Friends, back a few hundred years ago, colonialism was rampant. Many European Nations were heavily involved in it, nations like the British, the French, the Dutch, the Spanish, the Germans, the Portuguese, etc, and, last but not least, the Americans.

Unfortunately, colonialism did not die even when many empires faded into the sunset. Ah no, once a people get a taste for invading and occupying another country and helping themselves to the country’s resources and cheap labor, the desire increases.

And it lives on. In Britain, many older people still miss the time when their empire was the pre-eminent power in the world and, of course, Britain still has colonial possessions in Gibraltar and the Falkland Islands, etc. The French still have a colony in Noumea and I’m sure there are many other examples.

Many of the original colonial empires don’t exist anymore but some of them are hanging their hats on the world’s major imperial power, the U.S., perhaps hoping they will get a cut of the booty and relive the glory days. So we have the British, the French and even the Italians supporting military action in Libya where there is a plentiful supply of oil.

I guess the rich Western Nations are allying themselves with America so they can preserve their capitalist system, the one that rewards a few handsomely while it punishes the many.

These Palestinian girls have never known freedom. Neither have their parents. Yet they can still smile!

Few events in history have had such ramifications as the creation of the Jewish State of Israel.

To allow a handful of Jewish religious fanatics to go into the Palestinian Territories, which is part of an Arab region, and push the Palestinian Muslims out, occupy them (in 1967), kill them in large numbers, humiliate them, starve them, bulldoze their houses.etc,  was not a sensible thing to do.

It could be better described as madness!

16 Palestinian protesters were shot and killed by the IDF as they held protests on Nakba Day. Many more were injured. It appears they even crossed the border in the north and were temporarily reunited with other Palestinians in the Golan Heights. See Al Jazeera for full details.

Perhaps the success of their protests will give them the idea that Israel is not invincible. Perhaps all it requires is the same determination that has been shown in many other Arab countries.

Palestinians unite! Then you can fight against, and beat, the Jewish curse!

While humans busy themselves with killing, torturing, cheating, raping…

Other more harmless creatures busy themselves sipping nectar from  pretty flowers and

Flying in the sunshine, freely sharing their exquisite beauty with the world without conceit.

Would that humans had the wit and humility to recognize that even butterflies are vastly superior to them.

But alas, they are far too involved in fighting wars and getting rich to notice their insufferable evil and ugliness.

Friends, America is an imperialist, predator nation (see last post). It always has been despite its claim of seeking freedom and democracy for all.

As I predicted several posts back, America has already started demonizing China (see Paul Craig Roberts on ICH today)  which is the probably ‘bogeyman’ replacement for Osama. Hilary has been throwing mud despite the hypocrisy of her words and the  mud will get evermore toxic.

The question is: what do we do about America’s imperialism? There is only one solution that I can see: America must be taken down.

Who by, you ask? The other 6+ billion people who live on the planet and want their rights respected, who want peace, people like you and me.

Using what means? Initially we must use BRICS!  What the hell does that mean? It means Boycott, Ridicule, Isolate, Condemn, and Sanction.

- BOYCOTT.  The world must stop buying all goods made in America and ignore their services. Their armaments in particular should be ignored because they fuel war. American banks in other countries must be closed down.

- RIDICULE. America’s ambitions to control the world must be portrayed as a joke. The mess that is Iraq shows that America couldn’t even run one country, let alone the world!

- ISOLATE. American must be isolated from all world forums. American citizens must be stopped from entering non-imperial countries.

There are some very nice Americans. However, the bulk of them seem to be predators. Hang on, let me qualify that. The bulk of them are either predators or brain-dead.

The predators, a small group that subdivide into political predators (see above), corporate predators, military predators, etc, are the ones leading American towards the evil goal of  trying to control the world.

Many predators live in grand mansions and drive fancy stretch limousines or Ferrari sports cars and have private aircraft and motor yachts. They have shares in armament companies, lots of them. And oil companies. And banks. These kind of organizations, driven purely by the profit motive, exist to make predators rich, er…richer!

The brain-dead, a very large group, are all those Americans who let the predators have free reign, the ones who never question anything, the ones who hang flags outside their homes, the ones who believe they live in a real democracy, the ones who don’t care about the huge inequality in incomes and wealth in their country, the ones who think torture is right and proper, the ones who think America is on a mission from God, the ones who believe every lie their Government tells them, no matter how bizarre.

Now, you might say that the brain-dead are not responsible for their comatose state, that they have been indoctrinated and they don’t know any better. That’s like saying the German people had no role in the rise and rise of Hitler. Every human is responsible for their actions, even their voting actions. They are also responsible for their inaction, say for closing their eyes and pretending that the Government knows best.

The bottom line is that the brain-dead are also responsible for every death that their Government, the one they elected, causes as it rapes and pillages and murders its way around the world while braying that it is bringing freedom and democracy.

Las Vegas – another American cultural icon!

1. We are destined to control the world so just accept it.

2. All the resources in the world obviously belong to the country with the biggest army, get it?

3. We are an exceptional people, far better than all others even if they don’t realize it, not yet anyway but better times are coming.

