The War Drums Beat Louder!

Friends, correct me if I’m imagining things but has there been an escalation in the anti-Iran rhetoric over the last month or so? Has it become ever more frantic, ever more illogical, ever more untruthful?
It reminds me of the period prior to the invasion of Iraq when we in Australia were being told by our political leaders that Saddam could launch a nuclear-armed missile at Australia and that Iraq had all manner of Weapons of Mass Destruction that could threaten the world.
It was a period when Colin Powell went to the U.N. and told all manner of preposterous lies and we were shown all manner of dubious graphics and we were told that 9/11 and Saddam were intimately connected.
The U.S., either motivated by its own imperial ambitions and/or prodded along by its Zionist manipulators, is talking the same talk as it did prior to its Shock and Awe attack on Bagdad. Its talk is designed to frighten people across the world, to elevate Armadinejad into a Saddam-like monster, to convince us that Iranians have two heads and drink the blood of babies, and to make out that Iran threatens the survival of the whole world. Why it’s even deployed more missiles in the region recently, ones designed to shoot down Iranian missiles should they be fired, it says.
Of course, if we look at Iraq and what was achieved there, we already know that the American method of solving world problems (bomb, bomb, bomb) achieves nothing except to make lots of money for the U.S. armament and munitions manufacturers and to give America more places to put its army bases and more access to oil and other resources. That Iraq is now a chaotic mess, worries the Yanks not at all!
The irony of the Iran scene rests with Israel. It, clandestinely, and with a lot of help from its few, misguided friends, managed to make itself into a nuclear power without anyone knowing. But that’s alright! I heard few shouts of condemnation from the West when Israel was shown to have nukes. The silence was deafening.
The silence from the West has been equally deafening regarding the brutality of the Israeli occupation and land stealing or rampant America imperialism. But should Iran seek nukes in order to give it some way to counterbalance the military threat that imperial Israel (armed by the U.S.) poses to the region, that is a big NO-NO-NO!
Expect to hear a lot more specious denigration of Iran over the next weeks and months. By the time an attack comes about most people in the world will think that Iran is a hundred times worse than Iraq and that Saddam was a saint compared with Armadinejad!
By comparison, and through the effectiveness of relentless propaganda from the MSM, the Western Governments and the pulpit, Israel will be a haven of pacifism and love and America will have painted itself once again as the peace-loving, altruistic saviour of the world!
Such deception is monstrous. All the facts show that the U.S. and Israel are the monsters, ones who will use nukes if it suits their purposes. But we don’t want facts to get in the road of our manipulation, do we?
America and Israel are the true enemies of the Free World. They both need to taste some Shock and Awe, don’t you think?
Alternatively, their people need to wake up and rid their countries of the insatiable warmongers and the rapacious merchants of greed in their midst before it’s too late.

Mushrooms are one of the ancient foods full of many nutrients our bodies need. This Nuclear nightmare that hovers on our psyche horrroizon… Nobody deserves this! This is ridiculous madness. Anyone who who toys with and barters in death and profits from Shamefull MURDER of people .. needs to be pointed out and Boycotted. I promise you that I will not purchase a Caterpillar “Corrinator” Bulldozer in my lifetime. There are many other businesses that support the Death Monster. Japan had Godzilla. What do we call ours? A Nosferatu Vampire comes to mind.

Grace, when I read your comment I got very angry. You are correct: why should every person in the world have to live with this nuclear nightmare? Why should every person in the world have to be dictated to by one nation that only has 5% of the world’s population? Why does the world tolerate this military madness that is created by a handful of greedy, deranged psychopaths who want to control the world?

David, I have wished that the rest of the World would speak out against American war mongering. I didn’t realize how embroiled the world’s “leaders” must be. Blair- lites. Blair is like a Standard Poodle among Teacups. He is sooo bought and paid for! Are the other countries just waiting like obedient lap dogs? What are they waiting for? Things are bad and only geting worse at this rate! Business as usual. Protest or Perish, little people. I am going to perish anyway. I just still hope for a better turnout because staying alive is the primary human directive. Kids will be the adults before we know it. My kid, everybody’s kids.

Personally, I waver between outrage and just wishing the bad would go away – while I take steps to move my life in a better direction, That is the best I can describe it. I wish I genuinely felt more hopeful, but I want to feel positive and enjoy this gift of life.
P.S. I just cleaned out my house and gave more than ten large boxes and bags of clothing, medicine, blankets to be delivered to Haiti. These things will be brought directly, by a parent at my son’s school ,who has family in Haiti – so I know those things will go directly to those that can really use them.
It feels good to let go. It is like losing psychic weight and the spirit becomes lighter and Richer!. That is the best I can describe it. I mean, we will have to let go, one day, in death. I will tell you a secret to why my realationships are strong. Because I have to be willing to walk away at any given moment. Not hastily or spitefully, but in the sense of preservation of what is right and true. When I had to walk away from my family and be all alone in the world, I found out that some people will abuse that knowledge and think they have me prisoner – because I have nowhere to go. I am only a willing prisoner of love and life, not one kept by violence to the soul. To trust that I won’t fall off the edge of the Earth if I venture beyond the horizon. That is the faith I have chosen to live by.

