DO YOU WANT SICK PEOPLE WHO DO THESE THINGS TO CONTROL YOUR WORLD?
Friends, the citizens of Egypt are doing what they can to break the iron-grip of Mubarak. America sits in the background urging gradual change and transition ‘NOW‘ (surely a contradiction), but the bottom-line is that it does nothing substantial. It just talks the talk!
Meanwhile pro-Mubarak elements, which are probably made up of armed policemen in plain clothes, continue to attack the protesters and many deaths and thousands of injuries have occurred, the exact number of which is unknown. Meanwhile, the Army, supposedly on side with the protesters, sits on its hands and allows the carnage to continue.
The U.S. could stop Mubarak and the Army in its tracks if it wanted to by stopping the 1.3 billion dollars it sends annually. But that would involve Walking the Walk, wouldn’t it?
So as the world and the U.S. procrastinate and delay, people are dying on the streets of Cairo and Alexandria and Suez, bit by bit, Mubarak gains the upper hand using terrorist tactics.
The self-appointed Leader of the Free World, America, is a fraud. It is allowing Mubarak to regain control so that it can retain its grip on the whole of the Middle East and all that oil.
Of secondary importance is keeping Israel as the pre-eminent military power in the region and supporting the treaties which exist between Israel and Egypt and Israel and Jordan, the only Arab Countries which have recognized the Israeli regime.
This means that six million Jewish Israelis are more important than 80 million Egyptians who are struggling for freedom and countless millions of other Arabs who are also under the heel of other U.S.-supported dictators and despots like the ones in Jordan, Yemen, etc.
What should the world do? We know that the U.S. only ever acts out of self-interest. We know that the U.S. is largely controlled by a corrupt Government, a cabal of wealthy oligarchs, a biased MSM and a gaggle of Christian Fundamentalists and right-wing shock jocks! We also know that American citizens can’t or won’t rebel no matter what their leadership does.
Well, it’s time that we, the rest of the world, the 94% of the world, took matters into our own hands. We can’t allow an Evil Nation of 300 million people to gain control of our world using a combination of military force and bribery. If we do, we deserve everything we get. After all, the U.S. treats its own people shabbily so imagine how we non-Americans would fare.
So I propose starting the ANTI-AMERICAN EMPIRE MOVEMENT! (AEM). I propose that every citizen in the world takes every opportunity to expose, protest and ridicule American hypocrisy, American imperialism, American warmongering against weak nations, American duplicity, American greed, American immorality, American corruption, American law breaking, American sickness and American insanity (both especially evident in the White House and the Pentagon).
We have put up with this farce for long enough. If Americans won’t cleanse their country or change its direction then we will have to do it for them.
Sure, in the beginning, our numbers will be small but, as more and more people realize the threat that America poses to the world, they will grow. The mighty oak tree came from a tiny seed.
Friends, what do you think about my fledgling idea. Does it have merit? What should I include in its charter? Would you join such a movement? Are other internet blogs willing to join us?
If we don’t act, eventually we will all become America’s slaves. The photo at the top of my sidebar shows the approaching reality.

And your idea about boycotting America products is great. Spamming politicians may not work so well because they ignore voters anyway (well, most do!).

It have to be a peacefull though. That system is ready for any violent protest. Educate American people, open theirs eyes because only with help of US citizens you’ll be able to accomplish victory.

Educating the American people is what I’ve been trying to do for years (without much success!). Perhaps this movement will have more success!

There needs to be 4 things to make such a movement a reality: (1) clarity of purpose, including some soul-searching about one’s motives, (2) organization around agreed-upon principles (meaning there must be a democratic element (3) a date when planned moves are to take place, so it isn’t just an endlessly discussed idea where not much happens; (4) that starting with the date, the effort be not just a protest but an ongoing plan of resistance, of which there are plenty of ways short of violence, as someone else has observed, that immediately mobilizes the already-in-place police state.
The key question is “how American Am I” meaning taking an honest look at the characteristics of a majority of Americans who have either outright supported the murderous Empire building over the last 50 years (starting in earnest with the CIA-sponsored overthrow of Mosaddegh in Iran) or earlier if one thinks of the CIA involvement in Italy and Greece just after the war and similar moves in Indochina around the same time. The qualities that one wants to question are: (1) overly developed patriotism (2) feeling that as an American one has some special ‘entitlement’ to gobble up the world’s resources, support dictators, crush the ‘other’ in independent countries we can’t seduce, pollute the ecosphere with abandon, and hold the false belief that the US is a democracy after seeing how easy it was for the 2000 and 2004 elections to be rigged. Those questions will be hardest for those who have to live in the USA, but others need to ask the same questions to begin to purge the worst aspects of the American character from their own.
Then on the strategy part, there is a lot that can be done short of violence, such as air traffic controllers mess up American airline flights, taxi drivers in European and other countries refusing to drive Americans, hotel personal ‘misplacing’ Amerians’ baggage or chambermaids slipping bugs in the freshly made beds, municipalities near American bases cutting off electricity and water, stopping cold on a certain day buying anything made or marketed by American companies (if all hold off on all such purchases for even a month, it will send a $billion message). Use one’s imagination, the message has to be “Yankee go home” or for those already at home, stay with the determination to reverse the noxious elements that have become America, in personal ways, such as your own soul-searching, and if you know someone personally who is in the police or military, urge them to do something else, talk to them and their families about ‘right occupation’, etc. Finally, those that find themselves in complex organizations like the military, think of Bradley Manning and figure out how to do something that slows down the juggernaut. The point is to be ready to overtly do whatever it is you have determined is non-violent but effective, maybe involving non-harmful, principled civil disobedience, in concert with others on a particular day, which I suggest would be May 1st (gives time for some oganizing and crafting statement of principles) I would also suggest learning how to send encrypted e-mail messages along the lines of Pretty Good Privacy. Lets make the idea grow bit by bit into an Internet metameme that goes viral. On May 1st to make it tangible.

the middle east as a whole is trying to go in a democratic direction and if it succeeds (which means anti u.s anti Israel governments as well as the peoples) i see the coming of the apocalypse in 2012 like some have predicted.

