Caesar Cometh To Australia!
All Bow To Caesar. Lower!
Friends, the news is out. Caesar Obama is coming to our country. P.M. Rudd made the announcement and you would’ve thought he was announcing the Second Coming! Prime Minister Rudd will lap up the photo ops and, for a few days, believe that he walks on water all the time!
Already the MSM is in a tizzy and, in Government circles, politicians are practicing to doff their caps or curtsy or grovel to the dark-skinned potentate from America, the ‘greatest nation in the history of the World’ (at least according to Americans).
Yes, Aussie pollies think that the arrival of Obama brings great credit to Australia and to them as the elected representatives. All it does is to show to the world that Australia, or at least its government, is another arse-licking country that does whatever America demands. The U.K., the NATO countries, also fall into line when the U.S. cracks the whip as does the U.N., etc.
When I was a child, the British Empire was still in existence and I remember lining up along the side of the road to see her Majesty passing by. I waved a flag, a British flag, and thought that I would faint from seeing such a symbol of military power.
Since then, Australia has swapped allegiances somewhat. We still defer to Britain on occasion but the U.S. has taken the place of Britain, at least in the minds of many. But, fortunately, there has been a significant change in me.
I will not faint at the sight of Obama. I would be more likely to hurl a house brick at him and make offensive signs and boo and hiss.
Why should I show respect for a man who represents a nation that is the world’s biggest warmonger? Why should I think that a nation that bullies the world and, all too often, kills hundreds of thousands of world citizens using dodgy pretexts then takes their resources, is worthy of admiration?
Why should I bow my head to a country which has put together the largest army in the world, surely an extremely dubious achievement? Why should I defer to the most greedy nation in the world and the most selfish? Why should I bow to a nation that supports Israel, that is driven by Christian Fundamentalism, that is elitist, that uses torture and puts people in cages, etc?
No, friends, the visit of Obama for me will be met with disgust. And when I see the inevitable grovelling, I will feel like vomiting and I will feel ashamed of my country and its leaders and some of its citizens.
What would I like to see? That every Australian citizen turned their backs to Obama, that they joined together as one to show him that our nation deplores virtually everything that America stands for.
But, given that most Australians are, like most Americans, indoctrinated, my wish will not come true and the world, constantly pushed and pulled and manipulated and bludgeoned by America, will continue to lurch towards its own demise.
My final comment: Obama, piss off! You are not welcome here (and neither is the leader of any country that thinks that war is acceptable and profitable).

I wholeheartedly agree David, especially with the last line.

Will Australia always be a servile country, Robbo?
It seems that America owns us. American corporations festoon our businesses, American army bases (which we are not allowed to supervise) litter our land, our television is filled with American crap, our politicians suck mightily from the American teat, our MSM is pro-America, we have embraced the culture of greed and selfishness that America worships, etc.
Australia is being swallowed by America. I hate it!

“…the leader of any country that thinks that war is acceptable and profitable” And that was just from his Nobel peace Prize speech! Just you see, he is bringing war in the name of peace to your land too. The Fog of War is clear in some spots, I can almost see the mystical land of Avalon.
Meanwhile, back here on Earth, the Greatest Sales job on Earth is in full swing, next stop Oz.

I agree completely! The world is a total mess and getting worse everyday. I wish I could see some hope somewhere but nothing ever seems to change.

That is what Obama was supposed to do – bring Hope and Change. I just feel manipulated. Like so many Hollywood blockbusters that make you care about a character, only to drag you through the mud and slowly kill the character, manipulating the audiences emotions. I feel “used” after watching those movies. I feel just a little “used” after giving my vote to the Man of Hope and Change. Times like this I wish my Dad were still alive. There wasn’t a single movie that he couldn’t tell you the plot-line and how it would end up! I used to get mad, but as I got older I saw he was always right.

Now – I see. You said “FOG”, Grace, of course (me stupid) it suddenly appears to me that’s the reason why they ‘culled’ Anders FOG Rasmussen to be the next secretary General for the killer-juggernaut, “NATO”.
Of course a FOG’gy soldier will allway be preferable for dirty jobs.

Don’t be too hard on yourself, John. This has been going on, all along, right under our very noses, but we were trained to not see.