Grace, that I have been able to help you makes me happy. Our little community here has mutual benefit for all who contribute. Aspects of your journey have a connection to Buddhism which, as a philosophy, guides much of my own life. To accept that we will grow old and die, that we will get sick, that people will abandon us, etc, means that we can accept things and not let them spoil our lives. Then, when good things happen, that’s a bonus!

Therese, I agree. The problem is that American/Jewish power is huge and we, who deplore what the world has become, can do little because of the indoctrinated sheeple.

HYPOCRICY is what it is – when Mrs. America talk about inciting ARMSRACE when other just want to achieve the same technology (weapons) like the nations who allready have WMD’s (in the thousands).
The mere fact that the western world with all mean is intented to prevent Iran having nuclear weapons tells me the simple fact that they deep inside, not at all has any intentions to live and share the world side by side with Iran [and all other nations who want to get this technology, also ] in peace and harmony.
If they were honest, as this shows, they are NOT, they would be HAPPY to live side by side on equal conditions.
It has allways been my personal filosophy that, in a world of genuine justice, one person can not possess a gun without everybody else also have such a same (killer) thing/equipment too, – ought to be a matter of course.
If homo sapiens (v. 2.0), known for being mentally well equipt, just could acknowledge these simple fact one of it’s next step toward civilisation, then finally we could abolish all those kinds of monstrous-killer-remedies. and FIRST THEN a genuine ‘democracy’ could begin to take place.
It’s NOT forbidden to dream.
The western world is SICK if it think it can achieve it’s ‘objectives through violence.

Something I value about visiting an International Blog, are the various insights of how others see America. Mrs. America, is brilliant John! So simple and I can see how this would be how people see her. All I know is I am glad she is not P-Resident. A few rich and powerful people in the US control everything including the majority of the media so when anything comes on the news my first reaction is that it is another government lie.
Iran hasn’t invaded anyone in recent memory and the only reason they might want nuclear weapons is to defend themselves from those who want to use nuclear weapons on them. Of course, that will never be allowed to happen.
The US isn’t afraid they will use the weapons to attack anyone else, but rather that the US will not be able to attack them and gain control of their oil.
And the majority of the people here in the US will swallow the government/corporate lies spread by the media. They never seem to learn that having been lied to about past wars that they are being lied to again.
Just this week there were reports on the news that the US will experience another terrorist attack in the next 3-6 months. For sure that is setting the stage for another war somewhere.

Iran, Iran Iran. This week Iran did something that made my seven year old aware of them. They sent a mouse, two turtles and some worms into outer space. This is a wondrous thing. Now, why is the country that is using its intelligence to compete with the intelligence of the Big Players, in our Nuclear sites? This is an autonomous Nation that is not threatening America. The complaints they have about Israel are heard through the “cult filter.” Israel is irrational when it comes to a any criticism! Joe Lieberman needs to renounce his US citizenship and move to Israel, once and for all. People, in one resounding voice, must say , NO MORE AMERICAN TAX PAYER BILLIONS FOR ISRAEL! I have watched a video of Israeli youth, complain, complain that Obama, and thereby America, have done nothing for them!!

The US is worse than bankrupt. It is deeply in the hole to other countries, especially China. And its financial industry has been outright criminal in its dealings with other countries banks.
The US government has stepped in to protect the swindlers from the wrath of other countries, opening the Treasury to protect private bankers.
But the debt is too much for even US taxpayers to pay back.
What are they going to do?
The traditional way for capitalism to get out of this situation of overproduction and financial ruin is to start a war, destroying productive capacity and all debts.
This is what we are seeing. The US needs a war, a big war, not these occupations of small countries, which only enrich a few.

Ah, Wagelaborer, I know that America will do anything to hold onto its status as the world’s bully but, in a way, we are lucky that China is emerging as a world power and Russia is re-emerging as one.
It’s difficult to see how America could oppose these countries even with its nukes because it would suffer partial annihilation in return and the world would become uninhabitable.
I know because of the Cuban Crisis that America is capable of nuclear insanity but it would be a Pyrrhic victory of immense proportions.

So let me get this straight. If we removed the Jews from the equation, everything would normalize into a harmonious equilibrium? Isn’t that what Hitler believed?

