A Catastrophe Befalls the U.S. And Israel!

How it once was under Arafat!

Can the two sides reconcile their differences and become unified?

Israel and the U.S. hope not!

Friends, I regret to announce that the U.S. and Israel have suffered a calamitous catastrophe. It is one that is so far-reaching that the effects will probably be felt for centuries.

I refer of course to the seeming reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas which, though it is fraught, brings to a potential end the bitter conflict between these two Palestinian organizations.

When Fatah refused to accept their defeat to Hamas and began to seek to curry favour with the Israelis and their subjects: the Americans, the Palestinians suffered a huge reversal in fortunes. They became split and, as everyone knows, ‘divided we fall.’

The Israelis and the Americans did triple somersaults to encourage the split and Fatah, renouncing everything they had fought for for decades, began to make deals with the Israelis, collaborating with them with disgusting ardor.

The result of this has been that the Palestinians have gone backwards and backwards and perhaps have reached the stage where they have no chance of achieving their own State or any sense of independence.

While the capitulation of Fatah has continued, the Israelis have furthered their land-stealing and the building of illegal settlements in the West Bank. Fatah, as if to reward this illegality, have worked with Israeli security forces against their own people. Israel has also worked to ensure the siege of Gaza was perfect and guaranteed that the Gazans suffered mightily.

But, despite all this collaborating and bribing, it appears that the Palestinians have finally realized that they have been played for suckers, that the actions of the U.S. and Israel were directed towards making the split between Fatah and Hamas as wide as the Grand Canyon.

Israel, given this development and the change of Government in Egypt, is worried. It doesn’t know what a new Egyptian Government will do and it doesn’t know what the outcome of peace talks between Fatah and Hamas will be. Importantly, its control of both situations has gone and the U.S. is currently floundering like a beached whale given the revolutions happening across the Middle East and the deposing of dictators that it had under its thumb.

Whether the Palestinians can put their house back together again is an unknown. Perhaps if they hang Abbas and Erekat they might. Time will tell.

But at least there is a chance now of reconciliation and a chance of negotiating as a unified people again. And if they join with other Arab nations, then the boot might change to the other foot and Israel might become a minor player in the region and America might  be marginalized and/or sent packing!

We can but hope that justice will finally prevail for the Palestinians and that the Jews will get their deserved comeuppance!

  1. I hope that they reach an agreement and the Palestinians are united again. Fatah bent over backwards to please Israel and Israel still continued to demoilish Palestinian homes, build on their land and make military incursions into the West Bank. Hamas took the other tactic and received exactly the same treatment so it shows Israel is not interested in dealing peacefully with the Palestinians, they just want the land for there own. SIckens me how the international community allows Israel to get away with it decade after decade. Hopefully Hamas will give Fatah a bit of spine and Fatah will cool the temper of Hamas.

  2. My biggest desire is for my people to stop playing factions, unite, and bring down the real enemy-the Zionists. This began as our primary goal, to have deviated from it and turn on each other is the greatest blight our history has seen, it surpasses the Nakba. If we are to survive, we must once again unite to fight and expel these bloodstained usurpers and send them packing back to the cesspool from whence they came!

  3. Indeed. Divide and conquer has been the MO for USIsrael. It works well in US politics.
And Israel has NEVER been a party to peace. Only continued expansion at will. The only country on the planet without borders. Speaks volumes, as do their open and blatant practice of genocide.

  4. That the JEWS get their comeuppance? That sounds a bit antisemitic. I’m all for the asshole Israelis who have been stomping on the Palestinians to get what’s coming, but please don’t make it sound like all jews are criminals. Other than that, great post.

  5. It’s great to see from the above comments that some folk in the world recognize the travesty of justice that has befallen the Palestinians. Hopefully more and more people will begin to support the Palestinians and condemn the regional imperial bully, Israel, and the world imperial bully, America!

P.S. Some Guy, the asshole Israelis you speak about are mainly Jewish. Sorry, them’s the facts.

Yea I’m aware of that, but one must be careful of lumping every single jew in the world into the same category as the israeli fascists. It’s a minor semantic issue with possible major effects, no need to stoke indiscriminate antisemitism is all I am saying.

I would like to make one point here. Presuming that there are “good” Jews then they best stand up and expose the evil natured ones and denounce any connection. I used to consider there were good and bad Jews before I started looking at the big picture. So far very little effort is apparent that there would be such a possibility. Is there only one with a concience? Cheers-

Good point, 76-water: where are all these ‘good’ Jews? Certainly the mainstream Jews seem to be either in Israel or supporting Israel just as in Germany (prior to WW2), most Germans supported Hitler though there were some who were against him.

Same could be said of all walks of white upper class who benefit without lifting a finger. You are saying that ALL Jews benefit from Zionist policies. I don’t know if that is true. There are always exceptions.

As a Holocaust Survivor, AIPAC Doesn’t Speak for Me. She traveled to Palestine to speak for the people. The Israelis abused their own, an old lady, sacred cow holocaust survivor!!!
See, she is but one person. Wasn’t on CNN tonite. There is one good jew, people. They are out there and we must not forget them. I believe there are plenty more that feel the same.
However, most people are not free. People involved in groupthink. All I know is that I used to be in it and it is like having blinders on. More educated, the more free people generally are including educating themselves.

  6. Grace, this is a non-argument that Some-guy is running.

Of course there are Jews who oppose what Israel is doing. But they are in the minority and they don’t stop or hinder the Israeli regime or its brutality or imperialism one bit. In fact, from all over the world, Jews send money to support it.

It really disappoints the number of “Jewish” sympathisers here in the USA. They have no idea the damage done to our country and the world because of Zionism. The strangle hold AIPAC has on our congressional body; the wars, the forign policy, and crimes against humanity. This is what I am talking about when I say we live in a subverted nation. The MSM and the educational system here in America has succeeded in disceaving the public to feel sorry for Israel no matter what criminality they are involved in. This is the plague distroying this country. America would not be at war anywhere if it were not for Israel.

76-water, with this I do agree. “The strangle hold AIPAC has on our congressional body; the wars, the forign policy, and crimes against humanity” and everything else you said.
