Friends, when I first mooted the idea of the Anti-American Empire Movement (AAEM) I was just reacting to the disgust I felt for what was happening in the world because of the negative influence of American imperialism and immoral warmongering (things like torture, cluster bombs, depleted uranium, rendition, support for brutal dictators, invasions and occupation, etc).

So I wrote the post “Join The Anti-American Empire Movement!” more as a way to express my frustration. I never really thought it would amount to anything. To my surprise people reacted positively.

I then followed that up with “A Draft Charter for the Anti-American Empire Movement.“  In writing down the things I felt the movement should concern itself with, the many ideas I had seemed to come together. Subsequently, I’ve had many comments of support as well as ideas, all of which have been gratefully received to say nothing of the 16 members we have attracted thus far.

Since then I have revised the charter several times and it is included at the end of this post for your consideration. It is written in a Charter-type font to add to its seriousness. Please read it carefully and let me know if it truly reflects what you would like to see happen as the Movement grows.

Obviously the Movement is an exercise in People Power. It can only work if each person who joins is motivated to help change the world by helping to get rid of those promoting and supporting the corrupt American Empire. MOTIVATION has to equal EFFORT if we are to have any real effect.

Is being aware of everything that is happening in the world a good thing?

Does it make you feel powerful and enlightened or is it merely depressing?

Is your mind aware of your surroundings or is it always busily stressing?

Take an hour a day to hug a tree or to chase a butterfly or to appreciate the forest hues,

Lest you lose sight of the quiet, calming beauty of the natural world that surrounds you.

Friends, the Reuter’s headline was clear enough. But was it correct?

First of all it assumes that Obama is a leader. I dispute this. He is not a leader’s bum! He is a puppet on lots of strings.

First, he is a spokesperson for the Corporations, for the Pentagon, for the Armament Manufacturers, for the Jewish Lobby, for the Christian Fundamentalists, for Wall Street, and for the loonies who think that America should run the world. His leadership qualities could be written on the back of a very small postage stamp.

And who did this so-called ‘leader’ contact? According to Reuters, Obama called foreign leaders including British Prime Minister David Cameron, Jordan’s King Abdullah, and Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday to discuss the latest developments in Egypt. These are all bit players on the world stage.

As everyone knows, Cameron is merely a flunky of America and Jordan is one of the countries that have American-supported despotic regimes along with Yemen and Algeria and Saudi Arabia. Turkey once had relatively close relations with America/Israel but since the Aid Convoy disaster, it has cooled markedly.

It takes courage to speak out, to challenge the system, to accuse the wrongdoers!

“It is all lies. The US Govt is all lies. Why do you think that black bush is going after Wikileaks? They do NOT like their lies exposed.

The US Govt is going to extend the patriot act…the Draconian evil masterpiece that was most likely written before 9/11, was given a pass because “they” want to make it permanent.

We were just told by our media that there is only 9% unemployment in the US. That is such a load of crap!There is at least 20%! They lie through our media. They have all merged into one giant pot of crap.
Ruppert Murdoch ( So has Ailes sp? both were allowed to merger by our Govt) has helped destroy our once, at least sometimes, honest media and turned it into an idiot’s circus … on purpose…divide and distract. America is an equal opportunity employer as long as you are RICH and powerful.

Nothing much is manufactured here anymore except lies, theft, stupidity,aggression, murder weapons, war toys for the sick boys at the Pentagon and the WH, and more lies. Millions are out of work, millions are homeless, millions are sick and over or under weight ( yes, not all americans are fat even if the first lady seems to think so…. she doesn’t get out enough to see reality) from the terrible food that the population has been lied to about eating. The huge profits on high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, pesticides, outrageously cruel animal farms, violent earth policies, outrageous medical expenses for our population. People die here because they can’t afford medical care.People die here because they are homeless and poverty stricken. So many of us are defeated and depressed and scared. If you CAN afford a Dr. then you get RX for antidepressants to zombify you and make you docile and more depressed.

Our veterans who come back from these evil wars are so screwed up that many do not belong back into society. Many many kill themselves or abuse family members and others and or themselves. These kids who sign up to protect America do so mostly to get out of poverty. They actually think the Army is a step-up in their lives. Some soon find out that they are cannon fodder but by then it is too late. The Army OWNS you! Look at what has been done to Bradley Manning?

Head One: “We, for thirty years, have strongly supported Mubarak because he was a good friend of America and Israel and he did what we told him and kept his people in line using some of the techniques we use ourselves and…WHAT?”

Head Two: “Of course we welcome the sudden change in Egypt towards democracy and the freeing of the oppressed, brutalized Egyptian people and urge the Army who we own to hasten slowly and ensure that American influence in the region remains paramount and the Israeli Army continues to reign supreme.”

Head One: “…as I was saying, we always hoped that the despotic, cruel Mubarak regime would fall and democracy would take over but because things were rather delicately balanced in the region because of our oil interests and support for Israel…er…we couldn’t say it publicly…”

Head Two: “Though democracy may be beginning to take shape in Egypt it  does not mean that it should happen everywhere, oh, no! These things can’t be rushed. Everything has a time and place. We in America, the Greatest Nation in the History of the World, will decide the time and the place! Trust us!”

