Deniers Are Everywhere!

“Jesus? Never heard of ‘im!”

Friends, the world is full of deniers! One of the most famous of them was St Peter who denied the existence of Christ a number of times when being questioned by the authorities.

I won’t go into the details because religious hocus-pocus has no interest for me but the world is still full of deniers. You can find them in any country, any community, even on most blogs (but not this one).

Modern deniers refuse to:

- admit the existence of duplicitous, power-hungry Nations (like the U.S.) that are trying to gain control of the world for their own selfish reasons using immoral military and economic means.

-  admit that Capitalism, and its twin, Greed, are destroying our world and turning people into two-legged pigs.

- admit what war has never achieved anything except to bring destruction, death and hatred.

- admit that religion is divisive and is based upon silly superstition and myth.

- admit that much of humankind is both deeply flawed and ignoble.

- admit that the ‘me-first’ philosophy, the one that, helped by advertising, drives most humans, is counterproductive and peace-destroying.

- admit that much of the time  they are driven by their hormones.

- admit that they have no more importance in the scheme of things than a mosquito or a toad.

- admit that human intelligence is minimal and the chaos in the world proves it.

- admit that if every human disappeared from the face of the world tomorrow, that nothing significant would be lost.

- admit that they are incapable of joining the dots, seeing the big picture, thinking laterally and they hate people who can.

Friends, deniers are mindless, chattering blockages in the evolutionary process. They keep us at a primitive, barbaric level and have done so for ten thousand years.

Because of their numbers, they will eventually bring about the annihilation of our planet.

But, in their ignorance, they will never know!

Good Mornin all…David having choice in our lives about our own demise can’t be left till the end…who knows if you can physically accomplish your own end to be spared what can be a painful ending..however you alone can decide all these things in your own time…reasonably if the condition is treatable with good prospects for recovery that is a good option when it comes to agreeing to western medicine..being a nurse I appreciate the benefits of Western medicine and don’t beleive it is helpful to throw the baby out with the bath water..what is offered for Cancer treatment is still primitive …energy movement exercise to calm and balance with a good diet and a calm atmosphere is essential and I am not sure your focus on the injustices of this world is helpful to you although it does help you to help us to connect.
Because I stand in silent vigil with Women in Black on Fridays for one hour (for Peace) people beep in support as they drive by and although scared to stand with us they in their hearts support us.That number of beeps is increasing and I am thinking of changing our signs to”No Money For Endless war”.
The Deniars have to be seriously economically impacted personally to begin to develop Compassion. That is why it will and is all falling apart. The SYSTEMS and it will impact us US people till we all wake up…or not…
Grace one thing about pain and loss as we age is it is harder to recover from and my ability to withstand stress and drama is wayyy down..LOve to all and it is going to be cold and snowy today for my stand on the corner but I love the hot soup and friends company after..Kate

Hello All,

David, I continue to appreciate your efforts in addressing the sorry sight that is our humanity. …Sad, isn’t it? We, the species with the whole frontal-lobe thing cannot figure things out … Why is this? … Is it a trick? … Dangerous Creation indeed– No other species on the planet does what we do, creates what we create …. It would be funny, if it weren’t so tragic. This may be controversial, but I will speak only for myself (knowing full well WHY it is controversial)… I have made the decision to never have children- given this reality. This world doesn’t need ONE more human being– We are the problem. We are the cause of poverty and human suffering. We are not special, and we are not miraculous. … If it is possible for our species to figure this- our reality- out, then the opportunity is NOW, within us… Not a future generation ….. The powers-that-be WANT you to be distracted by parenthood/consumerism/narcissim/…they NEED your offspring to secure their position (more people to buy sh**/fight wars/work for THEM) …. I, for one, am not giving in.

How can people remove Mountain Tops – and think it will have no bad impact – just benefits?! These are the kind of deniers that baffle me. The ones like Palin – who can shoot wolves from a helicopter and not see a single bad thing about it. Or Obama and Wall Street (they now go together) -Millions in bonuses – above and beyond wages: that are already above and beyond the norm, yet not think that this will upset a country that has MILLIONS of CHILDREN going to bed Hungry at night!!! Who are these people? And why do they seek seats of power?

