This was the extent of the damage when a Hamas rocket hit Ashkelon.
Israeli retaliation killed a Hamas Commander and wounded many.
Issa Batran, a rocket maker, was blown to pieces when the IDF paid him a visit and fired a missile at his caravan. His crime? A rocket was fired into Israel which broke some glass, damaged a couple of vehicles, but injured no one.
The Israelis, while they were assassinating Issa, also used their American warplanes to fire at a Hamas training camp and some smuggling tunnels injuring other Palestinians.
Friends, Issa Batran was an unlucky man. First of all, he was born a Palestinian. Next, he lived his whole life under brutal Israeli occupation and/or siege.
Then, when Israel carried out its genocide on Gaza the Xmas before last, the IDF killed his wife and all his children along with more than 1,400 other Palestinians (the IDF lost only 9 soldiers). Perhaps that’s what motivated Issa to fire a rocket at Israel. Perhaps he was also upset that Gaza is still under siege. We will never know the true reason.
But what motivates the Israelis to desire totally disproportionate revenge? It seems to go against the long held belief that ‘an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth’ is appropriate. The Israelis seem to want a thousand eyes for one of theirs. It seems extreme.
Then, if we consider 9/11 when 3,000 people were killed, the Americans, wanting payback, in the last decade have killed well over a million Muslims (the true figure will never be known because they don’t count civilian casualties). Tit for tat no longer applies. Some nations are heavily into massive overkill.
Perhaps nuking Iran is the next step in our downward progression, a progression which began with the horror of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Perhaps they (the Israelis and Americans) will destroy the whole population (but not the oil resources which are safe under the ground).
Where will the lust for disproportionate revenge killing end?
Total annihilation?
P.S. Reuter’s Headline: “BP could start “static kill” on well Monday says official.” Even a well faces the possibility of being killed!
P.P.S. This post signals my intention to continue on with Dangerous Creation. With your support, we will grow and become a force to be reckoned with.

You know, I would not doubt too much that Israel was responcible for firing that rocket. They have been caught planting rockets in Lebanon pointed at Israel on timers. Israel wants land, and right now the Palistinians art in the way. The Israelis that have been born there in the past 20-30 years have grown up (knowing) that Palistinians are not human in the sense that they, (the chosen) are human; animals on 2 feet. I believe this is why the can kill without remorse. This ideaology is destroying the world. Glad you kept the blog.

76-water, any group of people that believe that they are superior to others put no value on the others’ lives. It used to happen when conquering armies put their enemies to the sword or killed all the males or firstborn. Religion emphasizes the divide between nations and groups, needlessly so.
I know how much time you put into this blog, 76-water from your ISP address. Thanks!

Dear David
I am a regular visitor to your blog for about two years, I have never commented here, we may not share the same belief (I’m a Muslim), but we share everything else, and my heart is always with you, you are a great soul in the wilderness.
Forgive my poor English, it is not my mother tong.
You owe me at least this comment to tell you that a Muslim brother loves you and support your cause, my hat is up for you.
To answer your previous post (I know you don’t need an answer now) let me tell you my opinion about the declining of comments:
1- As you have mentioned regarding the spreading use of Facebook, Twitter, etc
2- There is no new American war on “Terra” in order to motivate people to comment on, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somal, and Sudan are old news whatever happening there.
However, you are doing a great work, I wish to you and to your valuable, respectable commentators here all the best.

Helmy, welcome to our blog. We accept everyone here at Dangerous Creation as long as they seek peace. I must admit to being surprised by the number of folk who visit the blog but, until my last post, never comment. Hopefully they won’t be so shy in the future.
Your English is fine and you communicate quite well. I hope you’ll visit again soon.

