Obama Condemns Iran Government’s Tyranny!

Complete devastation in Gaza and nothing has changed!

This is what real tyranny means, Obama!
Friends, while watching Al Jazzera this afternoon I saw a program on the anniversary of the attack on Gaza by Israel one year ago.
The footage was horrific but what was most disturbing was that in the news headlines shown at the bottom of the screen came the caption shown in the title of this post.
Of course, as you’d know, the Gazans are still living under siege and nothing much has been rebuilt since the Israeli slaughter which killed 1,400 Gazans including 400 children. They are short of medical supplies, food, and have little industry or hope.
Then the thought struck me: Instead of putting the boot into Iran, why doesn’t Obama condemn the tyranny of Israel which has been ongoing for 60 years?
Why doesn’t he condemn the genocide which Israel engages in, the many war crimes, the house demolitions, the land stealing, the settlements, the brutal oppression, etc.
Perhaps it’s because the Israelis use arms supplied by America to kill Palestinians. Perhaps it’s because he must bend his knee to the Jewish lobby otherwise he won’t be re-elected. Perhaps it’s because he has no sense of morality or justice. Perhaps he knows he must serve the insatiable, profit-driven demands of the military-industrial alliance in his country. Who would know?
I’ve included a couple of photographs from the Gaza slaughter that happened during the festive season one year back. Disgusting aren’t they? They show a small fraction of the devastation and death.
Then I guess it’s no different to what the U.S. and its Allies are doing every day in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, etc, is it?
What about U.S. tyranny, Obama? Or, as with the Israelis, doesn’t that count?

What Israel has been doing to the Palestinians for the past 60 years is staggering. How America can continue to support and give military and financial assistance to a country that performs war crimes and crimes against humanity as calijed by the United Nations is deplorable.
Until America stops this support and ceases its vetoing of Un Resolutions against it, Israel will continue to murder and take the land of the Palestinians.
Israel is rightly the most reviled country on the planet and it will continue to be so until it elects a leader will an iota of ethics, morals and sees its actions as abhorrent a the rest of us.

David, I enjoy your blog and your insights. I hope you reconsider. The blog does get your mind off personal issues which may depress you even more than US imperialism! Or maybe not. US imperialism is pretty depressing.
Best of luck and health to you.

Iran has no lobby, therefore no clout…no sway on a government that bows to the highest bidder, unlike Israel. And so it will remain until the US electorate makes a firm decision to remove money from politics. (Not like that’s going to happen, but it had to be said.)
On the plus side…perhaps the Iranians will threaten to ‘punch the US in the face’ as they did to the UK yesterday.

We are all of us complicit in this horror…but guilt and fear are not the ansewr as they lead to ignorance and aggression…love is the only answer…do not be misled by the apparent reality we see…there is an implicate order that is alongside the obvious explicate order..I know that in order to maintain my sanity I cannot focus on the obvious horrors of our upside down world…our long term strategy has to be on growing the good in our own acre..TIKKUN..Jewish belief in caring for what you can around you..and truly letting the rest go as much as possible. Wagelaborer, it is much better when I concentrate on the blog. Thanks for your kind thoughts.
Kvatch, I believe that Iran is capable of putting up serious resistance. They’re not like the Palestinians with homemade rockets and a few rifles!
Grace, I agree that there has been a shift in the world attitude to Israel. They ignore it of course as does the U.S. There is a great deal of fear in the world. People don’t know who to believe anymore!
Kate, I agree about nurturing your own acre but we must do our best to try to right the terrible wrongs that exist in our world, expose the monsters that are calling the shots, decry greed and injustice otherwise our acre will be polluted and poisoned by what surrounds it!
Cheers to all.

to me, the picture of the innocent child buried by rubble as a result of bombardment, is the epitome of cowardice………..
and in my mind, anyone who partakes in this procedure is a coward. if any of the pilots dropping bombs on innocent civilians were asked to bury people by hand, i doubt if they would agree.
but safe behind their protected shields of metal and velocity, they are immune to the suffering they perpetrate.
mankind, from time immemorial has been warmongering. but at least before the days of technology, battles were fought hand to hand, and with some equality. nowadays, it’s dependent on resources, finances and cowardice. (and experiments, if you include hiroshima and nagaski.)
we are systematically bombing ourselves back into the stone age. which combined with the disregard we have for our beautiful planet, won’t be too long in coming to fruition.
and i have to add here, (being a vegan) that if we had to individually slaughter animals for meat, whether we would willingly go into a factory farm and slit a cow’s/pig’s/sheep’s/chicken’s throat? see what i mean about cowardice?……………..