Sorry that you Aussies have to put up with a visit from Obama. I think just about everyone here is sick of seeing him in the news every time they turn around.
Grace I felt used too but I learned last year in March that it wouldn’t matter who I gave my vote to. They are all only puppets of the bankers that rule the world. Here’s a link to a documentary that I watched that helped me understand how this country is being ruled. It’s called the Obama Deception.

Grace, I’m so glad you were able to watch it. I hope you can send the link to others who might watch it and wake up to what’s happened to America. We have to get over the left/right paradigm and see who the true powers are that are running the show. And then we have to show them that they aren’t too big to fail. But in order to take down the bank system we have to put a new one in place with sound money instead of this debt money we use right now.
Our economy crashed in 2008. They are holding it up by a toothpick until they have a few more things in place. The news media will keep us calm by telling us that the worst is over. But the worst is yet to come!

I didn’t vote for Obama. I knew that he was a tool. You could look at his voting record in the Senate and see that. The campaign was a marketing triumph, so much so that he got an award from the Association of National Advertisers.
Maybe it’s genetic. My grandmother was an immigrant from England. I remember her telling me that on Queen Victoria’s 50 anniversary, they were let out of school, so that they could go to the parades. The children got treats. But not my grandma’s family. Her mother kept them from the parade, saying that our people had nothing in common with royalty. My grandma had to babysit her younger siblings so that my great-grandma could beat the rugs!
My grandpa was wounded in WWl, and got a small check from the British government until he died. Then it was stopped, much to my grandma’s dismay. She got a letter of condolence from the Queen, but she said she’d rather have the check.
And when Diana married Charles, everyone in town expected my grandma to stay up and watch it on TV. My grandma was indignant. “What do I care what the royal family does? Do they have any trouble paying their bills? What do they have in common with me?”

Your Great-Grandma has made a lasting impression on me. Thanks for sharing, Wagelaborer.

Oh, I forgot to add.
Read William Blum’s “Killing Hope” for instruction on what happened to an Australian who dared to challenge the US empire.
Edward Gough Whitlam was targeted by the US and the CIA and forced from office.
He also talks about the Nugan Hand Bank of Sydney, and the role it played for the CIA and American interests.

Grace, Obama has been a deep disappointment to me also. He too is just a puppet of the greedy, power-hungry vested interests that control America. That he got a Peace Prize is profoundly ironic!
Jeannie, it’s difficult to remain optimistic given what’s going on around us.
Kathy, when he appears, you know there is some ulterior motive. Perhaps we Down Under are being prepared for the next war that America is planning, being readied so we can play our part in helping America to bring peace to the world. (deep sarcasm)
Wagelaborer, that America has interfered in the affairs of our country comes as no surprise to me. It has its dirty fingers in the affairs of most countries. It looks for any advantage it can get for itself: strategic, economic, political, you name it!
To describe it as a cancer, as I often do, is fair comment. But what really galls me is the extreme hypocrisy of it claiming that it is trying to bring peace to the world while it is waging endless imperial wars.

it kills me that I can’t remember the name of 2009′s man of the year, the closest my mind can come is Munthader the shoe hurler.
Anyway, the man who lobbed his brogans at the former prez of the USA, showed us all the way, but here in USA an ordinary plebe like me would never be permitted to get close enough to slap a pie in his eye.
I voted for Obasma…….granted my choice between him, hilary or McCain was the heighth of black humor, a choice of death by slow starvation, illlness or sharpshooter, I chose sharpshooter so it’d be over quicker, but I knew we were screwed as soon as he appointed rabid zionist Rahm Emanuel to be his gatekeepe

Kate, that appointment troubled me too. That a handful of fanatical Jewish people have so much power is dangerous. Mind you, America has its share of fanatics too!

It would seem that a vast number, if not the majority of people love being fooled. Check out the lead piece at infowars today, and to Alex Jones telling people to wake up, and say no to the SuperBowl. His ObAMA dECEPTION is superb.

Therese, I have just finished watching the Obama Deception and what worries me is, while it seems to be warning people in the US, if the controllers complete the takeover of the US the rest of us are gone too. I will recommend it to my crowd down here.
