The Killing Fields of Gaza and the West Bank.
This Palestinian child has never known freedom. Neither have her
parents or her grandparents!
Friends, over the past months, I guess what with my health problems (and those of others), Dangerous Creation has moved off course somewhat and this is reflected in some of the comments. It’s time to alter direction and get back to strongly targeting those issues which make our world such a difficult place in which to live if not for ourselves then for others.
This morning the Reuters headlines were screaming about the four Palestinians killed by the IDF over the weekend: one boy of sixteen, one boy of seventeen and two youths of nineteen. Somehow they were shot dead in spite of the claim by Israel they were only using rubber bullets.
Yes, the killing machine that is the IDF is back in town, the lies flow thick and fast, and the Israeli butchers are doing what they love most: killing defenseless Palestinians (see above).
The picture in the Middle East is somewhat confused at the moment. The Quartet in Europe are trying to put pressure on the Israelis. The U.N. is trying to put pressure on the Israelis (they are visiting Gaza). The Obama Administration is trying to put pressure on the Israelis (at least, they pretend they are). And Benny, who makes Sharon look like a spinster Sunday School teacher, is in Washington to engage in more time-wasting talks.
The result of all this pressure? As they’ve done for sixty years, the Israeli Jews act as if they are the only nation in the world that has rights. They ignore all pressures, threats, condemnations, U.N. Resolutions, International Laws and continue with their land stealing, genocide and brutality.
The Palestinians, rightfully getting angered by Israel’s continuing intransigence, are protesting and the Israeli Jews, predictably, bring out the big guns and the killing has begun again.
And the more the desperate Palestinians protest, the more of them will be killed (men, women, kids) and while all this is going on the sly Israelis build more and more settlements on what little is left of Palestinian land and the dream of a Palestinian State sinks like water into the desert sands.
Friends, if any other nation had done what Israel has done over six decades, the world would have joined together to create a large army to invade it and throw the despotic fanatics out!
Israel, by stealth, by deception, by playing the ‘victim’ card, by manipulating the media, by pressuring or buying politicians, etc, has avoided major retribution thus far. And now the pressure is being turned up on it, it stirs the Palestinians up and then it will claim it is only acting in self defense.
It is time that pressure was exerted on all Jews across the world. Do you know any? Why not give them a call or send them a letter of complaint. Do you buy products made in Israel? Why don’t you leave them on the shelves. Have you contacted your politicians? Why not make an appointment to see the appropriate ones, tell them about the horror that the Palestinians are undergoing and your anger at such injustice. Do you have radio shows that allow comments? Why not ring in and complain about Israel!
Israel must be brought to heel. It must be made to conform to the rules that all nations must obey. It must be boycotted and condemned until it changes its wicked ways.
If nuclear-armed Israel, with 1% of the world’s population, is allowed to continue to dictate to the world, even to threaten to nuke Iran, its deranged ambitions will eventually bring the world down. Will you let that happen?
Let the many voices on Dangerous Creation cry out before it’s too late!

Halle-bloody-lujah!
“Israel must be brought to heel. It must be made to conform to the rules that all nations must obey. It must be boycotted and condemned until it changes its wicked ways.”

I am sending articles to my federal member, Mr Mark Dreyfous, and asking for his comment on the situation in Palestine. Surprisingly ( not really ) I have had no reply. He is a silvertail QC imposed on us by Labor head office.
Also I keep nagging the family about the BDS list, but I’m feeling it is like “head brickwall” territory.

“Hometown Baghdag” is on the Sundance channel, and can be viewed online. Made secretly by the youth of Iraq, and the devastation it showed, reminds me of that in Gaza, DG showed. The antiwar marches in the USA over the weekend, were powerful.

Excellent article, David G. I can’t add anything to it. You’ve said it all. The perfidious Israelis will never change. They’ve got their agents and lobbyists spread throughout the world, in the media, in banking, in weapons industries, and their toadies and slaves in Washington, DC. I had always thought of Israel as the 51st state of the USA. Perhaps it is more accurate to think of the USA as an Israeli state, while Americans are too busy being sheep to understand they’re really little more than worker bees for the hive of evil. After all, the typical American is much more interested in speculating about Tiger Woods’s sexual conquests, Sandra Bullock’s marital troubles, and Barak Obama’s birthplace. I can’t think of a way to react to the insanity except to escape it. But where does one escape to?
Reply
Simon, the truth is often powerful!
Therese, anti-war marches may be a sign that the sheeple are slowly changing.
Judge Joe, your observations about American’s interests are worrying. If people are mainly interested in trivia then they can be easily manipulated!
Cheers.