Coco, when the Palestinians sent suicide bombers into Israel, the Israelis were frightened. They were getting some of their own back!
But now the concrete wall is built and the Palestinians are divided, the Israelis act with impunity, with total disregard for International Laws and Conventions.
The Palestinians should have continued with their armed resistance. It’s the only thing that brings pressure to bear on the Israeli Jews.

Coco, I think you’re correct and probably the reason that Americans are so docile over these wars. How many were killed in Viet Nam? Americans revolted over that. So many body bags coming back to the USA….was it 58,000 or more? Now how many killed in these wars of aggression? Is it up to 5,000 yet?
One is too many but I think comparisons are drawn to the past wars and 5,000 in 8 years is not bad huh? Unless an American has someone killed in Iraq or Afghanistan they tend to shrug and say “well we aren’t losing too many so I’m not worried about it.” If 50,000 soldiers were suddenly returned home in body bags then Americans might revolt.
But instead, I’ve seen many articles praising the wonders of un-manned drones that can go deliver bombs from the comfort of a soldier’s computer chair guiding that drone like he’s playing a video game. That is the king of cowardice in my opinion, and Americans applaud the technology!! WE are a sick bunch!!

What you are saying is by far the gentles description of the despicable way we humans treat and ignore and accept the treatment of our daily meal, the animal. Who has no say, no choice, no importance, other than to stuff our gluttoneous bellies.
Ah, but the hipocrisy… and here comes the average intellectual human, or the highly skilled and educated MD, PPD, PPHD. BBSC, etc etc all these pompous names they like to confer themselves..
I quote one hypotethical such average Human; But then Coco, where are you going to get your protein from? and
but Coco, where are you going to take your vitamin12? your health will suffer.
So let s continute to treat animals like shit, and slaughter and torture them for therir meats, eggs, and furs, and skin.. as we all humans are.. special.
Here I have to agree with Coco. Human is a despicable selfish animal, who thinks he s great.
no wonder he has compassion for nothing and no one.
No wonder he is meant to be auto destroyed.

our ancestors knew.. that animal was part of the “family” in a sense. He was revered at the point of slaughter, and his life was taken with respect. It was not something done for “pleasure” , as I d llike to try that new restaurant today. It was a mean of subsistance, in cold wheater, and it was likely to be avoided in hot wheater. I do not 100% condemn the use of meat in alimentation. There are good people who still need and use meat, in a respectful way.
We are tough un educated again, we imagine green pastures and think animals are enjoying being slaughtered for us. We are selfish ignorant bastards.
No wonder.. a walking grave is a walking grave.
al those hormones of fear, and sufference, all that abuse of artificial hormones, cannibalistic practices caused by lack of proper nutrition and by suffocating places.. the inhumane transportation, the feces.. etc.. we are eating the results of again, greedy capitalistic practices and our own ignorance.
Religion in its stupidity knew that fast is important, because human is a greedy ass…
religion in its stupidity knew and perpetrated practices of purification and symnbolistic ritual of animal killing..
Not because they meant good. But to them, human being a scarce capital, it was important to be preserved and kept alive.. to submit and produce for the church,.
Now the idiot human who thinks that he matters, is not realizing that due to exponential increase, he became disposable, not only, undesirable,.
So eat eat eat shit.
No wonder.. you little world is going down the drain, little human.
I wont cry over it.

