The Israeli tanks are back in Gaza. How many Gazans will die this time?
Friends, the killing of two members of the IDF by Gazans (a soldier and an officer) may be a sign that the Palestinians (who also suffered casualties) have realized that talking about their future State with the Israelis and the Americans is going to get them absolutely nothing.
Perhaps they have realized that while the talking goes on, the Israelis are furiously building settlements on what little is left of their land. The Israelis are also evicting Palestinians from their homes every day to make way for more settlements. And the Israelis continue to crush the Gazans and the Palestinians who live in the West Bank to stifle all commerce and hope.
What does all this mean? It means that Israel has no intention of allowing the Palestinians to have their own state and never has had. It means that if the Palestinians are to achieve anything, they’ll have to fight for it.
I have mentioned many times that to achieve anything, Palestinians will have to adopt extreme guerrilla tactics, use any means to attack their occupiers, to weaken them. They did this under the leadership of Arafat and the Israelis were frightened because their military might didn’t count for much because their perceived enemy lived among them and were not easily identifiable.
You may ask why David G the peacemaker is advocating war and killing. Well, it’s because there is no other option that I can see.
There is no country in the world that will stand up to the Israelis because, through their Jewish networks, the Zionists have too much power and influence. There is no Arab country that will fight for the Palestinians because they either rely on American aid, or they are run by Royal Despots who are in American pockets, or they are frightened of Israeli and American nukes.
Palestinians, with some clandestine help from their many friends, have to fight for their freedom, fight for their State, fight against the illegal occupation, fight for their right to live as other people in the world do.
If they don’t fight, they, as a people, will disappear and the Jews, deranged by their religion, will set up their racist, elitist State which, like a cancer, will soon begin to spread its borders into neighbouring states and the world inevitably will end up in a nuclear war.
Support the Palestinians in their struggle against the dangerous, imperial Zionist State. Send money, letters of support to the Palestinians. Contact leaders in your country and ask them to fight for Palestinian justice.
Know this: if the Palestinians triumph and Israel is knocked off its self-created racist pedestal, the world will be a much safer place!
You are so right David! Even though I hate fighting and war there are times when people must fight or the forces of evil will over whelm and destroy them.
I just hope that if the Palestinians win their war that they can create a state that is ruled by justice and fairness for all. I hope that they do not become like their enemy in the way that the Israelis have become like the Nazis.

Jeannie and Prometheus, what Israel stands for is evil. In their religious derangement, they can’t see it! Their minds seem locked into a primitive, might is right world that existed 3,000 years ago.
It’s a shame we haven’t got a time machine that could transport the whole lot of them back to that time and leave them there.

David, I have been stting back, trying to wrap my mind around Israel. Opening my mind to show me another way. Beating my fists and crying in rage only get me so far. I see the outright evil. I also see the world of complicit players.
Sometimes I watch or listen to mainstream “news” to listen for, What is Not said.
We are going to cancel our cable and sell our tv.
It will make it that much easier to filter out the truth.
The truth will set us free.

The truth is something that is avoided for most people, Grace. They can’t handle being confronted with the truth about themselves, their nation, the ugly world they live in, etc.
The only way the world will change, assuming it ever could, is to seek truth and accept your findings. Then, perhaps, you can move on to some state of enlightenment.

I read a comment by someone at CD who talked about the realives visited on the east coast of the US and not having access to internet news for two weeks. The poster remarked at how shocking the small and misinformed smattering of news over that course of time. Whenever the person would bring up the subject of Iraq, for example, people would respond with things like, ‘You are making yourself unhappy thinking about negative things!’ or, ‘Oh, are we still in Iraq?’ and on and on..
Shocking, but true! I have heard those very things, myself.