4. America might is always right no matter how many colored people we kill though we regret their deaths immensely, yes we do.

5. All American motives are pure even though sometimes we look rather barbaric and cruel and like Philistines but only to those who don’t understand or are willfully blind.

6. If we lie and deceive and steal it is for the best of reasons and underneath it all, we are doing what is best for us you even if you’re too stupid to see it.

American justice!

The World’s No1 Terrorist now!

Friends, the death of Osama has cleared the decks. For a decade, the U.S. and its leaders have hidden behind Osama while it went about its terrorist activities in Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan, etc.

For a decade, the name ‘Osama’ has been used to frighten children, even some in their twenties and thirties, to frighten voters, to excuse America’s brutal invasions and occupations, to justify its frequent breaking of international laws and conventions, to allow it to use torture and rendition, etc.

With the death of Osama, America is now the world’s top terrorist nation and Obama, as its Commander in Chief, is now clearly the world’s top terrorist.

Of course, the fear of Osama was never real. It was manufactured. After all, he never had the world’s biggest army by far or a zillion nukes or flotillas of warships and submarines and military bases everywhere. He didn’t have an army or navy or air force at all, just  a handful of men with light arms who opposed American imperialism.

Al Jazeera has an article today which is well worth reading. The article points out that the U.S., with Osama gone, can concentrate its efforts on stopping China becoming a rival both economically and militarily.

The article points out that there is fear in China about what America will do next, now that it has the Middle East more or less under control. There is fear, not only in the minds of the Chinese authorities but on the Chinese streets, that America will move into the region surrounding China and try to bottle it up and try to stop it getting hold of scarce resources elsewhere in the world, resources that it needs to aid its expansion and lift the living standard of its people.

It is obvious to me that the U.S. will now try to push China into the role that Osama had.

Friends, this photograph shows a group of the world’s most evil men, men who love to kill, men who love to see blood and guts and complete destruction, uniformed psychotic men who are corrupted by the immense military power they have, men who believe that might is always right.

These are men who condone torture and rendition, who condone the use of depleted uranium and putting people in cages, deranged men who think that their country should dominate the world and kill anyone who thinks differently or opposes them.

These ‘warriors’ do the bidding of their President who, in turn, is controlled by greedy billionaires and corporations who believe their Government should have the right to invade and occupy any country and take its resources.

The men in the photograph and those who support them are sick. They should all be in psychiatric institutions or hung for war crimes!

America, country by country, is swallowing the world!

Friends, Obama visited Ground Zero and, with typical America hubris, told the world that America never forgets and that America will visit retribution upon all those who stand in its way (or, in other words, offer resistance to its imperialism). Osama bin Laden was such a man and paid the price.

It was a message from a megalomaniac, one who is puffed up by the power he has as Commander in Chief (of a bankrupt country), a Commander who has hit-squads who will follow his orders should an un-American American dare to speak out and offer criticism, a Commander who has more than 1,000 military bases (or access to them) spread right across the world plus fleets of warships, who has FEMA camps, etc.

Friends, Obama, and the psychos who form his Administration, are to be feared. He, and they, forget about how many people America has killed since the end of WW2 (said to be between 10 and 20 million) and tries to demonize a man who, in legitimately fighting against the imperial forces of the Soviets and then the Americans, may be responsible for the deaths of maybe tens of thousands.

Of course, Osama made the mistake of attacking American imperialists on their own soil. That’s a big no-no. Americans can invade, occupy and kill people by the  millions and not give a damn but don’t let anyone attack them let alone demolish two of their capitalist icons and kill Americans.

The truth is that America wants to engage in endless war but doesn’t want any casualties. It wants to kill others but doesn’t want them to fight back, to give it a taste of its own medicine. It wants to take over other nations and steal their resources but when they fight back, they are terrorists!

Friends, it seems the murder of Osama was given the code name ‘Geronimo’. This was rather ironic given that the Indian Chief fought against the White Man who had reneged on a treaty (how unusual, eh?).

“Among the Apache Indians who resisted government removal of their people from treaty-guaranteed reservations in the late nineteenth century, Geronimo was the boldest and most determined. Beginning in the mid-1870′s, he led his Chiricahua warriors in numerous raids designed to thwart efforts to displace his people from their Southwest lands, and by 1885 he was orchestrating an all-out campaign against white settlements in parts of Arizona and New Mexico. Finally, however, he fell into federal custody in 1886, and following his confinement in several prisons, he was allowed to settle in Oklahoma, where he took up farming.”

The brief excerpt above gives a few details about Geronimo who was a hero to his people and was admired by some white people. Osama was a hero to his people too and he struggled against various forces (Soviets and Americans) to free his people in Afghanistan. Not only did he fight them in Afghanistan but he widened the conflict, even successfully attacking them on their home soil (9/11).

When he fought against the Soviets he was supported by the Americans. Then they turned on him when they invaded and occupied Afghanistan for their own imperial objectives. So when he began to fight against U.S. imperialism he was made a bogeyman.

What is interesting to me is that the ancestors of the white men who slaughtered the Native Indians are now slaughtering Afghans (and since WW2 they have slaughtered many others).