Dear Adina
I agree a with you 100% that human is nothing more than a despicable selfish animal and because of this, our co-inhabitants / on this globe will be freed, immensely and outragerous human-inflicted sufferings.
If you have seen (the) film clips / footage exposed on the telly from animal transportations where e.g. cow’s, pig’s are forced by whatever the ‘his master’ has invented of mean tools to inflict pain, in order to ‘tell’ the animal the way to go – up onto the lorry in order to be carried to the slaugtherhouse – which carriage can go on for days (without water supply etc.)..
then it is easy to agree on that the denotion “homo stupiduos cruelty” of the beast (created in the image of GOD!!! ) is immensely suitable.
When that is said, I do think it may be possible to give a domestic prodution of ‘aliment’ animals a good life in the free (without inflicted pains) e.g. Pigs must live their whole life in an open invironment, from dawn to dust with what this species like and are acustomed to from wild life etc. until,,, the time comes ,, after growing up… to be slaughtered / eated.
“Slaughter / eat it”. sounds heartless, but life IS a heartless matter Adina.!!
We, all, are sat here, on earth, without being asked before hand.
The question -( if asked beforehand) would I have “thanked NO” to this life, if I had known the conditions ?. a hard question to take a stand on – isn’t it ?
Anyway, as we know, a ir-relevant thought-experiment when it is one’s parents who’ve done the decision making for us (or have they?) maybe true in 10% or so,, I believe, NOT, in my case..
“Please eat meat or eggs from farms that really take care of the animals.”..
yes definitely – be more aware and also – never throw away. Unfortunatley, the today world is a THROW AWAY SOCIETY of ingratitudeness.
It is alarming and appalling if you knew how much is thrown away – out in the containers, especially from big supermarkets, restaurants etc. because of date-stamp outdatings etc.
Concludingly, remember, the lion is a part, a modest member of the (big picture) of the ‘footchain’.
To take some responsibility from my shoulders, It isn’t me who have decide that my life should be lived in the package of a ‘homo stupidous’.
or
IF I were born as a pig, and had to live my life as such, then I would’ve prefere to be (slaughthered) by a gun(shot (considering I didn’t know what was going to happen) instead of being chased in the wild (frightened to dearh) by a ferocious lion.
Which in dreams is frightening enough – I can tell you (if you haven’t tried) – it seems/feels like the legs will not operate.
Have fun
Adina

Dearest John, you are indeed a delightful person, and your ideas are a wonderful contribution to convince me again, that wonderful people do exist on this planet. Like you say it, ““homo stupiduos cruelty” so nicely put. seems to overtake nice people in numbers.

I quote you: The question -( if asked beforehand) would I have “thanked NO” to this life, if I had known the conditions ?. a hard question to take a stand on – isn’t it ?
It is indeed a hard question. And I do not know how to answer it. But most probably in my case, I would have say NO Thank you. I don t want it.
again, agree with you, again : “this is an ir-relevant thought-experiment when it is one’s parents who’ve done the decision making for us (or have they?) maybe true in 10% or so”
The problem is that our parents most likely did not ask themselves
AM I FULFILLED as an individual
AM I COMPLETELY HAPPY by my own means and capacities
AM I MATERIALLY SOUND in this materialistic reality
AM I READY TO DEVOTE AND DEDICATE big (majority) of my time to my offspring
DO I WANT HIM?HER OUT OF LOVE
or…
No. They followed SOCIETY INDICTMENTS. They followed you are here, you make kids, you work, you die. That is life.
IS IT?
And they perpetuated misery, and contributed to self inflicted pain, putting their hopes int he fact that the OFFSPRING will be the source of their happiness. What a shallow happiness that is, when it is based on selfish thoughts strongly believed to be self-sacrifice and generosity and love.. Most of the people are like: oh yeeeaaa I LOOOOVE children.. and then you tell them .. adopt.. Oh but wait.. I love.. children.. but.. they must be … mine. So these “children” are not there yet, but they are LOVED already. Loved as in concept.. ? of what? OF SELF ? Of perpetuating ONE SELF?
However, before reproduce.. how many of us do such a mental exercuise and ensure themselves that they have all resources (mental, physical, emotional, financial) to take care of another human being who never asked to be brought into these world?
My guess is that the number of people who analyze this before acting are infinitesimal. Almost ZERo. That is why the human rat, in its selfish exhuberance, makes human life cheaper and cheaper by each day of its exponential reproduction bonanza.
God.. i talk too much.
Thank you for your patience with me.. and my somber thoughts.
Love.

