IS NOT:
more weapons, more cars, more televisions, more shares, more wars, more corporations, more clerics, more pharmaceuticals, more breast implants, more politicians, more sport, more sexual deviancy, more space exploration, more porno movies, more violent video games, more banks, more lawyers, more drugs, more conceit, more childcare centres, more nightclubs, more prostitutes, more mines, more oil, more newspapers, more shockjocks, more policemen, more psychologists, more chemists, more supermarkets…
What the world really desperately needs is lots and lots more…
LOVE!

The fact is,,,, people LOVE all of the above.

I couldn’t agree with you more….material things make us feel special for all but a few moments…actual love and respect boosts up our self esteem and helps us spread more love…it’s all a huge cycle…

Helmy, we have to be careful when we use the word ‘love’. I might love my old house but that’s not the kind of love I’m talking about. The love I’m talking about is shown in the image.
Billykat, unfortunately the love cycle has too many barriers and dead ends: greed, religion, selfishness, racism, nationalism, gender inequality, etc.

David, I understood what you meant initially
my point was that people love those material things above anything else, that is the problem

Yes, we spend too much time loving things instead of each other!

Jeannie, unfortunately ‘things’ can’t love us back which is something that most people don’t understand. Only other humans and perhaps some of our pets can love us back though that kind of reciprocation in our me-first world is becoming more and more difficult to find.
