Friends, according to Reuters this morning, the Forth Reich (America) is going to be indirectly involved in enforcing a no-fly zone, a follower rather than a leader.

Reuters reports, “…the United States had insisted it would participate in rather than lead any military action. Obama said the United States would not deploy ground troops in Libya.”

U.S. officials went on to say, “While other countries or NATO may play roles in military action, U.S. officials expect the United States with its extensive air and sea forces to do the heavy lifting in a campaign likely to include air strikes on tanks and artillery.”

Hmmmmm! I smell a rat. Do you?

Given that America is the world’s premier warmonger and imperialist, why is it pretending to be coy about bombing the balls off Gadaffi? Why has it forsaken its Shock and Awe routine? Why has it given up on invasion and occupation which it loves? What is it up to?

Friends, there is an eerie feeling in the world. So many things are happening, terrible things, that it almost blows one’s mind.

We do seem to be spiraling ever downwards. There are wars and rebellions everywhere. There are unusual numbers of large natural catastrophes like earthquakes and tsunamis and floods. There are nuclear accidents. There is disputation at the U.N. and drug gangs are threatening the Government in Mexico. Drones are darkening the skies and killing people. Armadas of warships are patrolling the world’s oceans. Countries are arming themselves fearing the rise of America. The wealth of the world is ending up in fewer and fewer hands. No one trusts anyone anymore. Governments seem to be turning against the people who elected them. We sit in our houses wondering if we may experience a home invasion, or rape, or murder…

Of course, you know what is going on or you wouldn’t be reading this.

Friends, this is a very interesting photograph but also a very revealing one. What do you think this man is doing besides looking anxious and forlorn?

Is he praying for Divine help for his sick daughter or cancer-ridden wife?

Is he thinking about the chaotic world with its endless wars and strife and wishing there was peace?

Is he planning to start a Movement that will sweep the world and change all its shortcomings?

Is he waiting for the phone to ring and a call to tell him he’s been promoted or fired?

The truth is that he’s watching a television screen which shows him that the share market in Wall Street is falling because of the unexpected Japan crisis! His face and bodily posture shows that this is of great significance to him.

You see, he makes money, lots of money, trading shares. His whole life is spent gambling on whether shares go up or down. He can get very, very rich if he gambles the right way. Conversely, he can end up destitute and jobless.

The fact is that he produces nothing worthwhile. He is a gambler. Wall Street is a Casino. There are thousands of people just like him, traders who work for large companies.

Friends, the world has had three Reichs or empires. The First Reich was the Holy Roman Empire and that ran from 962 to 1806. The Second Reich was the Hohenzollen empire in Germany which ran from 1871 to 1918. The Third Reich ran from 1933 to 1945 and involved the Nazi dictatorship of Hitler.

It is clear that the Forth Reich started in America after 1945 and is well underway in 2011. But the Forth Reich didn’t announce its intentions to control the world. No, it pretended to be promoting democracy and human rights. What incredible cunning and deceit!

Following WW2, America began to develop its army. It didn’t just amass an army to protect its borders, oh no. It amassed the world’s biggest army seeking to control the world. It spends more on armaments and its Armed Forces than the rest of the world combined.

With this massive army the Forth Reich has not only retained its grip on Japan and Germany but it has expanded its empire by engaging in endless wars. It received a setback in Vietnam due to Chinese support for the Vietnamese but other than that it’s had an easy road to walk.

With its army it’s pushed its way into many regions of the world and, once in, it rarely leaves. It is suggested that the Forth  Reich has more than 1,000 military bases or access to military bases spread right across the world.

But using military force is not its only endeavor to expand its empire. The Forth Reich is into bribery in a big way too.

These men can’t fight against bombs!

Friends, this is a short post. As you read this, the U.S. has agreed with the Arab States’ call for a no-fly zone. The U.K. and France have been pushing for a no-fly zone. The U.N. has been discussing a no-fly zone. NATO and U.S. warships are patrolling off the Libyan coast. They all talk the talk but they don’t walk the walk.

What is the West waiting for?

And while these discussions are going on, the freedom fighters in Libya are being massacred as they try to fight  against tanks and heavy artillery and fighter jets which Gadaffi is using against them to try to prop up his despotic, brutal rule which America, hitherto, supported.

Are the ‘talkers’ going to allow all the freedom fighters to be slaughtered or just most of them? I guess if Gaza and the West Bank is any guide, they will allow the slaughter to continue. After all, Netanyahu and Gadaffi are birds of a feather and both serve America’s interests.

Who is running the show?

What is going on the region and in other parts of the world shows that the world is being run by a group of simpletons whose only interest is self-interest. The ‘West’ is a colonial rich boys club that exists to make profits for the wealthy elite. The U.S. is its leader.

The giant wave strikes!

The devastation quickly follows!

Friends, I have been struck by the amount of goodwill that has been generated by the catastrophe in Christchurch in New Zealand and now the huge earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

When events like this happen, all of a sudden national boundaries are forgotten, political differences are forgotten, imperial ambitions are forgotten, naked national self-interest is forgotten, and, for a short time, the people of the world join together to help people who are suffering death and terrible destruction.

What that says to me is that underlying the crassness and greed and selfishness which despoils our world most of the time, there is a part of each human that accepts that we are all vulnerable when nature decides to show us just how insignificant and powerless we humans really are.