Adina, you are right about the way humans treat animals. Here is Northern California, we are fortunate to have “organically raised MEAT” It is a brutal side of life even when done ethically! I was a vegetarian for many years. Unfortunately, at that time, I was still learning about what the body needs to survive and thrive. I ended up extremely unhealthy. To the point that when I finally ate some meat, it felt like some vital medicine that my body craved.
Interestingly, for the new year, my husband said he wanted us to eat mostly vegetarian, with the occasional meat. Since then, I have made lentil soup, split pea, spaghetti and no meat burritos. We have been talking to our son about how back when we humans had to hunt for our food, we didn’t always have meat to eat and is why we we were both hunters and gatherers.
We must leave no stone unturned when living the examined, aware life. Peace.

Dear dear Grace, more than willing! Really glad.as my computer is not w me, pls await till next week. I fully fully agree with u. Bactrial flora .greens. My view is that a cereL rich diet with it’s phtalates etc is too acidic. Right combination of foods. Small quNtities. It s not important what u eat bur what u assimilate n what u eliminate! Disease comes when assimilation n elimination are disrupted. Now. Excess food insuficient flora wrong food combining too heavy liquid fat unnatural exogenous slow down digestion therefore alter assimilation . Altered bacterial florA, fermenting food due to excess qty and wrong mix alters elimination too. Therein vicious circle. One mr thing: oxygen! Oxygen ! Hunter gtherers worked ran hard for food. I Thank you so much for your kind words . I got out of hand with much less than that, – the pleasure is mine, – but I have to tell you, Adina, as you also may know that I’m NOT ‘unruly’ happy to hear, though not surprised, when you tell that you prefere nothingness over a short second of consciousness on this ‘magic carpet’.
I am sorry and can only hope and wish being helpful in sweetening the time left over for you, here, before went to pop the clogs, returning to nothingness.
To begin where you left in the post, Adina, – the somber thoughts.
I don’t think that sombre thoughts is to compare to unhappiness.
Happiness isn’t that easy to define. It is not a fixed measured apportion of feelings and emotions, but more a relative amount of pos/neg. feelings compared to / seen in the light of good / bad experiences from earlier, yesterday, last year or other periodes of lifetime experiences.
Example: if one never ever have experienced the feeling of freezing coldness then, how can one really appreciate warmth – the opposite.?
Isn’t it the Chineese who talk about ying / yang. as. a wave of ying experience will turn into a yang ditto, vice versa.. with warying intensities.
Apropos ” happy Danes”
There has lately been some ‘feel happy’ measurements on the Danish people, said to be in the top (10), when comes to most happy people in the world.
I think such attempts to try to define degrees of happyness is a complete waste of time.and in my opinion is, out right ridicules. Why didn’t they measure sorry or sad feeling at the same time.? – nog the ‘sorries’ weren’t asked at all. ( no interest – too sad!)
Feelings, like love, rage, disappointments, sadness, or whatever you may feel is something you sense when interacting with the world, from where and when a feed back. (if there’s a such!)
Maybe the human being actually has evolved away from being able to a true natural life ?. when the brain obviously find more conveniences and satisfation when projecting or to be occupied by ‘big thoughts’/ projects.
For example to innovate and generate smart equipments as IT gadgets, mobil phones or to make a lunar flights or develop freightening (nuclear) bombs and genious widgets, projecting tall tall buildings e.g.
The latest of a such proud and magnificent beauty is the skyskraper ind Dubai reaching 828 metre up in the sky. ( I think lunacy though).
I have troubles to find a good reason for why such high buildings is really needed. It may have taken heavy resources of energi to raise.
From the homespun philosopher:
It occured to me, how and why the prehistoric animals extinct thousand of years ago, like dinosaurous and mammals, in the physical edition, had grown too big and clumsy to adapt to a rapidly changing environment – Likewise has homo sapient (IQ v.2.0) developed mainly in the mentally capacity, (though also in body dimension) and are now more or less way too overdimensioned with braincapacity to be able to rest in the slowness, tranquility and trustfulness needed to live in peace and harmony with mother nature.
concludingly “The happy Danes”
I don’ t give a damn for the Danish happyness.
As you may all know, now that George Galloway / Viva Palestina has after overcoming several obstacles inflicted by the ‘master of the universe’? at length reached Gaza today. and I congratulate on this achievement.
Nevertheless
What shakes me deeply and makes me wonder, is the fact that there hasn’t been mentioned a single word about this great great event and achievement in the Danish public radio/tv.

