The True King Of World Leaders!

evomorales

A man has emerged from Copenhagen who stands head and shoulders above other world leaders. That man is Evo Morales, the President of Bolivia, a tiny country in South America.

He is a straight-talking member of the indigenous people of Bolivia, one who tells it like it is. According to al Jazzera, he said: “The principle obstacle to combating climate change is capitalism. Until we put an end to capitalism, it will continue to be a big obstacle for life and humanity.”  Wow!

He added that he does not believe there will be a deal in Copenhagen and he lays the blame with the world’s richest countries, increasing industrialization and the pursuit of profit. What a scathing condemnation of the Western world and its ‘values’.

It comes from a man who observed that the ‘white poncho’ or snow which covers the mountains in his country is melting and with it goes Bolivia’s water supply and that means difficult times ahead for his people who are already poor. He is a leader like Chavez. He cares deeply about those who live in poverty.

Evo Morales has identified the reality that the rich nations really don’t give a stuff about the plight of people from poor, undeveloped countries so busy are they gorging at the capitalist trough while destroying the environment.

Of course, let’s be clear.  It’s not the average person in rich nations who is gorging. It’s a handful of wealthy people who control most of the wealth who do the gorging (they’re the ones who live in luxurious mansions in exclusive areas of major cities).

So the battle lines are drawn. Capitalism, via industrialization and greed, is destroying our world and the ones who control the world are not going to change their behaviour unless they are forced to do so.

And how can they be forced to change? There is only one answer that I can see. We, the people, must rise up and depose them, get their claws off the levers, redistribute their wealth, then set up a more just, less greedy world where people share more equally and where all human activity that damages our planet is stopped.

Evo has identified the problem. We, the people, must bring about the solution!

Force may be necessary.

Ah, John, the world needs more people like you!

Of course, there are many things that can be done that don’t involve force. Not buying the products corporations produce, becoming more self-sufficient, encouraging people to despise greed, setting up communes, etc.

The real problem is to get the sheeple to see that they’re being conned by those who profit handsomely from the capitalist system, that they are pawns in a game where there are few winners.

Force may be necessary to depose the Masters of the Universe however. They won’t give up their privileges without a fight!

  2. “If the Climate was a capitalist bank it would have already been bailed out” Hugo Chavez. Well the Left in Latin America is getting stronger every year, imagine if they had Che alive today.

  3. Yes Kemosobi, the left in Latin America is getting stronger and that is why the U.S. is setting up house in Colombia. The U.S. is re-activating the naval fleet for South America and agreements are being made with Colombia to open up U.S. military bases in that country. Mr. Nobel “peace price” Laureate and war president is going to follow the same road map as his predecessors. They will use whatever means at their disposal to exploit the region for the profits of U.S. Corporations which traditionally has been through the use of force and corruption.

  4. I watched Mr. Morales’ interview with Amy Goodman on Democracy Now! and I was really impressed! I emailed a friend of mine after it was over and said how much I liked hearing the leader of a country speak about the issues as Mr. Morales of Bolivia did. I have been taught for much of my life that Central and South America were mostly just “The Third World”. The implication was that those countries were never going to equal the U.S. in social progress and overall well-being. Well, what a difference that a generation can make! South America now seems to be telling the United States a collective NO! when it comes to Business as Usual. Progressive policies are becoming the norm there and the country that remains in the thrall of the U.S. agenda is Colombia, which is a mess.
Remember the scene in “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” where they arrive in Bolivia and Sundance decries the primitive state of everything? I suspect that 50 years from now Bolivian tourists to the U.S. will shake their heads as they wipe our pig crap from their shoes!

  5. Kemosobi, Che was a great man. Others are following in his footsteps.

L.T. The U.S. reminds me of blowflies gathering around road kill. They exploit every opportunity to exploit other people in other nations, to get their ugly warmongering boots in the door, to advance their greedy, imperial quest to control the world. That they are capitalizing on Colombia’s instability, given its proximity to Venezuela, is not surprising.

Bruce, America is an international pariah. It’s no wonder it is so hated by so many!

  6. Evo Morales is demonized here in the US and most people seem to go along with what the MSM and the government say about him. Most, as usual, don’t stop and question what they are being told. They just accept it as the truth or if it is something they don’t like as some sort of “liberal” propaganda.
What the US and the world needs is a lot more leaders like Evo Morales who will make the world more just and fair. What we get is faux change and Obama.
I agree, force will probably be necessary to get rid of those that are now in power, but what is to prevent those that take power after them from being as bad or even worse?
How do we enact change without becoming the very thing we are fighting against?

