When Did WW3 Start?

“Hey, Chuck, remember, the more you kill, the quicker they’ll love us!”
Friends, this may come as a shock to you (it did to me too) but, when I think about it, WW3 has been underway for years, perhaps decades. Like WW2, its genesis came out of the World War which preceded it (the 1914-18 war).
WW2 ended with the defeat of Japan and Germany but there was deep suspicion about the intentions of Russia and its potential to become a superpower. So the existing superpower, the U.S., began its push to amass the biggest and most powerful army in the world. Russia followed.
By spending more money on defense than most of the rest of the world combined, and by stockpiling nukes, and by developing ballistic missiles, the U.S. set the pace. When the missile crisis in Cuba developed and the Americans put a man on the moon (though there is real doubt about this), the Russians backed off otherwise we’d have had WW3 then and there. Gradually Russia, which couldn’t match American defense spending, fell behind and eventually gave up the arms race.
While the Cold War was happening the Korean war began in 1950, a war against the spread of communism. That was followed by Vietnam between 1962 and 1975 ( a war in which America was defeated). And of course who was leading the charge? The U.S. of course!
There were a lot of other wars too, ones that probably didn’t get much attention, covert wars in South America, wars in South-east Asia, the Middle East. For example, the U.S. backed Saddam Hussein in his war against Iran. America backed Osama bin Laden in his war against the Russian occupation. America backed Israel in its illegal occupation of the Palestinian Territories.
America has backed Royal Despots like those in Saudi Arabia and Political Despots like Mubarak in Egypt and Musharraf in Pakistan. The list is endless! In every case America uses whatever means it has to to achieve its ends: military force, bribes, conditional aid, the funding of rebels to overthrow democracies, the funding of coups to set up puppet democracies. Hypocrisy is not in its dictionary and neither is morality.
With all these wars and coups and insurgencies, the U.S. used its now familiar, duplicitous themes: ‘we’re God’s army spreading democracy and human rights, we’re only protecting the homeland, we’re just ensuring our military and economic interests and those of our allies are being advanced, we’re fighting them there so they can’t attack us on our soil, etc.
Friends, the bottom line is that the U.S. wasn’t and isn’t doing any such thing. What it was doing, after a short delay, was taking over where Hitler left off. It is, slowly but surely, seeking control of the world using military and economic force.
Now you may think that David G. has lost his marbles but take a minute to consider the following:

