as they were told. They also knew that humans enjoy seeing cruelty and inflicting it on others.
Put those realizations together and humans, improperly led, are capable of anything!

David, there have been moments..where I have freaked out like that woman waking up in her own casket! I have looked around and realized how deeep this all is. I wonder what I am doing on a Planet that has been run this way for sooooo long. Human history anyway. If Gaza is the largest open air prison. I am on the other side of the wall and it is all relative. Like an m.c. escher drawing.
Thank goodness for the edit feature, though some programs like google record every stroke of your keys whether you erase or not does not matter. I have tried to live as an open book – they say if you have nothing to hide then all the invasiveness should not be a problem.
Secrecy and deception are the specialty of Zionazis which its important friends are all a part of. I think the sun never set on the British Empire and that is the biggest secret of all. Who “gave” Palestine to the Zionists? Do you think they plan to be left out of World Domination??

Oh but it’s so much better now. Thanks to multi-billion dollar defense contracts, we can vaporize mass quantities of human flesh from the comfort of a flight console hundreds of miles away. We have Vulcan miniguns, that aint so mini at 1000 RoundsPerMinute. How much more flesh ripping fun can you ask for? Okay, cluster bombs are a gift that keeps on giving, but, white phosphorous and depleted uranium beat lions any day. And my all time favorite party favor, thermonuclear depopulation inducers, yepper, can’t have a party without em’. Just you wait till we find a way to strap one of them bad boys on a drone, Yeeehaa.
But it kinda looses that party atmosphere watching all the bloodshed online, alone, in moms basement, with the mind control shielding.
But hey, we can’t all be a president, with unstoppable killing powers, and huge amounts of money to spend on killing machines, and industrial carnage. And fools to fight your wars for you, as Henry Kissinger once said, “military people are just dumb animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy”. What a guy, what a piece of work he turned out to be.

Many things are said on this blog. And I do agree with almost all of them. A cry of our futility against the mainstream of how the world runs. People I meet do not show the frustration people feel who frequent this blog. Here we have a way of venting our frustration, and in a way it makes us feel good. Yet we know that we are the minority and looked upon as worriers who are “not with it”. Davids frustration are real but but his way, as he wants the world to be, borders on utopia. This is so sad but nevertheles a fact. A hankering for a better world which will not happen in our lifetime. This is nothing new and there have always been thinking people who felt that way. There is ample proof of this in quotations of years in the past. These enlightend people have achieved some success but never turned the world around as they surely wanted. The human being, so far, is not ready for it. We are all children of our time and the majority of us is brainwashed from day one. It starts at home and it continous at school and into later life. There you meet the preditors who string along with the mainthrust of live and let die( apologies to the Beatles).
On an upnote I like to say,for what it is worth, at least in our society (so far) we have a chance to express our opinion. Something which is not a given in other societies.
So, what can we do? Let’s keep hammering away. Not only in blogs but in converstions even if you are branded a fucking idiot who is not with it. Gee, this chap hasn’t even a mobile and so on……..

I have been marginalized within inches of my precious life. Society has been turned against me for questioning evil and ignorance to its face – in person – not just online! I am spied on and the only thing I have going for me is the fact that I am raising a decent son. I feel that I am already known and watched by the big EYE. I have dealt with invasive horror by the System and had false accusations made. You have no idea how I have fought for my life in a killer system that lost my paperwork almost every step of the way and refused my rebuttals. My husband grew up in the govt system and he knows exactly how it works. He works hard and pays his taxes and is grateful for life, but he also has no misconceptions about what assholes run things and how you have to fight every step of the way.
We had a talk the other night how if we were disappeared, nobody would hardly notice. How safe would it be for people who come asking about us?

We see the way the world is run and we say why. We know that things could be much different, much better for the masses who are in dire poverty. We try our best to treat others they way we like to be treated. It IS a slow process, this business of changing things. It takes a long time, decades, maybe even entire lifetimes and more. The thing is, we believe that it is worth the effort to TRY and make the world a better place.
Are we being monitored? Probably, but so what? While Gobomber may claim to have the power to kill anybody, any time, and at any place, I refuse to allow him to scare me away.
To give in and give up would be the worst thing we could ever do.
I know that I don’t have enough time left in this life to see things change, I still keep trying in my own small way. That is all any of us can do, unless you have the money and power to influence people on a mass scale. Even then, I bet it will still take decades and more.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Rhubarb, your comment about ‘keep hammering away’ is correct, of course. That’s all we folk who have no real power or money can do. And those who have the power and money don’t want to see change because they are exploiting freely and have it all. Sad but true!

Charlie, I’m not so sure anymore that most humans can be changed. The indoctrination combined with the genetic flaws seems to stop that. Of course, like you, I still keep trying but pissing into the wind gets rather tedious and uncomfortable sometimes!

It is a difficult world to live in if we take matters too seriously, ie, Unabomber style. We have a world, that for all the faults we humans bring to it, is still a great, and the only place, we will ever experience. For me personally, I regard the intrusion of religion on world affairs the more ghastly experience. Without organised religion it would be a much better place, and there would be no need for the killing machines and armies who continue to do battle with warped viewpoints of old men in strange clothing and strange rituals.
Today, I am looking at the view over Lake Toba, Indonesia, perhaps, IMO, one of the most scenic and peaceful spots in the world. Take some time off, get away from rat race, and reflect on what we have been afforded as humans. Nature, my own God.

Fight back. Join Avaraz, Greenpeace, march in the streets, write to politicians or Mr gates, take up swords (figuretively of course, even if they are indonesian), shout, scream, protest. Every voice is a voice. If the noise is loud enough even the deafest will hear.
But don’t do it with anger, do it because it can be better.
