Maybe in a world like that my fight or flight state of being could relax and go away! Instead, I remain hyper-vigilent. Don't want to live this way forever. Tonight I bought wine for the household. I'm going to try to celebrate with hope in my heart for a better new year. David, best of luck with your treatments. A world where Amy Goodman, Glenn Greenwald, Matthew Rothschild, Noam Chomsky, Barbara Ehrenreich, Jim Hightower, Thom Hartmann, and Naomi Klein are regularly featured on mainstream media. Enjoy your New Year "Down Under", David ,and I am pleased that you no longer have to put up with John Howard as your PM. I hope the coming years with Mr. Rudd are good ones for your country. By the way, any country which has Peter Garrett as an MP is OK! Midnight Oil remains one of my all time favorite bands. They were awesome! I have 8 of their albums and I will never forget that they once rented a long trailer truck and set up the band in front of Exxon in New York City and played a free concert for the people.