The Red Peril?
In 2009, America has military bases or access to military bases all over the world, more than 180 of them. It has never left Germany or Japan despite the protests of their citizens. Keep in mind that the map above doesn’t show all the bases and it doesn’t show the bases where the U.S. has usage rights and it doesn’t show the places where the U.S. is welcome with a wink and a nudge. You don’t need so many military bases unless you want to control the world by force.
Besides the bases, America also has several flotillas of warships and carriers complete with the latest fighter jets and missiles moving around the world or stationed near trouble spots. It also has nuclear submarines, spy planes and satellites, listening stations, as well as intercontinental nuclear missiles hidden in various countries.
America is currently involved with invasions and occupations (in Iraq, Afghanistan) and is meddling in Pakistan (via drones) and Columbia (setting up military bases) and Mexico (supposedly to help fight the drug cartels) and Yemen (it is firing cruise missiles at targets there). America is threatening to attack oil-rich Iran with nukes if it doesn’t do what America wants.
America knows that if it gets control of major oil resources or access to oil as well as control of food producing areas, it can cut off the growth of China and India who are emerging powers that might threaten U.S. domination one day. Currently, America is now seeking to establish command centres in Africa (USAFRICOM), a resource-rich continent and anywhere else it can get its military boots in through the door.
America has used torture and rendition and continues to flout international law by putting people in cages without charge or trial. America doesn’t care how many civilians it kills in its operations. It has lost any sense of morality (assuming it ever had any). America, though in theory it is bankrupt, continues to spend money it doesn’t have on its military and on wars. It does so by borrowing or printing money. The leaders of America even stifle dissent from their citizens and spy on them. American authorities have built large numbers of concentration camps and many Americans are afraid of what they may be used for.
The graphic image shown above shows Americans in a theater of war where, typically, its enemies are poorly armed and have no aircraft, warships or armored tanks. As you can see, there is lots of one-sided destruction and slaughter.
Friends, I can’t name the day that America started WW3. It might have happened soon after the collapse of Russia when some General remarked to a President, “Well, I guess we’re top dog now. In theory we could control the world, make it into a place for our exclusive benefit! Who could stop us?”
Regardless of when it started, that it is happening is inarguable. That it is not as obvious as the attack by Germany and Japan was in WW2 is clear. Subtlety was called for in case the world became alarmed. And that Russia, China and India are aware of American intentions is also inarguable.
But the aim of U.S. leaders and those in the Pentagon as shown by their actions is clear: world domination. In this goal, the leaders are supported by the corporations, the ultra-wealthy, the Jewish Lobby, the financial institutions, and even some misguided countries like the U.K. and Australia, etc.
Friends, the eventual, militaristic reaction by other competing world powers who are excluded from the U.S. dominated Western Bloc is just a matter of time. Let’s hope that the U.S. goes bankrupt before a nuclear war begins or let’s hope that the American people can be woken from their sleep and educated to see what their leaders and the vested interests are up to and, for the sake of world peace, get rid of them.
The very idea that peace can be achieved by invading countries and slaughtering people defies all logic – such a notion is completely deranged!
Wake up your friends, your neighbors, your work colleagues, people in the U.S. Armed Forces! March, write letters to newspapers, agitate and protest.
America must be stopped one way or another before we have no world.
P.S. This is a link to ICH and an article by Peter Chamberlain. It echoes my thoughts!
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article24272.htm
A FEW FACTS!
- US military spending accounts for 48 percent, or almost half, of the world’s total military spending. It spent over $700 billion in 2008.
- US military spending is more than the next 46 highest spending countries in the world combined.
- US military spending is 5.8 times more than China, 10.2 times more than Russia, and 98.6 times more than Iran.
SOCRATES: AN ICON.
DRIVEN AS IT IS BY AN EXTREME RELIGIOUS, MILITARIST, RACIST, CORPORATIST, GREED-BASED IDEOLOGY, THE U.S. MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO GAIN CONTROL OF THE WORLD!

David this is a great post. WW3 has started, long ago and incrementally as you say. The American people are so dumbed down that I fear it’s too late to break through to any mass logic that might lie somewhere inside their brains. They won’t wake up until they hurt. When they hurt as much as the Iraqi mother whose child was just blown to kingdom come, then they will begin to wake up. When foreign troops occupy our soil and won’t go away, then they will start to wake up. If complete economic failure happens, then they will wake up. But not until then.
I was hoping that the economic failure would come quickly. It would be devastating but the American people would be shocked into waking up. Many of us will die when the economy fails. There are already many families who have lost their homes here and living in tent cities. But even though there is this new class of homeless people, Americans mostly still think that homeless people are those old drug addicts, alcoholics. schizophrenic Viet Nam war vets that have been homeless for years. Not true! It seems that people in my country just can’t change their thinking patterns.
You said there are many lines used to justify American’s empire building and that is true. The one that you mentioned that I’ve heard the most is ‘We have to fight there so that we don’t have to have a war on our own soil.’ And Americans believe that! We are always reminded of how many people want to get over here to kill us where we live. So WW3 started against the American people many years ago too. I can’t blame people around the world for wishing that the American people could wake up and get a taste of what their government is doing to all these other nations and people.
Money and power drives this empire building. I wish we could all come to understand that printing press money (backed by nothing) only has whatever value that we agree to believe it has. Fractional reserve banking is one of the biggest lies ever told. People do not understand that our federal reserve monetary system is a fragile house of cards that counts on us being sheep and believing in it. This monetary system is a debt system. When the bank loans us money ….lets say they loan us $1000….they make that money up…out of thin air. They don’t have to use a printing press for this loan. They just add some numbers to their books and they place a $1000 credit into our bank account. But they charge us interest. So to pay off this $1000 loan, we have to pay back maybe $1,100 including the interest. The problem is, when they create the $1000 out of thin air to loan us, they DON’T create the extra $100 in interest. Since that $100 interest is never created, that means there will always be a shortage of money in the whole system of circulating money. An entire nation and an entire world becomes indebted to banks and can never be out of debt unless they file for bankruptcy. But assets can be forfeited in a bankruptcy. Poor countries forfeit land and resources to settle their debts. America will be no different. Debts will come due that America can’t pay. Consider this too: China holds a lot of American debt. If America can’t pay then California is one of the hardest hit areas of foreclosed properties just waiting to be bought for pennies on the dollar. China cuts a deal to buy up California to satisfy parts of the debt owed??? It’s a theory. The American government is in bed with the banks so why couldn’t they cut a deal like that with China? China will either get repaid with money or with resources. The banks will too. The banks love war. They get to create money to finance both sides! They don’t care who wins. They make interest off both sides. Nations become heavily indebted from wars. America is bankrupt because of wars. Empire building is costly. All the other empires have fallen because of this. America will fall too. America WILL fall too!!!!
I would like the economic/monetary system to be the way they fall rather than have a nuclear war. We could all bring it down with civil disobedience if we only knew!!!!! It could be done in a week!!