Here’s an idea and I don’t know how well it might work.
Do you guys still receive a lot of junk mail in the snail mail box? I get quite a few each week and toss them in the trash. Many of them come with postage paid return envelopes. So to put these envelopes in the outgoing mail and back to the corporation who sent you their offer would not cost you anything.
The back side of the envelopes are usually blank. That’s a good clean spot to write a message like “Stop the murdering of the innocent Palestinians”
This piece of mail will pass through several hands who might stop and read the back side of the envelope. If I was a postal worker I think I would start to notice if a large percentage of the mail that I sorted had messages on the back of the envelopes.
On the inside of this envelope, instead of sending whatever the junk corporation wanted you to send back, send them your political message. Or just send the envelope back to them empty. They will be forced to open your envelope, they will be forced to understand that they just paid postage and got nothing in return and they will be forced to see your political message.
The messages could be written on the back of all envelopes that you send, not just junk mail.

Kathy, that is truly a fantastic idea! Go to the top of the class.
And there’d be nothing wrong with putting a small note inside the envelope with a factual message about the long-suffering Palestinians or asking the corporation to stop wrecking our world.
Thanks.

Good idea Kathy, especially as down here we have elections coming up, so there will be much junk from our pollies.?

David and Robbo, that’s the free way I can think of to use the postal service to get our message out. I think the junk from our pollies will work here too because of elections in November. My census hasn’t been sent in yet because I have until April 1st so I think I will fill that sucker up with messages! (Free return envelope)
I looked online at our US postal service rules and it seems that as long as you aren’t sending porn that could be seen on the outside, and you aren’t putting anything on the inside that could be dangerous…you’re okay here. In addition, I just wouldn’t threaten the life of anyone. Check your country’s rules too okay? And of course here I would tell any USA person to look the rules up for themselves to make sure I didn’t overlook something.
David I first started thinking of this as a post card campaign. Some of the pictures that you post here such as your first one in this thread would make a bold postcard picture that no one could ignore. Especially with a bold caption! But then I worried about how to license the photos and not violate copyrights. This is over my head. If anyone here knows how to implement this as a worldwide postal campaign then I will be glad to participate as much as my limited $$$$ will allow.

Kathy, if you took a picture and sent it via an envelope to a corporation in one of their envelopes then there is no way to prove who sent it. And as you’re not making money by using the photograph then I see no copyright problems either at least in Australia.
Cheers.

Kathy, I love your ideas. I would send the above photo. I will try and print some photos and add those.
However, at the anti-war march in DC, when Sheehan called Obama a war criminal, most of the participants did not appreciate that. The lefties are still enamoured with the Democrat mass murderer and torturer. At http://www.antiwar.com, Justin Reynaldo posted a great article saying that the antiwar Americans need to merge, whether left or right, so that the great antiwar activist Congressman Ron Paul, should have been invited, as well as his Liberty Coalition.

Therese, I’m still not sure why they arrested Sheehan at this protest but I just took up for her over at Infowars when someone commented that she must have violated some rule…. “When we’re having any kind of revolution we don’t ask for permission from the powers that be and we don’t care about breaking the rules outside the white house. (Unless Sheehan injured a fellow human being.) If there’s no injury….no crime has been committed and she shouldn’t have been arrested. There’s the thing that you mentioned that I think we will see happen next. MERGE…no more left or right…just merge. I like Ron Paul too. Poor old guy! He’s too old (I think …to run in 2012) but he has started a grass roots movement and changed a lot of thinking! His latest videos have been all but screaming at the American people to stand up NOW or lose everything we hold dear.

David my comments feedback feature isn’t working today. This morning when I checked there were no SOS from Dangerous Creations in my mailbox. I went there anyway and found comments. This afternoon those comments were sent to me three times. Tonight, still no prompts in my email box from this thread. So I checked into your site again and here they are. Something is out of order on my end…or on your end…

Kathy, I asked my boy who does all the technical work on DC and he suggested you try a different email address. Is anyone else having problems?
I’m sorry I’m so technologically retarded regarding computers but I blame my creative streak for that!

