Friends, this morning I saw the Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, a lawyer, state on television that Osama had been ‘brought to justice’.
So a man who was mown down in Pakistan by an American special forces hit-squad along with his son and wife was given justice was he, Julia? Have you forgotten all your legal training? Has your worship of America and Israel blinded you completely?
Well, certainly he was given American justice. American ideas of ‘justice’ brought about the genocide against the American Indians. Then there was the justice of the Wild West when people were regularly strung up from the nearest tree without trial. Then in the Deep South, ‘niggers’ were justly hung by the Ku Klux Klan for misdeeds such as looking at a white women.
It was justice like it was in Vietnam when simple villagers were napalmed because they were suspected of being sympathetic to the Viet Cong. If they, men, women and children, didn’t die from their burns they carried terrible scars for the rest of their lives. Then the Americans moved to Cambodia.
It was justice like that meted out to Iraq civilians via cluster bombs and depleted uranium explosives and phosphorous bombs or the water-boarding in Guantanamo or the cruel rendition carried out in other countries.
Yeah, American justice has many dimensions, most of them evil!
Then, after Osama’s death, his body was taken by the hit-squad in their helicopters and we are told he was quickly buried at sea so as to avoid him having a burial place where the people who supported him might go to pay their respects. Where his son and wife were buried is unknown at this point in time. The message behind this obscene, infantile gesture was clear: don’t you mess with us or this will be your fate!
Of course, Osama dead is better for the American propaganda machine. Had he been taken alive and put on trial, which some people think is what justice means, he would have had a real tale to tell especially about when he was being feted by the Americans because he fought against the Soviets in Afghanistan.
As soon as the Soviets moved out the imperial Americans moved in and suddenly Osama was no longer the flavor of the month and he was discarded by the fickle Americans to whom everyone is expedient.
Friends, the statement by my Prime Minister that Osama has been brought to justice shows how morally bankrupt our world has become. Words like ‘justice’, thanks to imperial America which shuns the ICC, no longer have meaning.
We are moving into a Big Brother World, one where words like justice and equality and morality, etc, are what our rulers say it is.
Julia, you are a disgrace! Because of you, we too, like the Americans, are going to Hell in a hand-basket.
I quite agree with you David. I nearly puked when I heard the idiot make her statement. I truly believe that Gillard suffers from a Narcissistic Personality Disorder which can be defined as
1. having a grandiose sense of self-importance
2. being preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance of mind
3. believing that she is special and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high status people eg the Americans and the Israel (delve a little into her past and you will find the connection with the zionists
4.she requires excessive admiration
5. has a sense of entitlement
6. is interpersonally exploitative
7. shows arrogant, haughty behavior towards the public
No we are not moving into a big brother world we are already there, and unfortunately there is no place to go. In my opinion there is no solving this problem, we will drive ourselves into extinction by our stupidity, and that is properly not a bad thing as far as the planet is concerned!

All the signs are already there and they are embedded in every day language. Language has been appropriated to maintain a state of powerlessness in the population. The fault lies in the so-called education system, Fay. People are not educated, they are indoctrinated. Universities now are vocational training centres. People rarely question what is going on in the world. They just accept that their rulers know best.
As capitalism collapses and people start to do it tough, there could be many who will awakenfrom their dream and demand answers to hard questions.
But fascism may be fully in control by then and it will all be too late!

Thank you, David, and those who have responded thus far, for assuring me that I am not alone in my perception of this event as politically staged and timed with the ulterior motive of creating even more dissention and hatred between religious fundamentalists. Albert Pike’s prediction of WWIII being waged between Zionists and Islam, made in 1870 before the state of Israel existed, is right on target. He also predicted prior to their occuring WW I & II as well as “why” they would be fought and the outcomes. The media’s choice of words is blatantly manipulative and can easily be termed “pre-emptive projection” and/or “aggressive projection”. I think it is well within possibility that bullets could soon be hitting politicians. The people are so fed up with their behaviour and slimy attitudes.
Party politics need to be eradicated. Get rid of the power base. Also get rid of each and every dual citizen from Parliament and Government offices, along with the unelected advisory bodies.
Of course, the big one is to get rid of that private company posing as part of our Government. The Reserve Bank of Australia!
Howard didn’t get rid of many guns at all. We are still an armed citizenry and Julya would do well to remember that.

I wouldn’t use America as a reason for gun control. I think the average Aussie is far more intelligent than most Americans and not so prone to fly off the handle.

David, I do agree. I have written a few times to J.G. to watch whom she is representing and to be fair, and to remember “Eureka”! Naturally I did never get an answer; she just wanted my vote! LOL!
Switzerland has neutrality, but now certain forces, (it had a zionist as President, she had to go because she was so corrupt) try to dismantle it; they do not give up. Until now the people have resisted this proposal in the referendums. The government wants to get rid of those as well, it is so much easer to manipulate. My guess is with time they will succeed as the Swiss are fed sleeping pills. The younger generations do not vote anymore, only about half of the eligible population votes!

Osama bin Laden was the leader/commander of a paramilitary terrorist organisation that has declared war on and is engaged in ongoing operations against the USA and other Western countries including Australia. He was guilty of deliberately killing innocent civilians. That is a substantially more serious crime against humanity than unintended or even indiscriminate killing of innocent civilians that the US could be accused of.
Bin Laden was an enemy combatant and therefore a legitimate military target as well as being an international war criminal. He was killed in an exchange of fire during a military action when he refused to surrender. Justice was served. Julia Gillard’s comments are totally justified.

K.Brown, the mock-ups of the killing of Osama showed him standing by his bed with his wife and he was not armed. Three commandos were shown standing near the door with automatic rifles trained on him. He and his wife were then shot in the head.
That is clearly a case of murder and anyone who thinks that what occurred is justice needs deep counseling!

A computer generated image imagined from skant information by an artist in a TV props studio is not a good basis for prosecuting a case let alone reaching a verdict David. It doesn’t take much imagination to think through the situation a little more realistically:
The SEALs encountered armed resistance on the ground floor and engaged in a firefight. They then proceeded up the stairs to locate bin Laden who they know is a fanatical Muslim terrorist who preaches martyrdom and suicide bombing. He’s obviously aware by now that he is being attacked and its probably a good idea to assume he has access to weapons and possibly explosives. It is also reasonable to be prepared for resistance rather than a meek surrender. Smash or blow the bedroom door in and enter the blacked out room wearing night vision goggles that degrade your direct vision and spatial awareness. Bin Laden’s wife rushes you. Shoot her in the leg. Bin Laden doesn’t surrender but is also moving. Is he armed, going for a weapon or has he primed a pre-set explosive device and is going to take everyone out in a blaze of jihadist glory? Sorry David, no time to negotiate there is only one option left!
As the military commander of al-Qaeda, bin Laden was an “unlawful combatant” under Article 3 of the Geneva Convention and could be killed at any time. He was a legimate military target. There was no obligation under humanitarian law to apprehend or arrest him. The Laws of Armed Conflict applied in this tactical military assault, not ordinary peacetime civilian police powers. The only constraint applying under LOAC was to not kill him if he had surrendered. He didn’t surrender.

In what court room was OsamaBL found guilty? They did not play the tape over and over where he said he planned the murder of all those people on the one day. His “tape” is the only evidence we have!