Kathy, yours is an excellent comment. The U.S. could be brought down easily if the American people stopped loaning money to banks, taking out loans, paying taxes, joining the military, voting, buying shares, buying American products, etc.
I know this is a big ask and it would cause a lot of short term difficulties but it is the only way to break the vested interest’s grip on power.
The vested interests are taking America in the wrong direction! They need to be toppled.

I just had to ask a question concerning one thing you said in this excellent post. You mentioned that there is “doubt” that the U.S. actually put men on the Moon. Can you elaborate? Thanks.

Bruce, rumour has it that the U.S. feared the Russians were ahead of them in rocket technology.
To overcome this, Hollywood was invited to create a moonscape in a studio and the whole thing was fabricated there from beginning to end. If you see the footage (some of which, mysteriously, is now missing) the scene looks highly artificial.
The main proof for me is that the U.S. has never been back there! Surely, if the mission had been successful, the U.S. would’ve put a military base there and a couple of Starbucks!
P.S. If you type into Goggle: ‘Was the moon landing faked?’ you’ll find plenty of articles about this.

Hello David -
I respectfully disagree. My father worked as an engineer at the Cape back in the 60s and I came to know the space program really well. I’m aware of the fact that we were trying to beat the Russians to the Moon but I also know that they were nowhere near to that goal. After the Soviet Union fell we were allowed access to some of the vehicles that were being developed for the Russian Moon missions and they were something that was more fitting for PR than an actual space mission. Very crude. If I have been a cosmonaut I would have refused to go in something so primitive. Also, the Russian launch vehicle had a bad reputation for blowing up on the pad. There was a saying throughout much of the 60s with respect to the Russian space program “They got there first, but we got there better.” By the end of the decade it was clear to any objective observer that the Russians were “losing” the Space Race and would have to confine their efforts to manned orbital missions (Mir, etc.) and unmanned space probes in the Solar System. Even their version of the space shuttle was a near copy of ours that only flew once by remote control (no crew) and was then shelved.
I know about the Hollywood representation (there was a movie that used this scenario) and there are articles on the internet about this supposed hoax. I have to say that I will look at what you suggested but I doubt that I will find anything of real substance. If you say that the photos and videos from the Moon were taken on a set somewhere I would have to say that there is one bit of evidence that springs to mind. In one of the lunar missions the astronauts placed a mirror array on the surface that is still used to determine the distance to the Moon using lasers beamed from Earth. That mirror had to placed there by hand. I would also ask how the astronauts were made to look like they were hopping along in 1/6 G with dust very slowly settling around them if they were in the 1 G of Earth on a set.
As to why we didn’t go back that is the result of the program being dismantled. Even the Saturn V was scuttled. We had accomplished the goal that Kennedy started and the country went on to other matters like being dragged down into the quagmire of Vietnam, a foreign policy and humanitarian disaster that we are emulating today in the Middle East. I should point out that NASA is developing a new, larger version of the Apollo command module and a new booster. There are Moon missions being planned and plans to go to Mars as well. I think you should consider that the conjunction of scientists, engineers and technicians that was assembled to create the original manned program was an extraordinary achievement. They really did build vehicles that got us to the Moon and resulted in 12 men walking on it’s surface. I am quite sure about that.

