Tweedledumb and Tweedledumber!
Friends, apparently, on Monday night, Netanyahu was spirited into the White House to have a meeting with Presidente El Barmy who some say clearly sees things in black and white.
Strangely, there were no television cameras allowed and the whole event appeared somewhat clandestine. We, the peasants, can only guess at what was discussed between the leaders of two of the most hawk-like, war-mongering nations on earth. Perhaps they just had a kiss and a cuddle? Perhaps they just prayed to their respective gods?
Seriously though, was El Presidente displeased with Benny putting settlement building in the West Bank and East Jerusalem into overdrive in direct opposition to his dictums? Was El Barmy going to express displeasure with Clinton’s undermining of his clear instructions to Benny to stop building settlements?
Was the question of turning off the water to the West Bank and Gaza discussed and its political implications explored? Were they discussing an impending attack on Iran by either or both?

This person is General Casey. He was in charge of Foot Hood where a member of the U.S. Military (a psychiatrist no less) recently killed 13 people and wounded 38 others. The psychiatrist, a Muslim, had spent years trying to unbend the bent troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan war zones. His final answer was to shoot some of them!
General Casey, during a news conference about the terrible massacre at his own base, exhorted Obama to send more troops to Afghanistan so the killing there could be expanded. Ironic, eh? How much killing is enough?
Please look carefully at the General’s face. It is not a face that shows compassion or gentleness. It is clearly the hard face of a man who enjoys killing. It is the face of a man who loves the thrill of war, who, from a safe distance, loves sending young soldiers into battle, who talks knowledgeably about things like collateral damage, who calls in air strikes to crush any opposition, etc .

Yes, folks, after the recent genocide and wanton destruction carried out by Israel against the defenseless Gaza Strip, the place, or what little is left of it, is still under Israeli siege.
The Israelis, (known far and wide for their generosity and compassion), abetted by the Egyptians still control every single item that comes into or out of Gaza. No building materials are allowed in so no rebuilding can take place. Israel decides whether the sick are allow to get further medical assistance or not. Currently they are even stopping donated wheelchairs from entering the Strip!
The cartoon above shows the Americans, the Israelis and the Egyptians (who toe the American line because they, like the Israelis, get massive American aid) are all living well while the Gazans, like caged animals, continue to live in poverty and severe deprivation.
Currently, the Israelis are carrying out a vigorous campaign to prevent the Goldstone Report from gaining currency because it reveals how they carried out serious war crimes when they leveled Gaza. Remember that 1,400 Palestinians (most of them women and children) were killed while only 9 Israelis died.
Spare a thought for the Gazans and the boy shown below. This boy has never known peace or happiness, only Israeli oppression and brutality.
This boy surely deserves a better life!

“I’m fed up with your whinging! Bazza, the houseboy, and me have changed our mind about settlements. So what! Possession is nine tenths of the law! Trust us. We’re lawyers.
Listen, Karzai, though a wheeler and dealer, runs Afghanistan now. We say so so that’s the end of the story!
Sure, Iraq is run by a venal, corrupt puppet government, but one that speaks our language. Hey, nothing is perfect, only my pearls! And my teeth.
If Israel nukes Iran then so what. Might is right. History shows that. Winners are grinners!
Listen, the world is whatever Bazza and me say it is. What part of that don’t you understand, you sand-reptile?”

“Do not expect much of the world and live contented,
Ignore the good and ill that time brings;
Take wine in your hand and a sweet girl’s tresses
For they quickly go and these few days do not last.”
The Ruba’iyat of Omar Khayyam.
P.S. Love and peace to all!