In December, Woodbridge Logistics, a subsidiary of New Hampshire-based C&S Wholesale Grocers, confirmed it filed a notice with the state Labor Department warning of the layoffs as soon as this Sunday.
The distributor stocks groceries for the troubled A&P and Pathmark supermarket chains. A&P filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in December.

David, You are a man of these times. This is exactly what is needed to begin to break the mindhold of propaganda that America – the brand – holds sway over every person on this Earth! It is so pervasive – it is without thought mostly.
I became aware some time ago that our U.S. Federal Government was part of the evil on this Planet and my Fed. Taxes that I paid went to the War Machine. It was enough to make me sick! So, for me to not pay them , but to have them pay me is a very big deal. When I do receive money from them, one of my first acts will be to make donations to certain Peace and Wilderness organizations.

Good idea, boycott American made items. One small problem, America doesn’t make much these days. Take cars as one example. We assemble them true, but most of the components are made in other countries. You cannot buy an American made TV set either.
What is really needed, and it has been my own self-appointed task, is to show the average American how they have been subjected to a true class war. The main reason that the rich are winning this class war is due to the old “divide and conquer” routine that has been used for decades if not longer.
Every member of the working class should get together in this country. They do not as they are constantly divided due to race, creed, religion, etc. I have been trying to get a national strike going ever since my enlistment in the Marines was over. I see countries like France hold national strikes and want the same here. No luck so far. Maybe with the economy, or what passes for such today, it just might finally be time for a true national strike.
This will take people putting aside their false divisions and waking up to the fact that we have been in a class war all of my life and even before I was born.
The false “ideas” of race, religion and any other false divisions needs to be overcome, I seriously do think it is possible, and I keep trying to convince all that I come in contact with.
Yes, I also believe in the dream of Dr. King, that we will have a society that judges people by the content of their character and NOT skin color or religious beliefs.
Personally, I have NO religion and prefer to remain a pagan/heathen. We do not need any sort of religion to be ethical/moral people.
America needs to get over the false “idea” that it is an “indispensable” or “exceptional” country. The world would get along just fine if there were no USA. We are no better, and no worse than any other people on this planet. In my experience, all around the world, people are people, no matter their “differences”. We all have the same basic needs; food, clothing, and shelter. The vast majority of all people also have similar wants. They want to provide a decent home for them and their families. They want to provide decent transportation for them and they want their children to have as least as good a life as they have, preferably a better life than they have. All we need do is treat all people the way we want to be treated. Next time you go anywhere, smile at those you encounter, say “hello” to them. You just might be the first, possibly the only, person to do this to them. It just could make their day a bit nicer, yours also. You never know, it could even start a trend. Imagine, a world where people were actually polite and nice to each other. Am I dreaming? Maybe, but I will keep doing my best to get people to realize that the working class needs to get together and quit the false divisions that have made our country such a mess.

In 2009, China took delivery of 209 Tons of Gold. They are quickly becoming the largest holder of Gold, passing India. Why are they amassing so much Gold? Ahhh grasshopper, here’s another thought that’s way out on the limb but not as conspiracy driven. I mean, we do have the proof that China is hording Gold these days. Well. this is what I told the interviewer from the Street.com (Alix Steele) I truly believed that this Gold buying (and Silver!) was just another step in China’s plans to have their currency front and center in the world in a few years. Their goal, when they signed the currency swap agreements with other countries, was to 1. Remove dollars from the transaction, and 2. Gain a wider distribution for their currency. Now. the baby steps that China is taking to get their currency used by more people, will get a HUGE boost, should they decide that when they get around to floating the renminbi, that they back it with Gold & Silver! Talk about making your currency ATTRACTIVE! The hard money investors of the world would flock to renminbi.

Carlos, keeper of the fire, indeed! Something organic got triggered inside of me, like a connection to nature, connecting to my Egyptian brothers and sisters and their resolve. It showed me in a tangible way what I have never “experienced.” What it is like when ordinary people, together, in one voice say, “NO!’ No, to in essence many of the same issues Americans are facing. We haven’t even seen the worst of it. This morning’s news was how Obama is going to balance the budget by gutting Trillions from programs for impoverished Americans! And Labor Unions! I see where this is headed! We may need to draw from what lessons Egypt has shown us. The wisdom of knowing that these are the SAME people as in the 50′s on up is welcome in the modern day version of the international (coffee) house : )

Please count me in… Although as a Brit, I feel our government is equally responsible for what’s going on around this planet. No power can exist or be maintained without it’s loyal mercinaries…and the UK has been loyal to ‘American interests’ ever since the demise of ‘Great Britain’s’ own empire during the 20th century.
It is refreshing, heartening and motivating to hear people of like mind…and who are willing to speak out!

Carlos, you are right about our enemies being corrupt and ruthless. That is all the more reason why we should begin without fanfare, hide in the shadows so to speak, strike when we are sure of our target.
Once our numbers grow, then we can start to flutter our wings a bit, perhaps even accumulate some money to advertise. What we don’t want in the beginning is to get caught up in legal proceedings. That’s what our enemies want and they have unlimited finances. We don’t!