David, I agree with everything you just said except for buying American made products. There just aren’t that many to buy. Most everything here is made in China, Japan, Mexico, etc etc.. That’s why many are unemployed here. Their jobs were outsourced to another country.
I don’t think we’re going to be able to wait until the next elections in November of 2010. I know that many people are saying that we can “vote the criminals out of office” when the time comes. Why vote one out when all we’re going to get is a new criminal in it’s place?
I think if the American people ever understand the banking/monetary system and how the Internal Revenue service is just a collection agency for the banks there would be a revolution in this country within hours! There is no joke more sick than the one pulled on the American people who are told from cradle to grave that they are the most free people on Earth! It must be very funny for the elite scum bags to watch us and laugh at what slaves we really are. Funny for them to have created this illusion for us to live in, never learning the truth.
I would love to see the American people be able to complete one act together. I would love to hear a conversation between the likes of Rupert Murdoch and Ted Turner something like this:
“Oh my god Ted! The sheeple aren’t watching tv today either!” “I know Rupert, it’s been a week now. What are they up to?” “Do you think the herd is becoming organized in some way?” “I don’t know Ted. Is it possible that they are learning to think for themselves and work together?” “But how could that be? We covered all our bases to make sure they never think for themselves.” “I don’t know but we must think of something quick! We can never lose control!! ” …………

What the elite didn’t count on, was the rise of the internet, so that ordinary people can become educated about banksterism. I got my copy of THE CREATURE FROM JECKYLL ISLAND, from Midas Resources, over the internet. End the fed! There is such pending legislation, with bipartisan support. Alleluia!
Some analysts have argued that the willingness of people to accept that there is a god directing the affairs of mankind, from on high, conditions them to accept the fraud that the banks and their controlled government are imposing on us, and all they can. Iran has its own bank, and that is why the zionist banking establishment and their militarists/media are propogandizing, night and day, for our forces to go after Iran’s.

Therese, Wonderful post! I have not read the creature from Jeckyll Island but have read about it. Where the elites met in secret and formed a new monetary system for the USA. The Federal reserve act was passed in 1913 as the final product of the secret meeting of Jeckyll Island. Most of our legislators were gone home for Christmas break. Those few remaining got a 2/3 vote to bring the federal reserve bank into play. Congress gave their right to make our money to a private banking cartel. They named it ‘Federal’ so the American people would think it was a government entity. By 1929 we were in a depression. The federal reserve that was given a monopoly over our money supply in 1913 had contracted/ shrunk the money supply and bankrupted the nation by 1929. In 1933 we were truly known to be a bankrupt nation. FDR started the new deal. We had to apply for social security numbers. WE had to register our children with the government when they were born via the birth certificate. There were literal studies to show what we were worth upon our birth as collateral to the bankers. ( We are still registered as collateral to the bankers.) There were bonds bought under our birth certificate registration numbers. We are only commodities to them. ….projected to be worth so much $$$ during our lifetimes.
Iran has it’s own bank. Yes! And so did Iraq and Afghanistan before we invaded. I saved an article for that subject somewhere but can’t find it now. In that article, 7 countries didn’t have a central bank. Iraq and Afghanistan were two of the 7 countires. Now that we have invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, 5 countries don’t have a central bank. Iran is one of them and I think Syria is another. But until I find that article, I don’t know who is next!! You’re correct Therese. They are setting up central banking in all nations. Slow and steady….WW3 banking gets put into place!!

