Hopi legend has it that the above will be the fate of the the United States.
History tells us that when the white men came to the Brave New World, they slaughtered most of the indigenous population as well as the bison. They even used their army, which had rifles, cannons and machine guns, against native people who fought only with bows and arrows and spears. The results were predictable and America from its inception was deeply covered with Indian Blood.
One wonders whether elitist America, one day, will suffer the same fate as they visited upon the American Indians; whether, one day, white Americans will pay the ultimate price for the Indian blood they spilled on the American mainland as well as the blood they later spilled in other lands that were and are far removed from their homeland.
It is said, those who live by the sword, die by the sword.
Could it be that they too, under attack from other vengeful nations which America has attacked or sought to marginalize, will make rivers of blood that will merge with those of the American Indians making a macabre version of blood brothers?
That the U.S. is due for bloody retribution is obvious. For too long it has trampled over other nations. For too long it has played its duplicitous imperial games, pretended to be the peacemaker while it built its gigantic army and spread its military bases across the world.
When it turned to torture and rendition and put people in cages, the world became more aware of its evil. When it refused to acknowledge the ICC it showed its hypocrisy. When it allowed Israel to bomb Gaza with American supplied weapons and planes and said nothing, it showed its true colors.
One day, the U.S. will pay a terrible price for its greed, its violence, its killing, its arrogance.
The Hopi prophecy will surely come true.

The atrocities that the white people from the east perpetrated on the indigenous Indians of the new world is without doubt the cause of the karma they are now suffering and will suffer even worse as they continue their imperialistic march across the globe. America is MEANT TO BE a Christian nation yet the action of its people shows otherwise. If this was truly a Christian nation there would be rebuke and consternation over there total disregard their government has for human life. Instead, Americans are quiet in their living rooms and kitchens and satisfied with their lives while shopping in the malls and Walmart, totally oblivious to the atrocities their masters are carrying out around the world. We are the only nation that argues about evolution and here lies our problem – we are governed by the propaganda machine that manipulates us through inverted totalitarianism, the people are happy to allow this grotesque scenario because their lives are comfortable, so why change things? They are blind to the fact that they have no true freedom or voice in the affairs of their nation. America, wake up now before we past the point of no return – get back you nation, start groups to defend your communities from the corporate massacre, the gun culture, and the proto fascist’s (tea-party) of your country. Because of our greed, and our complacency, we are heading for an economic collapse of the like we have never seen before – it will be our demise – WE MUST STOP THIS LUNACY. The corporate elite and their wealthy benefactors want the dollar to crash because they want control (well, surprise, they already have it). Why do you think Bernanke is keeping the dollar at zero interest? The wealthy elite don’t want a strong dollar because their manufacturing base is abroad not here in America where it should be – they are trying to create a global economy which means the dollar must sink further against foreign currencies. As George Carlin said ‘you are not members of the club’.

A very strong statement, Robert, one filled with facts that must surely make many Americans uncomfortable. Whether they will do something about the dire situation is another question.
The prophecy is also dire and right on the money. If America doesn’t stop its madness it will be attacked and destroyed.

Russia, China, India, the Arab nations, etc, are not going to allow themselves to be marginalized by the world’s biggest, greediest, war-loving bully.
The U.S., power-mad, is driving the world towards nuclear Armageddon where there will be no winners. And no planet. The American people must rebel.

Yes, sooner or latter america will pay a price for all the evil it has done. The only bad part is that the innocent as well as the guilty will pay. In many cases it is the innocent who will pay the most and most definitly pay first. It is the poorest and the most politically helpless americans who are suffering during our latests reccession/depression. It is the rich and powerful who always seem to have the means to escape being effected by the results of their actions no matter how horrible.

This was the first Easter I could not attend Church – and then I read this line.
I was very confused because we tried raising our son the “normal” way, but as he gets older the stories we tell ourselves just aren’t believable. I was relieved and felt that rather than fail – we as a family had evolved..
We took no part in the making of World division by ideology.

Since my neck was broken after a visit to a chiropractor 7 years ago, I have been on every possible combination of drugs and surgeries. Most of my peace was pharmaceutically induced.

If you try to stop the drugs you will feel like it is time for you to die now.

Yes, the US will have to pay for the crimes that it has committed. That is a given. As we used to say, retribution is incest. A polite way of saying that payback is a mother*****er.
The Hopi will suffer as well though. Radiation doesn’t discriminate with regards to ethnicity.
As to America supposed to be a “christian” nation, I disagree. It was supposed to practice religious tolerance. There was to be NO state religion.
The three main monotheistic religions all started in the Middle East; Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. They are not the product of the caucasian peoples. It is true that the caucasians have taken those beliefs to new lows. They have perverted them all and that is another crime against humanity. Notice also, that the three “big” monotheistic religions are all patriarchal. Men are to dominate according to all three. Another distortion of the cycle of life, which should be, and was further back in time, feminine. When god was a woman, no doubt there were fewer wars and people were more truly spiritual.
Karma will catch up to the Wall Street banksters and the crooked politicians of America. The “two party” system is a total joke. What we actually have are two sides of the same damn coin. There is so little real difference between the two now days. Both suck up to the “too big to fail” gangs and have sold out to the big money gangs.
Big deal, an elephant or a donkey. Neither are house broken, both tramp through the flower beds and crap in our yard. Some choice.

Jeannie, you are right. Far too often, the innocent are made to pay and far too often, the guilty ones escape punishment for their crimes.
Grace, ideology is an ugly, dangerous, divisive word. It brings with it killing and suffering and insanity. Take care.
Charlie, your comment contains many gems of wisdom. Like you, I am saddened by what America has become although its slaughter of the native Americans was not a good start and seemed to set the scene. Greed and capitalism did the rest.

My heart aches at the idea of the Indians having what was rightfully theirs, taken away from them. I believe the Indians would have a clean, peaceful, prosperous, land even now if they whiteys hadn’t gotten in it and screwed it all up. I am ashamed to be included in the white race. I hope I can help the non-whites in any way I can to get them back to where they originally were.