David, thank you for your prompt reply.
As for the topic at hand, I read in the news that a great soul (like yours), the goal keeper of the Spanish World Cup Football team is going to join the “Freedom 2″ flotilla, heading to Gaza after Ramadan.
You may notice also that the “Palestinian Disaster” is shrinking day after day, deliberately, and now it became to be just an “Embargo on Gaza”, as if everything will be alright if the Israelis lift it a little bit.
With people like you, Truth will never die, Justice will be always known.
Love and Peace.

Helmy, I have been championing the Palestinian cause for at least a decade. I am also familiar with the Israeli propaganda machine and the pro-Israeli bias in the MSM.
While America backs Israel, justice will never eventuate!

David, yes, I know how much great efforts you have done to support peace and justice, and I believe that in spite of all what we see in our world, wars and despair, but the human life will develop, although very very slow, but sure, by more knowledge and more understanding of what are us, and what we have to do in order to live together in harmony, this may take thousands of years, so, be patient

76-water,e
Thank you for your kind comment, I will look forward to your valuable thoughts.
BTW, I re-read my first comment here and discovered a funny mistake, instead of saying “I owe you”, I said “You owe me”, sorry David

The death of Issa Batran was barely mentioned in the MSM here in the US. If he had been an Israeli it would have been headline news.
There are two sets of rules for what makes news and Issa not being rich, famous or lucky enough to live in a country that is an ally of the US is not considered news worthy.
The details of his life were, of course, never mentioned. That all palestinians have reasons for the attacks they make on Israel are also never considered worth mentioning in news reports.
We don’t get news here in the US, we get an endless steam of propaganda.
With sites like your some truth filters through.
Thank you!

“…..any group of people that believe that they are superior to others put no value on the others’ lives……”
Therein lies the conundrum David. SO MANY millions of people believe in this “Jewish Book Of Lies” and further, there are not one but 3 religions based on this collection of nonsense, myth, fiction and wishful thinking. The lunacy is beyond compare. Many denounce the terrorist state of Israel yet still cling to their all time greatest lie – the bible.
Unless and until this nasty book is cast aside and a new belief of unity emerges founded upon the brotherhood of humanity as ALL children of God, we will NEVER see peace.
And we best not wait around for a mythical superhero to come floating down out of the sky to save us either, because, I got news for ya. The SAME people wrote that book too! There have been 16 crucified savior god-men in the history of religion. Which one are YOU waiting for? The ONLY thing original to christianity is its alleged founder.
The history of the Jews as a people is one of deceit, treachery, debauchery, con, disloyalty, corruption and greed. When will the world awaken.

A little bit of research informed me that though Jews only make up 2% of the population of Americans 33% of our supreme court justice’s are Jewish and well over 55% of congress is Jewish with many who hold dual citizenship with Israel. So, a hard friggin nut to crack. Part of the Declaration of Independence states “we believe all men were created equal”. What happened? Somebody forget to tell the Israelis?

Isreal seems to have a license to always do whatever it wants ,there hypocrisy must be called into question over everything they do . But then again they learned so well from there biggest supporter and cohort the U S A . David your decision to keep going is appreciated by me and many people here it is one of the ways for thoughtful constructive changes in our world so thank you for keepin on .

Helmy, there is no drama. I understood what you meant.
Jeannie, the filtering of American news is a major tragedy. On another tack, would you consider posting one of your poems on D.C.? If you have an image you’d like to use with it, include it when you email it in. If you don’t, I’ll find something that will suit.
Amerika, I agree that no ‘God’ is going to descend from the heavens and save us. We have to save ourselves from ourselves!
76-water, it’s a human trait to imagine that your group or race is superior to others. It is a silly notion that we have to destroy.
Jeff, Israel and America seems to spur each other on. The problem is that neither of them have the vision or maturity to head in a peaceful, compassionate direction.
They are both more interested in imperialism and killing!
Peace to all!

An eye for an eye is the Code of Hammurabi – NOT the code of Israel.
The code of Israel is “take whatever you can steal and complain and point fingers at others when you can’t steal everything you want.”