Good question: When did it start?
I am sure like an abuser “grooms” its victim, suddenly, apparently, everything changed on one day in America. Americans seemingly accepted, or our media told us, that the majority of Americans accepted that, “Everything changed on 9/11/2001.” We have gone along with that ever since!! What?? I am a nobody and me and the other nobodys all asked, “Why do they hate us so much that they would do this?” Bush answered, ” They hate us for our freedoms!” As one by one of our freedoms have been methodically stripped from us by our own government!! Furthermore, he said, “The best thing you can do (now that 3000 Americans (the kind that show up for work early in the morning and have kids at home) were murdered on American soil by Saudi’s – wealing boXcutters!!) Is go, go shopping!” ‘We will bomb everybody but the Saudis! We will walk through flower gardens, hand in hand with Saudis, and have no mercy for the Americans in Hurricane Katrina!!’
Gee, America seems weak to me if a small group of criminal nuts could take down a Nation As Great As America with some boxcutters.
Whaddup?
Real Americans always root for the “underdog.” Bin Laden was supposedly angry about the treatment of the Palestinian people. God and Government -forbid- we actually listen to his gripe and act appropriately.
America has been hijacked. We are in a 9/11 time waarp.
Yesterday, the local news showed heightened security at the airport. Increased pat-downs and holds. Everey person they interviewed was relieved that they were stepping up the security. Even if it meant an inconvenience. Of course, I want to be safe too. There is a fine line of desiring safety – and the “worldview” that demands these measures.

I can also offer up my own source. Please got to Google and type in Mythbusters Moon Hoax. This is a couple of men who specialize in debunking many of the urban legends and other beliefs that people hold. They go after the claim about the divergent shadows on the Moon and others. By the way, did any of the supporters of the Moon hoax stuff bother to ask themselves about Apollo 13? If all the astronauts did was fly around in orbit and then come home why did they stage the explosion of the service module and the resulting efforts to bring the crew home? For NASA to have faked that would have only lessened their credibility about maintaining a viable space program AND the funding necessary to pay for it.

Grace, you nailed it. The whole world changed on 9/11. We the sheeple were so traumatized that we would be willing to get even with the culprits who caused this!! Yes! The American people want war against whoever caused this!!! And although the news showed us that most of these potential boxcutter weilding terrorists were from Saudi Arabia, we had to go to war in AFGHANISTAN because THAT country was harboring Bin Ladin!! George W told us that we will root out evil wherever it rears it’s ugly head!! That was 8 years ago. We have had 8 years to look back and study the situation. We simply can’t claim to be dumb after 8 years!! And yet we are.
While we have been dumb, they have passed the patriot act to infringe on our liberties. They have created the department of homeland security. FEMA has even more powers than ever before….(and they did such an outstanding job during Katrina didn’t they???)
And on December 17th, Obama signed an executive order to give complete immunity to interpol in Amerika! WE were still tied up in the Copenhagen treaty conversation and whether the health care bill would pass the senate or not……… the news didn’t report it here.
By this executive order, the interpol now has more power than any of our law enforcement agencies, our courts, or our constitutional law. They can arrest you and hold you on charges indefinately and you can’t even take them to court because they are immune. Reagan recognized them as an agency back in the ’80’s he gave them SOME immunities but left a couple of blocks in place to the American peoples’ benefit. Obama just amended this to take away the blocks that protected Americans. WHY???? And why did our main stream media NOT tell us???? Oh yeah, they were probably still talking about health care and Tiger Woods!
WW#3 started before 9/11 but it was greatly amplified after 9/11. Go google search the PNAC report. This was prior to 9/11 and it lays out the plans that the American people could only be talked into a big war if we had another event such as Pearl Harbor. 3000+ people dying in the towers, pentagon and the Pennsylvania field got them the desired result of another Pearl Harbor didn’t it? We WERE groomed for that!!
Okay, we were groomed to take out Saddam because he had weapons of mass destruction, he had brutalized his own people, and he gave safe haven to Al qaeda? He is dead. There were never any WMD’s found and who knows about any CIA ties that might have been there?
Bin Laden is most likely dead. Yet we are STILL in Afghanistan. (They have an important pipeline and the poppy trade) Iraq has oil. We are positioning in Pakistan, now Yemen and soon Iran? But Iran is a problem. They have commerce with China and Russia. If we bomb there we will make outright enemies with China and Russia. Hmmmmm? What to do??? China holds so much of our debt???????? Russia has nuclear submarines off the coasts of America in position to strike at any given time. What to do????? How will this next phase come down? I’m not sure. But I think Israel will strike at Iran and we will simply be positioned in the mid east to have their backs. Coco mentioned in another thread and I commented there….Something wicked this way comes!
But how do I know? All through my years of growing up I was brainwashed with the fact that the communists were coming to get us. We had to go wherever communism was growing (Viet nam was one place) and fight them. Now it’s Islamic terrorists. How will I know if Russia really has submarines ready to strike us in order to defend Iran? How do I know that this latest airplane terrorist action is real? I don’t know. That’s the problem. Americans don’t know exactly what is real and what isn’t. Americans are trapped in WW#3 for many decades and they don’t even know what the hell they are doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kathy, your last paragraph was particularly strong. It’s great that Americans, when they get their minds around the fact that they’ve been indoctrinated feel anger then quickly start to connect the dots.
We can only hope that this change continues to expand. We are all working towards that end!