In such times, human manage to stop their bickering and fighting and one-up-man-ship and work together to repair what nature has wrought. Yes, for a few days or weeks, the propaganda is set aside and enemies work together on the destruction site trying to find people and bodies.

Why don’t humans see the benefit of cooperation rather than competition and endless war? Why don’t we embrace a different premise and dispense with the idea of individual nations all competing against each other? Why don’t we see ourselves as world citizens who live on one planet and as such should work together all the time to ensure that each citizen shares in the world’s bounty?

Eternal punishment for the wrong-doers!

Friends, as you know I am an atheist. Most of the time, this is a good thing to be because I can deal with reality, reality about what life is all about and what it isn’t.

But there is one thing about religion that I wish was true and that revolves around the concept of hell, a place where, according to religious mythology, every human goes who has spent their life on earth doing bad things and getting away with it.

What sort of people do I mean, you ask? Well, let’s take the soldiers of Gadaffi who, as you read this, are killing their own citizens who are largely unarmed. At least, in Egypt and Tunisia, the army remained neutral.

What about the people who ordered and are carrying out the torture of Bradley Manning who ICH reported this morning was in a catatonic state. And then there are the drug barons in Mexico who are beheading those daring to challenge their depraved drug empires, empires which sell products that bring misery and death to so many.

Then we have the Israelis who, since 1967, have occupied and brutalized the Palestinians, killed them and taken their land, starved them and demolished their homes, tortured them and imprisoned them without trial. None of them have been held to account.

But don’t forget the fathers and mothers who have committed incest with their own children. And what about the lowlife who traffic children for sex or who traffic women for slaves. And there are those who order or carry out torture, who get enjoyment from hearing the screams of people in incredible pain.

Julia is so happy stroking the Americans and they just love it!

Friends, the address by Julia Gillard, Australian Prime Minister, to the American Congress was a landmark in sycophancy and lack of balance.

By the time she’d finished, you’d have thought America was the most wonderful, greatest nation in the history of the world (which it frequently claims to be). She lavished compliment after compliment upon the ‘Home of the Brave’, laid it on thick and fast, and the Congress, being stroked so deliciously, rose to its feet and gave her ovation after ovation. It was nauseating!

At one stage I thought she was going to throw herself to her knees and beg America to let Australia become one of its States. Towards the end, her voice quivered dramatically. It was as though she was a deeply religious devotee speaking to GOD! In a way she was I suppose: the GOD OF WAR.

She forgot to mention a few things like: American imperialism, Guantanamo, torture, rendition, the number of civilians America has killed since WW2, the dropping of atomic bombs, the use of depleted uranium and cluster bombs, the American support of cruel tyrants, American duplicity and double-dealing, American military bases, its penchant for war, its war against American dissenters and protesters, etc.

As a result of her speech I expect the tramp of American military boots will echo around the Australian continent soon. We will inevitably become a giant military base and the Stars and Stripes will flutter everywhere signifying dominion over us.

“Why do foreigners dislike us Americans so much?”

“I dunno! Foreigners must be strange. Probably it’s because we are

exceptional,  born to rule and…and we have

the world’s biggest army too!”

Friends, yesterday, on ICH (the Premier News Site), I received a reply to a comment that I’d posted on one of the threads (U.S. Soldier Sentenced For Sport Killing).  The reply from Norman Harman was outstanding and I thought it was worthy of a post.

It does seem to put into words many of the things I’ve hinted at or said regarding the indoctrination of Americans. Norman uses slightly different words to me but leave no doubt as to what he thinks is the reason for America’s woes. His reply follows:

“American Exceptionalism, the American secular religion that roughly 85% of Americans believe in (most are so deeply ingrained with it they are unaware it’s a “belief,” to most Americans it is simply the “real world”), is the major culprit in understanding why and how most ordinary Americans can accept such horrific atrocities from their own soldiers and “leaders” with such equanimity.

1. America is the single moral nation in all of history.
2. America does not have to follow moral rules because America embodies morality itself.
3. To embody morality is to be morality, therefore, anything that America does, is, by definition, moral.
4. Any person or nation that opposes America or American interests, is, by definition, opposed to morality and, therefore, worthy of  destruction.

Libyan rebels can’t fight tanks and fighter jets with small arms.

Friends, Robert Fisk, journalist extraordinary, reported on ICH today that America is trying to find a way to arms the Libyan rebels. He made the following observation:

“But the Saudis remain the only US Arab ally strategically placed and capable of furnishing weapons to the guerrillas of Libya. Their assistance would allow Washington to disclaim any military involvement in the supply chain – even though the arms would be American and paid for by the Saudis.”

This means that America, which is supportive of the Saudi monarchy, a monarchy which has despotic power over the Saudi civilians, is going to arm the Libyan rebels who are trying to free themselves from Gadaffi, while the Saudi Royalty, despots themselves, are going to pay for it. Fisk goes on to say:

“After pouring troops and security police into the province of Qatif last week, the Saudis announced a nationwide ban on all public demonstrations.”

Saudi Arabia doesn’t want demonstrations on its soil because that would spoil the fabulously rich Royal Regime in which the Royals live lives of utter opulence (given the money that comes in from Saudi oil) while the rest of the population do it tough. The Saudi Royal Family have said they will completely crush any protests against their regime.
