David, where to start? The changing faces of America. I just watched a movie that I can only recommend to everyone. It’s called Cecil B. Demented. It’s about the greatest show on Earth – the one we are living! It is about the power and I mean Power. Behind the throne. It is about the story of history that we keep re-living over and over, only the history books keep getting “burned” so we don’t know we are reliving the tragedy! Thus, the changing face of the greatest show on Earth! Which is more like the story of Dorian Gray whose face never ages, but the portrait of him that hangs in the attic shows his true grotesque, murderous face! Enjoy the show.
An aside note, I found the movie after watching, “This movie will never be rated” About the secretive MPAA and the motion picture ratings and politics. Another, well worth watching.

Grace and Coco, America has had many faces since it began. Since WW2 the real face has become, as you say, like that of Dorian Gray.
Yet there are still Americans, most of them, who see what they want to see, believe what they want to believe with no regard for the facts. I guess that’s why the country is in a rut, why it’s sinking.

David, correction and apologies. In the omg category. I am famous for falling asleep during movies. I fell asleep during Cecil B Demented and awoke for what was Oliver Stone’s, South Of The Border. That is the film I was referring to that ties toegether politics and reality.

Their leadership has turned really devious, Gazza, ever since the Soviets went bankrupt. They got a sniff of the possibility of world control and it went to their heads.
Australia will regret this union eventually.