Kathy, meant spices to give flavor to food. Typing on this palm is a nightmare. I read ur observations with awe. it is amazing that what u say – neurotransmitters in the gut- is known to docs yet digestion is portrayed by them as a mechanicistic process strictly confined to chemical reactions and pyramids of this and that. Thee are smart ppl who thousands of years ago understood that Gut is a second brain. chinese meddicine of which I am not a big believer has yet a smarter approach and discovered this when allopathic mediciene wasn’t wven born. The only effort today s nutritionists do is to change bewteen the levels of these idioticc food pyramids an give antiacid if the digestion rots. Sad.sad. But geniuses still do exist. Do ppl wonder how come egg is a complete protein n nutritional food yesterday chiken eat grains ony? How come milk is full of minerals fats and proteins and cow eats grass only? Yet cows have fur and big size but thinking like a human the cow may say I m undernourihsed and eat only one type if food daily so I ll lose protein mass my fur my mill hahahahahaha poor cow.:-) so Can t one then by simply thinking ant this see that the equation Is not mecahnicistuc? People are born study work get married hv kids retire and die. That s life and u have to live with that. The pain I felt that time and the fact that somethingg was deeply wrong with that normality fm my perspective is overcome today by the anger I feel that, by living so, the majority of people contribute The hypnotic flow tennyson mentions, a sterile existence guided by anything than real Will, real Choice, real Discernment.

Adina, when I was young and figuring out who I was and wanted to do, my parents told me I needed to prepare for my future and my Retirement!!! I said, “I haven’t even lived yet! I became an art major and they considered me as wasting my life. I could have married successfully many times, but that whole: school (the repetition, memorizing hand chosen facts – the same ones regurgitated since I was 7), marry, provide grandchildren for my insensitive, greedy relatives, die, eluded my sense of meaning and repulsed me. It is only because I am relatively old now, that all I desire is peace and stability. I realize I need these things to artistically thrive.
Craig Ferguson, a late nite TV comedian, said the other nite and I laughed hard. He said,” Oh my God. I am like a prostitute! I work..for money!!”
Isn’t that all of us!
Actually I am home on disability and am grateful to have a reprieve from actively supporting the Military, Prison, Industrial Complex.
You said many brilliant things about the true state of our collective and individual purpose.
I want to respond to so much, but must process in smaller increments. Peace.

Tell me more Grace. I m all ears.
David made this a place of encounter where we all share, I feeel welcome here and I am learning a lot! I love the passion these people put in their posts Nd I read them all avidly. Our life stories are all different yet so similar.
I indeed thought of this “prostitution ” concept myself but was so so glad to hear it is a mutual feeling of inteligent people. Rarely do jobs and compnies allow one to be oneself. Everyhibg from dress code to much more insidious And abusive intrusive
matters are imposed upon the genuinely “ignorant” employee who may not even be aware of time of being just a subject of continuous conditioning.
apologies for my delay with recipes. I still dnt have my computer. Unless you are diabetic, I love starting my day with a blended fruit smoothies. Any fruit combination will do. I use papya. Banana dragon fruit and add coconut , fresh. Any other fruits will be jst as good. Experiment with the combinations. Also. Very important. Once every two weeks I grind linen seeds sesame sunflower pumpkin seeds with coffee grinder until they become powder. I put the powder in a tight jar and keep in the fridge. Every morning i add two tea spoons of this powder to my fruit smoothies. In addition to providing essential fatty acids and fiber if slows the absorbtion of sugars from fruit which is better. Coconut itself has a fantastic fatty profile with medium chain triglycerides and antimicrobial and antifungal effect. The coconut meat must be fresh. This is a very healthy way to start the day.