  8. So what can we do to bring them down? I still say to shut down the central banks. No nation on earth needs a bank to come into their country such as our federal reserve and gain a monopoly on printing that nations currency and then charging us interest on it. Stop the banks to end the greed and shut down the corporations that have grown up around the banks. Okay so that would stop everything. What to do next? What DOES replace the old system?

I’ve heard that the communist manifesto sounded good on paper but somehow didn’t work that well in real life. When I read the definition of capitalism it sounds good on paper too. If I understand it correctly I could decide to produce some kind of widget/product that I think people could benefit from. That makes me a capitalist. I build a building with my own money and I buy the machinery that I will need to build widgets. I hire 100 people and give them jobs. They did not have to pay for the building or the machinery but they are providing the labor to build these widgets which hopefully I will sell enough of to pay 100 paychecks, make enough to live on myself and recoup the costs of my machinery and building.

Just by itself I see nothing wrong with that idea. But then enters the real problem…GREED!! and POWER!! Now I decide I want to make more money so I cut the pay of my workers and ask them to work harder and faster to make more widgets. I see the problem with it and especially if my building is a big factory polluting the air and water. So how do we fix this problem?

Let’s pretend the widget is a hammer or something that many people find useful and there are no more hammer factories. Would you picture more of a local economy as for example every small local area has a hammer maker maybe like a black smith shop?

I just read an article about subsistence farming where families usually grow their own foods that they will need for the year and they do not try to grow extra to sell for a profit. So is that the kind of economy we need,,,, something like subsistence-ism?

  9. Jeannie, anyone who brings into question the capitalist system; the control of the world by corporations, the ultra-rich and religious institutions; and imperialism will be demonized by the U.S.

If the current crop of manipulators are deposed, certainly another group of lowlife will line up to take their place. It would need the involvement of all thinking people to keep them away from the levers of power!

Coco, I watched Obomber at his news conference this morning as he tried to con the world that the U.S. was a big player in the almost worthless agreement that will be voted on later today. He looked what he is: a snake oil salesman!

Kathy, neither communism or capitalism in their pure form are workable. The former turns the sheeple into ambitionless clones while the latter turn them into greedy pigs! If we take a combination of the better aspects of communism and capitalism and combine it with a lifestyle that embraces nature and our place in it, that would seem to be the best solution.

  10. Make no mistake about it. If FORCE is equal to killing I’m allways against.

Your worry is very relevant, Jeannie. Force should only be legitim in the matter of defence ( when a country is invaded).
A regime having violence / force as a building stone, it’s deemed to fail, or it will inevitable before or later confuse offence with defence, visa versa.

An army IS the quintessence of force=violence=death=destruction.

The only force I think is acceptable in a decent society is a baton etc. used by authorities, police etc.

In a community founded on the rule of law, no matter how abominable and murderous 9/11 was, it should NEVER have been leaved to be solved by the military might – neither should a chance of goverment.

I tend to believe that for people to have a steady and decent goverment it have to elect it, it self (by majority), after a mature consideration based on honest and genuine information.
and if it fail to do that it may seem not to deserve a such.
Although it looks, for me, like the American people do not really have a fair choice.

    Genius as always, David.

As for the widget economy :) ha ha ha.. that isn t obviously working. Subsistence-ism sounds like a wonderful idea. Not applicable with the midgets called humans.. but definitely, lovely idea. If only people would HAVE TO grow their food for ONE YEAR they would stop being the disconnected ego inflated midgets who think that the world, ecosystem and economy revolves around Ombellico del Mondo, the allmighty HUMAN.

The EVOLVED HUMAN, that s a different story. I do not claim to be one, but I think I came to know how to spot one. That s why I m here. Learning from evolved humans, who think beyond their nose length.

  13. The care that Evo Morales has for the poorest among him, as well as Venezuela’s leader and Even Castro – frees my heart. These men are true Kings amongst men & women. Compare that with The no care by Obama that the poorest, most of whom are black, (receive). How you treat the least among men is how you will be judged.

What Evo Morales has said is nothing new ,Indigenous peoples have been saying the same thing since the pilgrims landed in North America,The shame of it is our cultures have always been looked at as something to be destroyed for the advance of human progress and civilization,i cant think of anything more primitive than the corporate colonizers that evolved in europe that is the cause of our common abuse till this day =EVO!!!!!!!!!!!=EVOLUTION

To describe the ‘corporate colonizers’ as primitive praises them too much, Jeff! Perhaps lowlife is better or even parasites. Cheers.