Kate, I used to be a real scrapper! I would argue, if I was right, or had a point to make, until I was out of breath. I was the youngest of 7 kids and had to scrap to survive. However, as an adult lady, it is not the greatest quality in the world that attracts people. The “great” thing about getting sick, is I have no Ooomph for this kind of disharmony. I have a near zero tolerance for stress, which could be bad, since life can be stressfull, however, it has required me to access other parts of myself to handle these situations. Overall it is better, this way!

peace, peeps

Women In Black, Rock!! Talk about get off a butt and do something! That is something I could do. I will seek out the local group here. Thanks for sharing about what you do. All I do lately is contact my local congress person and senator. Feels like nothing is accomplished in this. I will still do it anyway, because it could potentially do something. It is about as satisfying as flushing a toilet. (sorry, but that was the image I got last time I called Dianne Feinstein).

“The Deniars have to be seriously economically impacted personally to begin to develop Compassion. That is why it will and is all falling apart.”
True, that is why I try to vote with my dollars. Where we put our money is what the Deniers pay attention to. Good point.

Kate, that you would stand up in the snow and be counted is great! I don’t know much about Women in Black so a few details would be appreciated.

I thought to remove myself from the world when the treatment started but it gave me much too much time to dwell on myself. Better to busy myself with the world and feel that I’m doing something useful!

Emily, yours is such a bright, perceptive comment, like a ray of sunlight! Recently I have been commenting on a blog where some malignant deniers prevail. None of them have the faintest clue and they happily live in a world of make believe and ignorance and will attack anyone who disrupts it with a few home truths.

Please call again soon and share with us your maturity and comprehension.

Grace, that despite your current problems you are still in there fighting the good fight is fantastic. Voting with your dollars is effective because it stops the Robber Barons in their tracks.

Take care all!

Hello Friends, I have extensive experience with folks who deny the truth about what is happening. First they are innundated with propaganda, it is truly shocking how much credence is given to anything declared on tv or written in the newspaper.

I’ve shared before on this blog that what opened my eyes to the Palestinian situation was an article I read about IOF destroying olive groves and I am deeply ashamed about this because before I read that article I really should have known.

And why should I have known? Because in 1990 my youngest daughter married a student from Palestine. How many times did my son in law try to to inform me about what his family had/has gone through? Many, but I was such a know-it-all, sure I knew about the Irgun & King David Hotel, but I knew about it through the Israeli perspective.

Hopefully I’ve evolved a bit in the last 20 years but it’s very hard to see myself as others do.

Deniers in America are lucky because the MSM there helps to distort or minimize the truth!

That’s one thing that deniers can’t stand, that’s the truth. They will go to great lengths to avoid it. They will join together to reinforce each others’ ignorance. They will try to destroy anyone who holds the truth up to them.

The Palestinian issue is a good example. The Israelis spin a tissue of lies to hide their atrocities and war crimes then the MSM across the world embellishes it further.

Thank heavens for Al Jazzera!

It continues to amaze me when people’s own lives are harmed by what is happening yet they continue to deny that anything is wrong. That degree of blindness is very troubling.

The worst things get the louder their voices shout in denial, as if they shout loud enough they can make all that messy reality, that they don’t want to deal with, go away.

Jeannie, yours is a wonderful comment, so perceptive. That’s one thing that deniers are good at and that is shouting. Another thing they excel at is joining their little minds with other little minds. That way they reinforce their mutual ignorance!

hello KateBate ! you wrote:

“How many times did my son in law [a Palestinian] try to to inform me about what his family had/has gone through? – Many, but I was such a know-it-all”

thank you for the little story, as I see as a very human story / not unusual, behavior.

It isn’t very abnormal at all when people hear stories from the other side of the globe, soon to forget it even if it’s about people (being killed)

The world works normally VERY slow, like a ‘juggernaut’ – where the ‘juggins’ have plenti enough to do to behave it self in it’s daily struggle to survive.
.————————————
also me say thank you Al-jazeera – very much!

Although, today, I’ve just (wasted my time) watching the “Queen of all wars” (Hillary), speaking at the [Islamic World Forum] in Doha.
Sorry to say, it was just the same round of sh**, now claiming that Iran actually pursuit nuclear weapons.
——————–

The best way to know (a story) will always be, of course, to be there by yourself, and next best is to have the fact told by a person/journalist, a person that you can trust in. Such a thingis (in my opinion) PRESSTV) and I recommend it to all of you. You’ll not be disappointed.
-I promise.
ps
the worst way of,, is,, to have the story told by a zionist.

hiya JohnLJ . . . I appreciate your comment, nonjudgmental and accepting of human mistakes.

I believe this is attributed to the Buddah:
“The thought manifests as the word,
word manifests as deed
The deed develops into habit
and habit hardens into character.
So watch the thought and its ways with care
And let it spring from love
Born out of concern for all beings.”

I feel so bad that I didn’t listen when I had the opportunity; support & validation is needed by us all.
