Friends, unsurprisingly, Netanyahu is refusing to allow an international investigation into the Israeli massacre which took place on the lead ship in the aid convoy, the Marvi Marmara.
Israel is consulting with its major sponsor, the U.S. to see how an investigation can be rigged to show that Israel will not be shown to be responsible for the nine activist deaths caused by multiple gunshot wounds, some in the back and some in the top of the head.
Fortunately there were no deaths on the Rachel Corrie because the people on board that vessel gave Israel assurances that they would not resist the commandos when they illegally boarded the vessel in international waters and forced the vessel to go to the Israeli port of Ashdod.
The real investigation that should be carried out is to examine America’s role in the massacre, a role that started nearly sixty years ago.
I mean, what happened on the Marvi Marmara was not caused by events over the last few weeks. Israeli war crimes and atrocities have been occurring for sixty years, all of which have been largely supported by America.
The result of this mindless and unprincipled support, to say nothing about the flood of armaments which has given Israel the fifth most powerful army in the world, has led Israel to believe it is above the laws which govern all other nations. Resultantly it does whatever it likes.
Israel and America should both hang their heads in shame, Israel as the perpetrator and America as the accomplice.
Meanwhile Obama dithers about and still refuses to condemn the massacre of unarmed activists. Clinton has mumbled something about the blockade of Gaza being ‘unsustainable’. Hilary, not only is it unsustainable, but it is a situation of collective punishment and is therefore a war crime!
The U.S. is no longer any ‘Beacon on the Hill’ assuming it ever was. Imperial America is a supporter of despots and despotic kings, a supporter of terrorists when it suits its purposes, a supporter of invasions and occupations (led by itself) and the major supporter of the world’s most brutal, occupying nation (Israel).
Let’s have an international investigation. And let’s put Israel and America in the dock!

Reading this morning George Galloway Viva Palestina etc are going to organise a sea convoy and one on land to arrive at same time. Hoping to gather 60 ships, so that should keep the “elite” thugs busy.

Problem is, John, when you’re dealing with religious crazies like the Israelis, you can never work out just what they might do rather than give in to international pressure.
It’s their way or the highway no matter who they hurt or kill!

And here it is Iran has offered to escourt future aid ships going to Gaza. If the Iranian leader meant what he said, well this is a good move for Iran. Feeling under threat of war this would definetly be a (your move) to Israel. If true, Iran would have the world behind her. How would Israel play this out? How would the USA play this out? Desperate times call for desperate measures.

The Rachel Corrie was not terrorised b/c the zionist regime had already made the point it wanted to get across with the Mavi Marmara.
I believe that point was Israel obeys no laws, except perhaps its’ own.
The nightmare video released here in USA on Thursday May 10 that showed the execution of
of the 19 year old American was shock & sadness, followed by anger at my USA’s complete abandonment of Dogan.
Another point was to show Israel’s comprehensive control of mass mainstream media.
An article today referenced Haaretz reporting that the Israeli gov. took two months to plan for the attack & media handling.
If Israel’s goal was to subvert peace talks it is achieved.
If Israel’s goal was to warn the world that no one may expect mercy from the most moral army in the world, or the only democracy in the Middle East that is achieved.
If it wanted activists to rethink their strategy that is achieved but an avalanche cannot be recalled once it starts.
IMHO the avalanche started with Gaza ’08-09 aggression and with the latest outrage this avalanche is in earnest and will not be denied.

Hamas has asked Iran to stay out of it, fearing being tarred by rabid neo/zio Iran haters.
Don’t worry about what Israel will do, if the Flotilla is any standard to go by they will tell their citizens in plain Hebrew what they intend to do, no matter what law or moral principle it violates or who it offends.
Afterall to the Israelis, the whole world has turned against them, and they find it incomprehensible. Why not since they’ve been acting aggressively, immorally and illegally for well over seventy years.
I have to agree that USA is a monster, having grown up here I’ve only recently learned how to understand my country’s policies from an indigenous viewpoint, keepin mind the full spectrum of propaganda & mind control.
I knew when Sept.11 happened that it couldn’t have happened w/o inside gov. help.
I never thought we’d invade & occupy Afghanistan or Iraq or even allow Saddam to be executed.
After Katrina, we knew we were on our own.
Then we had high hopes for Obama, we never seem to learn.

Kate, Israel is like a cancer: if left to its own devices, it gets bigger and more virulent. The U.S. has helped it to grow because it suited America’s own plans for world domination.
They both have become monsters, each one feeding off the other, each one using military force to achieve their objectives while they use duplicity and propaganda to hide their true objectives.
Obama is making some anti-Israel noises at the moment but whether it’s for show or whether he’s serious remains to be seen.
