Indeed, David. The U.S.of A. gives to Israel, every year, unconditionally. This year it is around 3Billion. The only condition this time 'round is that Israel must use some of the money to buy a certain amount of American made weapons. My taxes pay for the protection of Israel. It seems like there are lots of people in the Middle East who need money and protection! The arrangement with Israel is clearly part of America's Imperial ambitions. It has revealed itself to be a murderous, crime and atrocity filled arrangement! I do not want to support this! Anyone of conscience must not support this!! THERE IS ANOTHER WAY!

Conspiracy Theories With Jesse Ventura focused on possible 2012 catastrophes, and gave irrefutable evidence that underground cities, mammoth in size, have been built underground in the USA, and one still is, under the airport in Denver, Colo., which probably explains all of the doomsday and masonic symbols on their walls. Could this also be for the zionist powers-that-be, when their forces attack Iran.

Thank you, John L, for posting that link. It is unbelievable to me that people, especially so-called liberals, still support the attack on Yugoslavia. Even now, after "9-11 changed everything", the US support for the Muslin KLA in Kosovo, for whom so many Arab Afghan veterans, including the 9-11 boogey man, Osama BinLaden, has not changed. Of course, they need Camp Bonsteel to threaten Russia, and the KLA is a good organization to help run Afghan heroin into Europe. Big profits there!

And after the US attacked Iraq and engaged in the most outrageous ethnic cleansing of all, resulting in over 1 million deaths and 3 million refugees, with Baghdad literally walled into separate ethnic enclaves, how can any American complain about the imaginary Serb ethnic cleansing. Serbia today is still the most diverse place of the former Yugoslavia.

And, as the article you posted points out, the American habit of calling each new target the new "Hitler" was appallingly egregious in the case of the Serbs, who were victims of the Croats and the Muslims who allied with the REAL Hitler 50 years before, including some of the actual same people, who crawled from their holes, emboldened by American support, money and weapons, to repeat the actions in the 90s that they had in the 40s.

The attack on Yugoslavia was a new program rolled out to see how it would fly, calling armed attacks "humanitarian intervention". You see it now as the US announces that it must send more troops to Afghanistan, "to save the women". Never mind that the women are much worse off after 8 years of US occupation. Especially the brides bombed on their wedding days. We are to pretend that 8 years means nothing and that the US really means well.

Which brings us to Haiti. The propaganda is astounding! How can they talk about the poverty of Haiti without mentioning the years of attacks by France and the US.

And Obama has the nerve to appoint Bush and Clinton to lead the "relief efforts".

Bush, who was the second Bush to support coups against the elected leader of Haiti, Aristide,
and Clinton, who put him back in power only after ensuring that he would go along with the neocon agenda?

Why is Haiti so poor? Maybe if the US wouldn't have invaded and occupied it for so many years, supported the dictators, dumped cheap rice on it, throwing their farmers out of work and into crowded slums, where they work for 30 cents an hour, while the country is forced to pay $1,000,000 a week to the banksters.

Democracy Now pointed out that 30 years ago, Haiti was food self sufficient, but after 30 years of "aid" they were forced to eat mud earlier this year.

What an insult to the Haitian people to have two of the biggest living criminals against their country put in charge of "helping" them. This sends a clear message that Obama means no better for those people, no matter what his skin pigmentation is.

Judge joe, as you would appreciate, most peoples' attitudes and beliefs are shaped by indoctrination which starts in the home and is continued by governments, schools, the media, etc. On this site we try to expose indoctrination whenever it appears as you have done so well in your comment especially in the second last paragraph.

At the moment, American people are being exposed to strong indoctrination about Iran. They are being readied for war on another front by the President who stood on a platform of change.

The killing of the atomic scientist in Tehran was clearly set up by Western forces to further stir things up, to demonize Iran, to justify an attack which I sense is not too far away.

If that attack comes, the world will go up in smoke!

Cheers.

David G, as an American who deals daily with people who still have McCain/Palin campaign posters in their windows and on their fenceposts, and even Bush/Cheney bumper stickers. I'm quite familiar with the ingrained homophobia of most people. They live a cartoon-like existence where everybody is imagined as a stereotype, and anyone unlike the mainstream populace is generalized by the most extreme image they can conjure up: all priests are pedophiles, all Mexicans are thieves, all blacks are lazy, all Polish are stupid, all Jews have big noses, all gays are flaming drag queens, all Moslems are terrorists.

However, the U.S. does not share the same attitude toward homosexuals as the Islamic nations in the Middle East, Souheast Asia, and Africa. These places have a bloodthirsty, even savage approach toward gays. The U.S., like parts of Latin America, has a brand of machismo that permeates its identity. Gays here are often denied equality in housing and employment, fired from teaching jobs in most states, frequently disowned by their families, and subject to many other subtle forms of discrimination. And, of course, there's the "Don't ask, don't tell" regulation in the military. But anti-gay activities in this country do not include the practice of publicly humiliating and executing known or suspected gay people. That's the difference between here and there. I mentioned Iran as only one place where such atrocities take place, maybe not in the streets if downtown Teheran, but in other cities and towns in that huge country.

Understand, please, that my mention of Serbia was to illustrate that the USA is not the only country capable of wanton warfare. I could have mentioned any number of places in the world where violence and genocide have taken place. Unfortunately, the ringleader of perpetual war during this ugly period of history is the USA. Countless Americans are ashamed, frustrated, and angry with this state of violence, fueled by the military-industrial complex, the all-powerful oil companies, the fanatical support for Israel, and the well-provided for politicians. Unfortunately, countless more are brainwashed into thnking and saying out loud that if we weren't fighting over there, we'd be fighting here.

I appreciate the dignity with which the commentators on this site are respectful and know how to disagree with decorum.

Judge joe, it seems strange to pick out Iran and criticize it for anti-gay activities when the U.S. is filled with the same attitudes and prejudices. And why talk about Serbia when the U.S. is slaughtering people in many locations in the world and plans on escalating further?

Grace, your question is an interesting one! I guess the answer lies in the amount of money the U.S. has invested in Israel!

Kristen, people generally seem to be immune to the horror and suffering that war causes. Not the folk who lived through WW2 of course. They felt the full horror. The U.S. has only had Pearl Harbor and 9/11 thus far, so they have largely escaped the reality.

If Americans suffered what the Iraqis and the Afghanis have for a few years, they mightn't be so keen on war!

Cheers!

I can't imagine the heartbreak mothers feel when their beautiful children are killed by imperialist bombs and bullets. For the life of me, I don't understand how the U.S. and its proxy in the middle east get away with slaughtering innocents. Again, thank you for the picture David, even though it's painful to see I still want to know what crimes my warmongering country is getting away with. It's truly shameful.

I finally figured out how to indoctrinate our kids through seemingly innocent computer games. When Donkey Kong or Mario are wearing ties and suits they are good guys. When the same guys put on their war outfits they are the bad guys then and don't expect them to act like the good guys. Reminds me of the soldiers in the picture above. They are loving husbands and dads when they are back home in their regular clothes.

"Grace, do you refer to the people who enjoy both Israeli and US citizenship?"

Yes.

It was just a 'supposing if.." kind of question. I was sincere in my question. It is something I really want to know.

You say "nobody would be saved.." Interesting.
