The stern is missing. Who did it? And why?
Friends, while we wait for the outcome of the Aid Flotilla Crisis and the Nuke Iran Crisis, we have, for our pleasure, the Korean Crisis.
Now, as you would know, the Korean crisis occurred when America, fearing it would be overrun by Communism, went into bat on the Korean Peninsula decades ago. It had more luck there than it did in Vietnam and succeeded in dividing the country into two sections: North and South Korea. The two sections are officially still at war.
In accordance with American policy, the Yanks built military bases in the south and maintain a heavy military presence there as they do in most other places in the world. The current crisis came about when, regrettably, a South Korean warship was sunk with the loss of more than forty crew. The ship, or what was left of it, was raised (see above) and, after much examining, it has been concluded, surprise, surprise, that North Korea was responsible. But did the ship stray into North Korean waters? Who would know?
This incident has caused Mother Hen, Hilary Clinton, to become all menopausal and she is running around the world stage urging everyone to stick a dagger into North Korea, especially its leader who looks as if he died six months ago but just won’t lie down.
Now, unsurprisingly, I take a different view of the situation to most. I reckon if America hadn’t got involved with South Korea in the first place that there would not be a divided country and the two halves would not be threatening each other with annihilation. To me, it’s another classic case of America creating more problems than it solves (look at Iraq for instance).
But what can America really do to punish the North? North Korea is already impoverished and more sanctions will only create more collective punishment and more hatred. And America won’t want to use a military option because North Korea can fight back with its nukes and we all know that America never fights anyone who can fight back and give the Yanks as good as they dish out.
So all that is left is for Hillary to huff and puff and vow undying support for South Korea which will only continue the division that hurts both parts of Korea. Surely, most of you have seen the heart-breaking footage of annual meetings between people from North and South Korea.
Why doesn’t America do everyone a favor and get out of South Korea and allow the two sides to reconcile which, given time, they probably would if America wasn’t constantly beating the war drums and dividing people.
While America is at it, why doesn’t it get out of all the other countries which it is manipulating for its own selfish ends and attend to the massive problems it has at home and its enormous debt?

well, north korea has just scapped an agreement to prevent naval clashes with the south…….
things are getting interesting……………..n’est pas?

Perhaps this will be the warm-up act before Israel nukes Iran, Coco. Interesting is one word. Frightening is another!

The torpedo that hit the ship was made in GERMANY. I could be wrong, but I doubt North Korea is getting weapons from Germany. We DO know, however, that ISRAEL has 3 German made submarines, which they got for FREE. Naturally.
As someone pointed out on another blog, you don’t need to be an Oxford scholar to guess who’s been slipping through the Suez Canal with German torpedos AND who has the world record for false flag activity. It doesn’t take a genius to see what’s going on here.

I think you’ve got it. False flag was my knee jerk gut instinct. Right as the aid floatilla is about to reach Gaza..Boom! and now everyone is looking at Korea and this all ties in with our justifications for Iran. I think that is the other part of this. The rhetoric for evil and Dangerous Iran is ramping up coincidingly. Hillary is running around the planet like a mean, menopausal chicken. All due respect to menopausal chickens.

yes, USA should bring all the troops home and while we are at it, what the hell do we even need a standing army for?
I argue we do not need to be on a constant war footing, there should be vigilance (I guess, being no no expert).
I argue that standing armies are simply too irresistable to pols. especially when their ratings are slipping. What better way to stay in office than fearmongering?
USA’s blood soaked history is not even known to average USAn. Yes we know there was a civil war, but constitutionally the south, imho, had every right to secede. We all know it really wasn’t about slavery, they (north) were afraid of ending up like Europe (Balkanization).
That goal, was it achieved? No, the south resents the north to this day and would opt out if it could, along with Alaska, Texas, Hawaii, California & Arizona to begin with.

Whomever was responsible, they’ll be a cover-up, and not long after, it will be forgotten. Like so many other things before. Case closed.

David,
Let me see if I understand you. When the US uses its military it is illegal and immoral. When it doesn’t it is scared. You don’t seem to recognize any other options. You are very short sighted. We aren’t taking action against N. Korea because we want someone else to use their nukes. You see, one option is to trick every nation into using all there nukes. That way when obama gets our stock down to just a couple of thousand (yeah its part of the grand scheme) nobody will be able to stop us from wiping out australia! We could do it without nukes, but the girl scouts are busy selling cookies at this time…

Just a reminder, Keep an eye on Isreal. I’m posting on 5-27-10. We should know shortly if the aid gets delivered or not. BTW N Korea is calling BS, but don’t mess with us. China anyone? Hillary is not setting a good example.

Americagulag, thanks for that bit of information about the torpedo and the subs. The plot thickens.
Grace, there are so many dangerous situations on the boil it’s hard to know which one to concentrate on.
Kate, it seems to be in America’s blood, this penchant for war and killing. I suppose the fact that most kids see guns in their homes from an early age helps this instinct.
LR, that depends on whether the false-flag scenario is factual.
76-water, Hillary, as a representative of the Arms Industry in the U.S., is doing her job superbly. “War, war war,” should be her theme song.

Q, pity the girl scouts busy when the US of A was in Vietnam.

John, Q is a typical American (unlike most of the Americans who contribute to my blog).
I publish his comments every now and again because he’s quaint and is a genuine gun-toting, bible-reading, good ‘ol boy who thinks America is the cat’s pyjamas!