Bruce, thanks for your well supported reply above.
It’s a shame that we live in a world where the word of any Government can’t be trusted anymore. Look at WMDs. Even with 9/11 there is a suggestion that 2+2 might not be 4.
You may be right of course. But remember, false flag operations are popular and politicians are not the most honest of people and will engage in deceptions at the drop of a hat.

Hello David -
Thanks for the reply. I have to agree with you about 9/11. I am still not convinced that the “official” story from the 9/11 Commission is correct, particularly with respect to World Trade Center 7. That has always seemed like the Achilles Heel of the whole thing. IF WTC7 came down due to something other than damage from WTC 1 and 2 then the whole thing falls apart. It is also tragic how Americans have moved on and have largely forgotten about 9/11. We seem more satisfied with a memorial on the site than finding out the truth. At the very least there are many contradictions that justify the re-opening of an independent commission. I doubt that will ever happen. We definitely seem to be in decline, not only because of a class of criminal oligarchs but also because there is so little real citizenship in our society. One last thing for now – I am waiting for January 12, 2010. On or about that day we are expected to hear the ruling by the Supreme Court concerning the rescinding of political campaign contribution limits by corporations. They are expected to rule in favor of eliminating the limit. To me, that would be one of the final nails in the coffin of American democracy. We seem to be living through a second Civil War except that this time the enemy isn’t the Confederate States of America but the would be Corporate States of America. That would be a country I am not interested in living in.

Bruce

The graphic showing American bases is qute eye opening. I do think that America’a time as sole Superpower is faltering. I can’t see how students looking back at how America conducted itself during its dominace will be able to say it was a success. It created its own problems with Afghanistan, Al Queada and Iraq and all came back to haunt it, and us, years later.
That said, whether China or a newly created European state as top dog will do any better is debatable.

I don’t think you’ve lost your marbles, David. The US has been bent on world domination since WWll. I disagree that it was in response to the USSR, though.
After WWll, when the Russians had had enough of war, and overthrew the czar, 14 countries, including the US, invaded the new soviet union. It obviously was in no condition to invade anyone. They didn’t want the example of worker’s control to spread.
The FBI was used to attack leftists in the US, and many were deported or arrested.
There was a brief time in the 40s, when the US and the USSR were allies, when the propaganda slowed, but right after the war, it started again, and the US set up a secret network of ex-nazis and other fascists, called the stay behind network, to attack the USSR and also to attack leftists in the various countries. The US dropped napalm on Greece shortly after the war to stop a communist victory. Of course the main fascist resistors in Europe were communists. It was like a horror movie, when the heroine faces the villain and the sheriff comes and turns out to be in cahoots with the villain. The US backed the fascists against the communists and supported purges and massacres.
Of course the USSR was in no position to attack the US. It lost 20 million people to the German invasion. They were as devastated as the rest of Europe.
Only the US came out of WWll in good shape. It used that advantage to consolidate its attempt at world domination, as you pointed out in your blog.
It looks like it’s time for the empire to collapse. Will it go peacefully, like Great Britain?
Or will it go out flailing like a wounded giant, killing as many as possible as it goes down?
I don’t have a good feeling about this.
