After writing the last post, I admit to feeling much like this baby elephant.
The crocodile represents perfectly all the cruel, greedy, insatiable forces currently controlling and manipulating our world. The baby elephant represents the ordinary people of our world. It is a totally unequal contest.
This particular story does have a happy ending. The rest of the elephant family entered the waterhole, dealt with the reptile, and rescued the baby.
In our human world, the crocodile always wins.
David, I feel like that!!! Thanks for the visual : P
It is comforting to know there is an elephant family ready to save that babe.

But who is going to save us from the Crocodile, Grace? If only the decent humans could get together and overthrow the ruthless crocodile men!

The decent humans, too many of them anyway are on medications and or dumbed down by the constant prattle of the MSM. Everyday I look forward to someone, or some revelation that will end the onslaught. Off topic again, but did read about Helen Thomas?

76, I only keep up with as much MSM as I happen to see while managing my way through life. I get the flavor of what is out there without having to commit to much of anything. However, something you said really got to me. “The decent humans, too many of them anyway are on medications” I recently underwent what I have flippantly called, a pharmaceutical lobotomy. IOW, a change of medications that caused a change in my personality and life and ..probably obviously my thinking and writing. David, I too may either take more of a break or not a break at all but strengthen my intellect by writing more. The recent years I have been writing, I have seen a marked improvement in my spoken word abilities, so all is not lost. Thanks again for the thinking person’s forum for such cutting edge topics as pharmaceuticals and the peasant’s brain.

David, that line is priceless. So simple.

Hello All -
I have long held a lot of respect for elephants. They are intelligent, sensitive and kindly. I once saw a nature show that featured a segment with a elephant taking some water out of a small pond with it’s trunk. What made it special was that next to it’s right hind foot a tortoise walked right up to the elephant. As the elephant CONTINUED TO DRINK it lifted its foot and gently moved the tortoise out of harm’s way so as to not accidentally crush it. I have always remembered this example of kindness toward another species. There are numerous other examples in the animal world. The other notable feature of elephants is that they are essentially a matriarchy. Perhaps that can account for the nature of their society. The bull elephants are kept out of much of the daily lives and upbringing of the young. They seem to be regarded as good for procreation and protection and little more.
I’m afraid that the the human version of crocodiles is very much in the ascendancy. The Masters of the Universe see a very hard time coming (mainly of their own creation) and their solution is to become even meaner in their obsession with control and plunder. The concept of co-operation means nothing to them. In the face of this likelihood I think more and more of the value of communitarianism. My great hero, Einstein, said that you can’t fix a problem by using the same level of thinking which created that problem in the first place. After the betrayal of all of us by Barry the Liar and his Washington pals I am further convinced that the oligarchy will never change their way of thinking. It works much too well for the elites. It just doesn’t work well for everyone else or elephants.

Bruce, you said many insightful things, this is one of them. So true, so true.

76-water, I did read about Helen Thomas. Good on her for speaking out and telling it as it is. I wish there were more like her to help break the stranglehold the Jews have on freedom of speech.
Bruce, your point about the matriarchy is a valid one. Testosterone does seem to be a troublesome hormone.
The oligarchy will never change its way of thinking as long as 6.5 billion humans allow themselves to be manipulated by them. The CrocodileMen need to be taken down, drummed out of town or, better still, hung or shot.