David G, thanks for the welcome. I don’t agree that Jews/Zionists are responsible for many of the world’s problems. I do agree that it is the message being proffered by misdirected and contained dissent, but, IMHO, it is a false message. What we face today, in this world, is a systemic crisis of which Zionism is only a small part. Is Zionism a problem? Certainly it is, and one that deserves to be addressed, but it needs to be put in context lest we run afoul and make the same mistakes of the past. Scapegoating an entire sect of people, rather than focusing on the system, will not cure the cancer. The System is the cancer, and we must find a way to evolve from this current destructive social/economic/political system called Civilization. It’s imperative for the survival of our species and all species here on earth. Yes, it is problematic to be a human in this current system because you are forced to choose between damning options….but that’s a systemic problem, not a problem endemic to the nature of our species.
Please understand, I am no apologist for Zionism or the state of Israel. Quite the contrary, I feel what the Zionists/State of Israel are doing to the Palestinians to be deplorable and atrocious. I also feel that what is being done to people of the Congo, and the people of Africa by the psychopathic global ruling elite to be equally deplorable and atrocious….and those powerful ruling elite are not dominated by Jews/Zionists, nor heavily influenced by Zionist ideology. Morocco, if you had time to look over my posts, you would see that I echo most of your thoughts. Greed for money and power drives most humans.
For some, it is genetic. For some, it springs from indoctrination. For many it’s both. Certainly the major system in the world, ie capitalism, needs to be changed, by revolution if necessary.
Then we need to clear peoples’ minds of the mountains of indoctrination and encourage them to think.
Thinking people would select a peaceful world, one that is in harmony with nature.

David, I think our differences are nuanced, but fundamental. I don’t believe humans are genetically hardwired to be greedy with an inherent thirst for power. The System of Civilization encourages people to engage in that form of behavior. As you say, it shapes, molds and indoctrinates people to lie, cheat, steal, kill and ultimately genocide.
It will be a very difficult task indeed to “clear peoples’ minds of the mountains of indoctrination,” if not impossible. The window of opportunity for them to have developed the capacity for such clearing has long since passed for most. We can, however, inculcate an environment where the developing minds of children can be free to engage in critical thought, analysis and inquiry….it’s natural state, if you will. My wife and I are embarking on a five year plan to do just that. Our plan is to open our own school with an environment that facilitates the refinement of the natural skill of critical thought. Metaphorically speaking, we are taking seeds and allowing them to become saplings in the hope that they will do the same until we have a rain forest of critical thinkers in all walks of life who, collectively, can change the course. It will take time, and may not be in time, but at least we are doing something positive….rather than further facilitating the Corporatist Model.

Morocco, because of our genetics, we inherit many predisposition/instincts: lust, fight or flight, the will to survive, etc. Human behaviour is a combination of nature and nurture. People still argue about how important each is.
I agree that it is a difficult task to clear peoples’ minds of indoctrination. But I don’t believe it is impossible. Children are born with an innate curiousity and that trait must lie dormant somewhere inside each adult. To start the process going, all that needs to be done is to shatter a few of the major indoctrinations that people hold: that some God exists or that our nation was born to rule the world. Once that process begins and people begin to think for themselves, anything is possible.
Your five year plan sounds marvellous. When I complete my Degree I did some education courses and looked at various educators who have tried different ways to educate rather than indoctrinate. I wish you well in your endeavour but, if you haven’t done so, do some homework. Reinventing the wheel is rather futile!

Grace, I will grant that some, say 6%, have a strong propensity to become psychopaths, but there are others who engage in psychopathy, who otherwise don’t have such strong predilections. Either way, they both work in tandem to subjugate what they surely perceive as the Sheep. In Fact, Psychopaths inculcated Civilization as a system that serves them well. Psychopaths are found in all walks of life… and especially at the levers of power, but let’s not fool ourselves into thinking they are one particular, easily identifiable group of people based on race or culture, because that’s much too simple. In otherwords, The Jews are not all psychopaths….but certainly some are. Not all Zionists are psychopaths….but surely some of them are…especially the more rabid Zionists.

Wow, excellent link, indeed. This subject has not only become relevant to – every person on Earth, but in my own life, this subject of psychopathy is deeply important, something that I seek to understand. They say it is a genetic trait, mainly. Especially for the hardcore 1% and then the other 5% (6% total) who learn through early exposure and weakness, to go along with psychopathy. Then there are people who are exposed and at the mercy of a psychopath, who will never be at heart – a cruel, ruthless person, they will be victims and that is a big chunk of society. It is the right thing to promote: the general knowledge of this subset of society. Sheeple CAN wake up, but they have to stop being under the spell of their Master. I have personally experienced this separation from a psychopath at least twice in my life. We have to be willing to let go – at any cost. For me, it has been to live without a family. To be all alone in the World, except for my husband, son and now again, my mother. I did not speak to her for nine years at one time because she always put the protection of my psychopathic brother above my very well being. To the point that I had to leave my home that I owned, because he was in it. My mother did everything along the way to ensure “Damien’s” existence. It is deep. And, I belonged to a certified cult for 6+ years.
The situation in Israel is one where the general masses are victims of psychopathic leaders. it creates a cult situation. One described well in the above link.