Hope and human flesh cannot beat American tanks and explosives!

Friends, over the past two weeks much has happened in Egypt. And much has been happening behind the scenes, secretive evil things.

The West, led by America, has been desperately trying to slow things down, trying to stop democracy happening in case it is the wrong democracy ( like that of Hamas), trying to get a provisional dictator in place (Suileiman), trying to stop the revolutionary movement in case American/Israeli control of the Middle East slips away, in case the oppressed horses bolt.

After prayers this morning (Egypt time), the greatest protest so far is supposed to get underway, one that includes a march to the State Television Building and to the Mubarak Palace. The Army has been warning that its patience has run out, that the protests can’t continue.

Is tonight to become a bloodbath when those who have been oppressed for 30 years to suit American and Israeli interests are slaughtered in Tahrir, now called Freedom Square?

If a bloodbath occurs, the finger of blame must point at imperial American and their Israeli collaborators!

But, of course, they’ve done it many times before. Without regret.

And practice makes perfect!

Friends, according to Reuters, a poll just conducted in the U.S. shows that most Americans are very dubious about democracy coming to the Middle East because the outcome of such democracy might damage America’s interests in the region.

So they obviously think that the interests of America are paramount and it doesn’t matter that many people, millions of them, live under brutal despots and suffer decades of oppression, starvation, brutality, etc. Such caring! Such Christian charity! Such selflessness!

Reuters is carrying another story about a proposal by Russia to send a U.N. Security Council delegation to the Middle East to examine the stalled road map. This has been frowned upon by the U.S. because it might upset delicate negotiations which it is pretending to be the honest broker in.

I think the phrase: SUIT AMERICA’S INTERESTS is the most hateful, despicable phrase I have to deal with as a blogger. I cringe every time I see it which is quite often especially if American leaders are speaking.

But, sadly, the poll result shows that the majority of American citizens think the same way, think that their interests should come first, that the world should be run to suit them.

My nation leads the Free World. Trust me!

Friends, as the Egyptians struggle to break the 30 year stranglehold that the despotic Mubarak/U.S. alliance has over their lives, something does strike me as funny in a bizarre kind of way.

Here we have the self-appointed Leader of the Free World trying to stop democracy from occurring  in Egypt while it spews out mountains of lies about encouraging a ‘transition towards democracy.’

But the kind of democracy that the U.S. wants is the same as the ‘democracy’ it created in the Palestinian Territories when it cancelled the election result that showed Hamas as the clear winner and installed the traitorous Abbas and the P.A. in its place.

The bottom line is that the U.S. is happy to allow democracy to flourish as long as the democracy fits in with America’s interests. It is also happy to support the most despicable and brutal of dictators as long as they don’t cut across America’s geopolitical ambitions. We see this in Gaza, in Yemen, in Jordan, in Saudi Arabia, etc.

There is only one word to describe this contradictory behavior: it’s called HYPOCRISY!

But this is not all! This Leader of the Free World, the Beacon on the Hill, the Greatest Nation in the History of the World led the world into the Global Financial Crisis. Yes, the unsupervised and unregulated greedy free market financial system which the U.S. promotes got itself into trouble and had to be bailed out by taxpayers. The words which best describe this is POOR JUDGMENT and POOR LEADERSHIP!

A CORPORATION negotiating with one of the world’s little people.

Friends, the disappearance of yet another independent news company into the maw of one of the giants of the MSM strikes yet another blow against any chance that we, the people, are going to get the media we deserve, the truth-telling media we need if democracy is going to function at all.

Big is beautiful in the boardrooms of the Corporations but to some of us “Big’ is beginning to look more and more like the emergence of BIG  BROTHER.

And, as Corporations get bigger and bigger and their numbers get smaller and smaller, we now have the ‘Too Big To Fail’ phenomenon beginning to afflict our world as if it doesn’t have enough afflictions already. And we taxpayers are now being squeezed by our Governments to pay for Corporate mistakes and foolish gambles.

And as the Corporations get bigger and fewer, so their influence on Governments increases and they begin operating like economic and political fiefdoms which start to operate by their own rules with little regard for the planet or its people. And the MSM, a part of the Corporate Cabal, is not going to attack other Corporations in case its advertising revenue is reduced.

You could just imagine how the MSM would deal with the fledgling ANTI-AMERICAN EMPIRE MOVEMENT that we are discussing. The whole of the Corporate, Capitalist world relies upon the current world political and economic system (led by the U.S.), however flawed, however corrupt, however shaky, remaining intact.

As soon as we put our heads above the parapet, they would be shot off.

Saint Hosni. It has a certain ring to it, don’t you think? Reminds me of a horse I once knew!

We here in the GREATEST NATION IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD take great care when choosing which leaders of other nations to support. They must be of strong character, firm but kind, fatherly to the extreme, honest and brave. They must also do as they are told because we’re not giving them chickenfeed to toe the line. We have had to print a lot of ‘new money’ to keep up with things, so generous are we!

Of course, sometimes very rarely we make mistakes and our chosen dictators are, well, not up to the mark. They go soft, start having nightmares over little things like torture.’Behaviour modification exercises’ is a better name don’t you think or the  ‘Tell Me Everything Tango’?