I know a bit about ur condition from previous posts ( year ago or so).. How is it these days ? How are you coping with it? What have you tried new? I feel so so so sad to hear many good good people struggle and one favorite past time for me is to seek ideas and solutions which we may try together in a quest for better health. Despite of lack of religious belonging I cam across the Essene gospel of peace mainly because I was interested in raw food theories. Read that Grace. Read it as a metaphor. Funny that the church did hide these documents for so long they don t fit the indoctrination agendA. Pls don’t forget the time thy were written and use not cold intellect to decipher it’s meaning more common sense than intellect. It goes down to basically five things. Eat live food fruits seeds veggies. Touch the earth. Get sun. Let wind and sun energize you. Use water internally and externally to cleanse. Basic huh? But nowDays who touches the earth anylonger? Who walKs bare foot? We fear the sun and live in fluorescent light from mercury bulbs. We eat rotten dead food. Our bodies are covered and hidden and disconnected fm nature. No wonder. Even science starts to uncoverthat grounding one to earth draws the static and maybe more fm our bodies. Sun regulates pituitary gland and hormones and vitamin d and who knows what else. Raw food is full of citMins minerals enzymes and live wAter biologically active I mean. Maybe the ppl who wrote those texts thousands years ago knew by common sence whAt we are discoverign nowadays with much dealy despite technological advances. Pls tell me Your opinion abt it. ThAnk u

Adina, I read somewhere that it is supposed that Jesus was Essene. I haven’t gone out to research that but from my readings it seems that Essene and gnostic were more spiritual ways to think and live. They didn’t live by the ‘Letter of the law’. They lived by the law of love more than rituals.

I realize when reading these posts and all who contribute that I am inspired to see how many of my private thoughts (most people don’t want to really know you)are articulated by each of you..we are so separate in the real world and yet thru technology I can connect to your ideas, thoughts, feeling and amazing insights and wisdom…I live in an apt bldg with 63 other residents and we are very separate…in this modern world we are increasingly isolated and fearful..no wonder we are all a little “out of balance”..yet I feel such a hunger in everyone for what is real..this post lets me connect in ways that in my everyday life is seldom poissible…so I am shy of groups yet realize how very important it is to connect as much as possible with others…I live alone by choice and only sometimes is it lonely..so David thank you so much for what all you do to make it possible to reach out in this increasingly disconnected world..Kathy Grace Adina John Therese..so many…I think that those of us who are still humans being, we are inexorably drawn to one another to help form the interconnected web of consciousness that is reaching critical mass and to step out in love and faith with calmness is what I foresee of the future..love to all…Kate

Grace…you say you are on Disability (as am I)..FROM THE PRISON MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX..DID YOU WORKsorry caps for the system? I am wanting to know how you view your part as a cog in that particular system..I was in the Health “care” system and it got me to understand somewhat about systems and how they are set up to address large numbers of people and wind up always manipulating the individual…I have great compassion for the inmates locked up in military and prisons…it is an axiom that predatory Capitalism makes money on the people’s ignorance and misery…like a waterfall it seeks it’s lowest level and cavitates..economic structures and power represent the Love of Money as the root of all evil…

Kate, I think you’re right that we are reaching critical mass. It’s great that we have the internet to bring us all to this wonderful place that David created!
I enjoy being alone most of the time too. I still have two children living with me and another that comes here to eat very often. But when I go out in public I feel surrounded by zombies!
I’m very thankful for everyone who leaves their very important comments here. They nourish my soul….

Good evening up north, Kate
“beautiful,cold,snowy Northern Michigan”
It seems you do not complain – about the weather”
The lastest days, in Denmark, has been so cold that I really want to ask this question.
“Can I get [the] climate change back, please “? now – we just had been accustomed to it – because this (freezing) old fashioned winter-weather with temperatures well down below minus degrees – with no running / frozen water supply etc. for the 20th’ day since Xmas etc. circumstances Isn’t simple uNacceptable.!
I’m just kidding
thanks so much for the lovely post of yours Kate