That there are such people in the world is hard to believe. The problem is that they are in the majority!
Grace it does make a difference to cancel the cable. I did it last October. We still rent movies from time to time and often but there’s no more commercials and there’s no news media lying to us.
I understand movies are products of hollywood propaganda so I look for the messages when we do rent them. I kept one tv for renting movies. Watched Michael Moore this week: Capitalism, A love story…..it was good.
My kids are reading more than ever. I’m very happy with that! Speaking of reading….and David you were speaking of truth being something that people avoid…
Short point here: My brother inherited over 2000 old books from a 92 year old lady two years ago. She collected just about everything. He asked me to help him sell the books last year about this time. I was on a natural high like you wouldn’t believe because I love books! One thing I noticed that was important to me. She had old dictionaries. When I go on line sometimes to look up a word I’ve never seen before, the online dictionary might not have the word. It encourages me to re-type the word to make sure I spelled it correctly. Then I go to one of her old dictionaries and there it is! My recent word search: Allodial. I have seen it in a few online articles and decided to look it up in my dictionary online. It wasn’t there. It is supposed to indicate absolute ownership of land. The artlcles I’ve been reading were saying we don’t own our land even if we have paid our mortgage in full. Our deeds show that we are tenants. In early America we owned by allodial (complete) ownership. It wasn’t in my online dictionary but it was in the old dictionary that my brother inherited.
Words are disappearing as time goes by folks….down the memory hole. History is re-written too. History in every sense of the word. Political history articles from 1920 are very different than what is published today and what is taught in our schools systems today. Medical information from long ago…very different also. (Of course I don’t think I’m for blood letting and leaches…) but there are articles about herbal remedies and sunlight (vitamin D) that we are just recently getting back to. You could order opiates and cannibas products from Sears Roebuck catalog in the early 1900′s in their pharmacy section.
I’m just throwing this out there in case anyone might consider checking what you are being told today compared to what was being taught in the early 1900′s. Find one big old dictionary at some old antique shop in your area and buy it. Second hand books in America are just about a dime a dozen so you should be able to bring one home cheaply. Look up words like ‘terrorist’ or ‘terrorism’ and find that this word has more to do with governments fearmongering their own people to keep them in line or in a particular political way of thinking than it has to do with some lone nut strapping a bomb to his body and blowing people up. Anti-semitism has gained a twist of definition over the years too. Unbelievable
No wonder there are generation gaps. If we memorized something from our youth, our children find us wrong according to the materials they are made to read.

The cable is cancelled. That is $60 per month! When we cancelled it a couple of years ago, that is how we afforded our big vacation. It feels great to save the money. It is one of the few ways we can cut back. We are going to sell our tv, but I didn’t mention that we are going to get a higher tech tv. ‘: p. My husband has always liked to stay on the cutting edge of technology. It’s what he does for a living and it is also his hobby. The only thing we might miss from cable are the science shows. Even those, I think we can order on Netflix.
I will stick with the ’89 Colt, in pristine condition. If we have a nuclear war, it will be one of the few cars on the road! (Jericho). Besides it was given to me. I call it my gift horse, I don’t look in the mouth. It is a great determiner of people, too. The ones that only wave to me when I drive our new car, yet don’t wave when I am in the colt..tells me everything I need to know about some people.
Very interesting about the old dictionary, Kathy. Thank you for sharing that. That is something I will talk about with my son. I am glad your kids are reading. It develops the ability to imagine – that few other activites develop so well. My son wins reading awards. We are working on developing the love of writing now. He sure has alot to say!
That old Sear’s Catalogue was sure – something!

There might just be a revolution! I had two opportunities this week to stick it to the man. Obama’s team sends email to me and the Republicans sent me a letter/survey to fill out in their postage paid return envelope!!
When I unsubscribed to the Obama team a box popped up for me to say why I was leaving. (It was optional for me to tell the box why or not.) I told the box I was unsubscribing because Obama is a liar, carrying on and expanding Bush policies that he claimed he was going to undo while he was on the campaign trail. I gave them official notice that they are no longer my government and they do not have my consent to govern anything.
The Republicans….well, I typed them a whole legal and lawful notice! I told them I wasn’t a republican or democrat. I told them I wasn’t a birther, truther, a militia member, a racist or astro turf as Nancy Pelosi called many of us.
I told them they were all the same one party to me. (The government corporate party) and asked them if it was too much to ask for them to climb out of bed with the banksters and corporations and actually represent the people of America.
I told them the undeclared wars are illegal and that drone killing was the height of cowardice to me where some fool with a joystick, sitting in a computer chair can kill innocent people and then they can show the drone technology on tv and brag about it. I told them it was an embarrassment to anyone who cares about the lives of human beings.
I asked them what exactly Israel was blackmailing all of them with that would cause them to support such a murderous country. There was more to the notice I sent them but in the end I told them if they must label me as anything just call me ‘An Angry American’. I told them as I told the Obama team…I no longer consent for you to govern me. You are not my government.
