This is not God’s eye. It is a helix.
Friends, hang onto your hats! Today is probably the most important day in the history of the world. Why, you ask?
Stephen Hawking, the famous astro-physics genius, has told us in his latest book that there is no God! He has said (Stephen that is) that the Big Bang was merely the consequence of the law of gravity.
“Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist,” he writes in The Grand Design. “It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the universe going,” added the wheelchair-bound expert.
Now look, you can’t say I didn’t warn you. I have been banging on about the falsity of religion for years and finally, here is proof. Stephen, who despite suffering from a serious handicap for most of his life, has carefully considered how the universe came about. His intellect is so immense that it makes me feel dizzy.
After all these years of believing in God and the Devil, Stephen has set the record straight. And what does this mean? It means that from today, across the world, millions of clerics are out of a job. Bishops and Cardinals in palaces are packing their bags and putting their robes in secondhand clothing stores.
There are all manner of fancy hats and red slippers which will no longer be worn to say nothing about billions of pictures and ornaments of virgin Mary and Christ on a cross and prayer beads which will be worthless.
All over the world for rent or for sale signs will be appearing on churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, which will change the whole landscape. All over the world, politicians will be forced to stop saying: “God is on our side.” In graveyards, monument makers will have to change their expensive creations.
As well, all the wars between Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, etc, should stop now that god has been exposed as a non-event. People everywhere will feel relief that no one is constantly watching them, cataloging all their sins. They will be freed from the fear of Judgment Day and Hell. They will be freed from clerics deeply dipping into their wallets and mumbling about life after death.
It should be the day we leave primitive superstition behind, the day we start living in the real world, the day that all humans have been released from the massive fraud that religion is.
Go out and celebrate this day. Rejoice. Freedom is at hand.
P.S. Now all we have to do is get rid of capitalism.

Nice thought. But the churches wont be closing. Nor are the wars going to end any time soon. No David, a constant supply of deceptive propaganda will keep the masses in check.

76-water, perhaps the Bishops, Rabbis, Imams, etc, will stone Stephen Hawking or they might call on God to send a plague to strike him down or turn him into a pillar of salt.
When you think of the numbers of clerics who are in on the con, they must be in the millions. Are they going to give up their fraud? Unlikely. Are the victims of the fraud going to give up their delusions? Unlikely.

Today is the first day of the rest of our lives..literally. Wow, today is the day. I guess we are old enough to hear this news. No parents to cover our ears, now. Silk robes will be sold on clearance sale. Lots of little old perverts out of a job.
True spirituality will persist, because humans have a spirit and we should be concerned with doing good because there is genuine cause and effect. Choices we make affect others, so we must contemplate and genuflect desire to do good.
David, I hold my own opinions based on my experiences. I have had out of body experiences and have seen the other side. This is where my confidence springs from.
Thank you for delivering the good news! This Should set the masses free. That is, if they have the desire to be free. Actions follow desire.
Peace on Earth. Good will towards all.

“True spirituality will persist…” Thats quite a statement, and how true. Beyond our own perceptions of the world we live in are the perceptions of how we feel, such as guilt, fear, pride, compassion, ect. These too are a part of our reality. I’ve wondered from an early age why people said it was all in your head. Anyway, I agree spirituality will persist whether (god) is involved or not. Peace and goodwill to all.

I prefer to get my ‘spirituality’ from a bottle, 76-water. Rum is a nice drink in winter while gin in a mixer in Summer is fine!