Spinal tumor next to my spinal cord. Now, the good news is that it is benign. However: location, location. They want to observe it. It is increasing in pain. They could make it worse with surgery – or better, one hopes. WHich is why they elect to wait. If it reaches the spinal cord it will paralyze the body. SO we don’t want to go there. SO hopefully all will end well. Unfortunately because of the increased pain and asoociated nausea, I could not take my regular medications and had to go to the urgent care. The *problem* is that aside from a spinal condition that goes from lumbar to skull with a tumor in between, I am wonderfully healthy and look better than most, so when I show up in pain they just cant believe it unless they are Experts in this field. Tomorrow, is the long awaited appt with A Top Surgeon, so lets hope for the best. Everything was great when I was just in manageble pain and could work.. The last two plus years, I worked for a lawyer as a Clerical secretary. Typing, faxing, filing. I loved it. My typing improved immensely. Thankfully for editing I can fix alot of mine lately. I was in alot of pain, nausea, stress from trying to keep up & falling asleep while typing- I went on leave in May. Made me sad especially when normally I should have gone back , but was only getting sicker. Didnt mean to talk about anything sad. It is life I suppose. Everybody has their *thing* to deal with. Love and peace.

John I have learned to truly give thanks for all in my day.weather, people, world disasters…all the things I cannot change..although not thanks for disasters…but accepting the form life comes to me…we envy you Danes and your social systems…cleaner and healthier life for people yes? Grace…my sincere reflections omn your situation…I have massive growths on both adrenal glands…went the western route for diagnosis and work-up(they were visualized incidently on MRI(was having surgery at the time for ruptured diverticuli and they wanted to also remove tumors and adrenal glands)That has been two yesrs ago and I went with acupuncture , Qi Gong chinese herbs and a host of lifestyle changes esp. diet….no new growth since then and they told me I could not survive without surgery….each case is different tho…but I refused to make decisions under the gun of F.E.A.R. =false externals appearing real. Calmness I visualize for you with your appt. tomorrow…even tho we are separated in Time and Space our thoughts are not so bound..Kate

Grace, good luck to you on your path of healing. My younger sister had tumors on the nerve endings near her spine. Benign also but very painful. She had spinal blocks (shots to control the pain from her back radiating down into her legs.)
Her condition was called neuro- fibromatosis. She has had many of these tumors removed from other places in her body. In December she had three removed in her hands/fingers. They caused pain/ numbness/ inability to move properly. They were about the size of dried beans.
But good news for her spine. They observed for a few years. The spinal tumors are gone now. She has a tumor on the bottom of one foot now that they are watching. It is causing her pain.
I like what Adina said somewhere on one of these threads (hard to find all the comments sometimes) but connect with earth. Put your bare feet on the ground. Absorb sunlight and fresh air. Eat what your body needs. I hope your spinal tumor will disappear too like my sister’s did. I think you are strong and very likely to overcome. very much peace and love to you grace….

Thank you all. Your thoughts and wishes do help. The saddest part of the recent decline has been that I couldn’t garden anymore. I used to be out in the soil, everyday. The house that we spent a year of sacrifice and search to find, that yard was a huge part of my spirituality and peace. Now I am in an apartment. The whole town is filled with mature trees, which helps alot, but I can’t bend like i could. I have to learn to live with this. It is next to my aorta and spinal cord so I would have to be paralyzed for them to consider removal. Lately it feels like living in a curse. I must be cursed. But you can see how I can’t help but find similarities between my own problems and the collective global problems. It makes life rich, I suppose. I have always loved a good mystery! Sometimes, solving the world’s problems is like unraveling a mystery. Peace, peeps. Thanks too.

I like what Adina said too. It makes good sense and it ties us in with the natural world which, too often, is ignored!
Love to all, David.

If it weren’t for a connection to something bigger than just myself, something that I am a part of – that even in my own microcosm – I exist in the macrocosm – is the source of my feeling of any stability, lately. I laid in pain, crying, in the Urgent Care, they refused to help me. I cursed them. Like I said, I am healthy except for a burning spine. I have to deal with prejudice and judgement on a very intimate level. I pray out loud because I am consciously trying to turn my own Titanic to avert the big blow-up.
‘Obomba Condemns Iran’s Tyranny’
Hmm!
America ‘can be’ tyrranical. Hmm. I will write more on that subject in the new post.
Thank you David. Be well. : ).

Hey, Grace, hang in there. I’ve had nine treatments thus far and seem to be coping quite well considering. I do a bit more sleeping during the afternoons but so far so good. It might be a different story in a few weeks!
Take care now!