No, I have just been running slow lately. It takes me time to process and as with that, “other” thread, more thoughts kept blossoming with a little water and sunshine and beauty rest.

I want to recommend a magazine called “Washington Report on Middle East Affairs”.
In every issue there are 3 postcards preaddressed to the pres..a senator & congressman & they say feel free to copy postcards if you have a larger mailing list.
You can check the magazine out a wrmea.com // it might be dot org, but it’s easy to find.
They tell the issues from the Arab/American view & tell which US politicians are large AIPAC recipients,
One thing that I do when I receive a letter asking for donations that I’m not able to give at the time I still take a few minutes to tell the organization that I’m interested in ending the 60 year occupation of Palestine and until their group addresses that issue they can quit asking me for money. (I try to do it with a little more diplomatically but stress that I am interested in $$$ going to the relief of Palestinians, in their homeland or exile.

kate bates, that’s great. I don’t get that magazine nor could I pay for any new subscription to ANY mag right now BUT…when I think of all the places where I have to sit and wait (and read a magazine) the magazines have ads and perforated tear outs for some company or some organization… worth looking at as a way to use for advertising OUR ideas (already paid for by them). The one you mentioned.. ‘Washington report on middle east affairs’ sounds like a good one with pre-addressed post cards to politicians. I will check out the link too.
Heck, even when I send my sister her birthday card I will write my political message on the outside of the envelope. It will be a joint venture between me and the postal service!

In her own words, Cindy Sheehan tells us why she was arrested and how she was treated, and that post is at desert peace, to which David G gives us a link here.

Aren’t we. Torture, confinement, and other kinds of persecution rule the day. I, myself, when seeking a second term, was the victim of thuggish lies and outrageous skullduggery from both corporate zionist papers, one white and the other black, all because my truthiness (to quote Colbert) is a danger to their controlled world order. Que sera, sera!

Therese, what were you seeking a second term for? Were in in public office?
Okay David, I just changed the email address to see if that will help. ( I hate messing with technical stuff too) If a phone rings and I can answer it then I’m okay. But if I have to read a book an inch thick to tell me how to work my phone… I’m angry!!
I started to exploit the postal system today. I will be looking for ways like Kate Bates pointed out with magazines, and everything else we can come up with. Junk mail may be our gold mine now people!!!
Well, junk everything might hold gold for us if we can figure out how to use it. Abundance is always there if we can only see it!!!

Friends, it’s great the way this junk mail idea is blossoming. And sending postcards showing how life is in Gaza and the West Bank is fantastic and will expose Israel for what it is!
Kathy, I did have an issue with comments on my own blog yesterday but it seems to be all right again now! Technology is a tricky and frustrating thing.

They don’t let you read current issue on line until they mail out to donating subscribers, I highly recommend this web site, one of the publishers was a USA senator who angered AIPAC and was kicked out of office, name of Paul Findley.
This was over 25 years ago.
I like this publication because even when they get mail from”flame” the Radical Pro Zionist group that argues loud & long the message that zionism is here, it rules & always will, shut up or we’ll scam you out of your $$$$ + cost you legal bills that you’d never be able to afford,
WRMEA stays civil and truthful.
When Dr. Sami Al-Arian was in federal prison I connected & had a small correspondence because the magazine printed his address & asked for letters of support. (One of the privileges of my life.)

The Information Overload specter is certainly a serious one. We need to be informed but the amount of information that is available is overwhelming. Sometimes, I think my head will burst.

“the amount of information that is available is overwhelming”
Good old homo ‘sapient’ brain isn’t geared to this modern world David.
At least an eight port usb/memorycard sloth (equipted from birth) was highly preferred if the ‘homo’ should stand a change in a world of a sumptuousness of electronic (on/of BITs) memory cells increasingly replaces good old human soft sensitiveness with HARD (disk) memory .

John, your comment has cheered me up. I thought my brain was going into meltdown! There is too much information. No one can absorb it all then process it.
Perhaps I’ll become a monk.

David & All: Because of the info overload we desperately need publications, blogs, media that we can rely on to tell us the truth, as they know it.
I appreciate when authors I read do acknowledge errors or admit when they change their minds on issues & explain their rationale. It helps when the government lies brazenly & continuously, as well as previously renouned publications such as New York Times (the gov. & the Times are both zionist controlled territory).
