Friends, having thought further about things, I’ve decided to start up my old blog Seeking Utopia again, at least the later, more peace-inducing aspects of it ( which began on March 24, 2008 but hasn’t had much attention since).
The reason? I guess, for some time, I’ve been trying to mix controversy and tranquility on Dangerous Creation and perhaps, like oil and water, they don’t mix that well.
This means that, for the time of the trial, Dangerous Creation will be for dealing with nasty, contentious world issues and Seeking Utopia will provide a retreat for those who are sick of the world and want to immerse themselves in niceness, in beauty, in harmony, in peace for a time.
I hope you like the change and I trust that it won’t confuse you. I’ve put a link to Seeking Utopia in my Special Links and in the side bar. Importantly, there is a link on Seeking Utopia which will bring you back to Dangerous Creation so you can easily move backwards and forwards between the two blogs depending on your mood or need.
We’ll see how we go! Your feedback is always appreciated.
P.S. On Seeking Utopia, originally I called myself Daniel (to protect my identity and that of my family) so if you see that name in the old archives, just think to yourself: Daniel is now David (which is also a pseudonym)!
P.P.S. I’ve got broadband now so running two blogs will not be so difficult!

cool……..but i’ve already found my utopia. it’s within myself and the animals and nature i revere………..
but i’ll pop over there and see what’s happening…………….

Brilliant David…I was not posting as much as I felt overwhelmed at times with the preoccupation with the evils afoot in our world..having a sidebar will keep me interested and sharing…I don’t want to live in lalaland but also can’t stay healthy if I allow myself to become unbalnced and only seeing half of things…paranoia means literally seeing only half..metanoia is a complete view…beautiful weather today in Northern Mich…standing with Women in Black last Fri was interesting…more support than ever as far as honks etc but women are too afraid to come and stand with us..it is ok..I do understand…love to all Kate

Coco, lucky you to have found your own Utopia! Everyone can do it if they try.
Kate, that women are afraid to support you is sad. But given the instability and difficulties that people are now experiencing, I’m sure that will change. I sure hope my experiment will work and that both sites will satisfy in their own way!
Cheers.

Beautiful! Just what I need to help balance all the ugly and hurtful things that seem to fill the world.

Jeannie, the human world is not a pretty place. We need to immerse ourselves in nature’s beauty sometimes to cleanse ourselves, to find a proper balance, to restore our emotional health.
Hopefully Seeking Utopia will assist in this process!

Great idea David. I left a comment over at Seeking Utopia earlier.

I wasn’t sure whether it was you, Kathy, but thanks for taking the time to comment in both places. Without feedback, I’m flying blind!

Well now, we can’t have you flying blind! I should have posted a couple of days ago. It was only a matter of switching into my gmail account.
David I think to post a comment on blogspot you have to have a gmail account. When I started blogging in the autumn of 2008 I could sign in under my AOL name but shortly after that they wouldn’t let me log in unless I had a gmail account. So I set up the account which doesn’t take long and it’s free.
Seeking Utopia is a beautiful blog. It is well worth the visit! Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed the experience, Kathy. I’m quite excited by the twin-blog approach. It will help to keep me sane!

David, you came out strong. You sounded good in this post and it seemed healthy wanting to have good Boundaries. Allow a place for both aspects of the human experience. I am so lazy, but you have made it easy to go between the two sites. : ). I will spend time at both and see how it goes, Daniel. I am also dancing bear over at cd these days. Just incase you read a repeat it is not plagiarization even though there are worse things. Thanks for the care you bring to what you do.