“Now all we have to do is get rid of capitalism” David, around here, the shopping malls are fancier than most of the churches. The One-Day Sale at Macy’s brings throngs of adherants. Remember, this is what Americans are now, Consumers. Credit debt has replaced guilt and sin.
One American uses enough energy that we each need hundreds of slaves to fuel our lifestyles! Guilt, much? We are too guilty to become too humble, too soon. I am an American, even if somewhat aware. I am as guilty as the next poor stiff. “Evolve or die.” That is the latest bumper sticker that seems to sum it all up.
Thank you, Stephen Hawking! I love the new news. It will be interesting to watch the reactions to this news.

there will be no reaction………….because not too many people even know about stephen hawking. and unfortunately, he isn’t ‘god’. and the question begs to be asked: who/what created gravity?……………………

Exactly my thoughts! How can people that seem so intelligent just shrug their shoulders at the things they can’t explain, yet stand strong and self-assured that God couldn’t possibly exist??
The only explanation is that they don’t want God to exist.

Ray, our world during the last six or seven thousands years has been filled with gods, thousands of them. They all came about because mankind wanted a god to exist.
Hopefully we will reach a stage where humans can become mature enough to accept there is no god. That will enable man to use his intelligence to perhaps seek a new, reality-based direction.
Big Brother has come along – just in time to replace God!

Grace, it should be welcomed, this news. It will liberate many people from the tyranny of religion, the fear that religion brings to believers. And it would seem that God’s Children are fatherless.
Your comment about Big Brother replacing god is a distinct possibility!
Coco, humans find it difficult to think beyond the concept of a ‘creator’. As our knowledge grows (assuming we don’t have a nuclear war) we will understand more and perhaps we will move beyond the simplistic concept of some mystical creator.

Good for Hawking. Religions needed to go away. The belief in a sky-daddy who would either burn you in hell or take you to heaven needed to go away.
Now if only the nut in Florida who wants to have international Koran burning day could get the news!!! Sheesh!!
The study of physics seems to be expanding or am I just paying more attention now a days? If the universe creates itself and we are part of that creation then does that make us creators? I’m not referring to what we invent with our minds.. I’m referring to some energetic or vibrational force within us that actually interacts with nature in the highest and best way possible (if we can recognize it and allow it.) But it seems that we have been blocked from our spiritual side. Why do we have 5 senses instead of 6 or 10 or more? Why do we have so many DNA strands and only a couple of them seem active?
There are so many questions to go forward and explore. Maybe when old superstitions fall away we can open up to even greater exploration. There are more natural laws than just the law of gravity that need to be explored, cause and effect is one of them. Exciting times!

Kathy- Maybe you could check out a recent book written by a physicist (genetics). Slave Species Of god. I’ve mentioned it before. I know you said, “I don’t know what to think about that.” I don’t blame you, there is so much garbage available, no one wants to waste their time. At the web site you may download the intro and 1st chapter. Monkeys use more of their DNA than humans do. Why?! http://www.slavespecies.com

76-water, Maybe I was too rough on the slave species guy. He seems genuinely interested in finding out information and putting a story together. He doesn’t appear to be very egotistical. It isn’t just Gurus that I used to fall prey to, it was also charismatics. I think he might fall into the later category. It is ok to gather our own information. It is ok to enjoy hearing what he has to say. Just beware if you are asked to go, “to the next level.”
Peace.

I was orphaned once. My Guru, Great sky father – died. Yes, he simply died. No golden boats to take us all with him. His humanness may have been the biggest disappointment of all. He said that he was God incarnate. Some people had dedicated their entire lives to His cause. Disowned their earthly families – that was part of following him. Shocking loss when he passed.
As a result, I was gifted with the ability to spot these Guru types – from up to a mile away.
I have a quivering red flag around the slave species guy. He might be right. It might be alot of fun to go hear him speak, but beware the messenger. That is all I have to say.
Peace and love, all.

Aw, David. It seems true, what they say: Absolute power corrupts, absolutely. : ).

Grace, there seems to be something in us that wants to have a leader. Its part of the con perhaps for the people to be programmed to follow someone, anyone who seems strong, charismatic, intelligent.
76, I looked at the site you mentioned. The book intro wouldn’t download but I was able to listen to part of the interview before it got too noisy in my room. I will try to listen again later. Thanks for the link. Peace to all of you…..
