Friends, Obama is close to making a decision on ‘Finishing The Job’ in Afghanistan. It sounds harmless but the photographs show what ‘Finishing The Job’ really means.

He may send up to 40,000 more troops to the impoverished, backward country. He has 68,000 there already and, since the invasion, nearly 1,000 have died and 4,000 have been wounded so far. This means that even more destruction and death and mutilation can be wreaked by the world’s biggest and most powerful army on Afghani citizens and more Americans will die.

The reason for American interest in Afghanistan is unclear. Some say it’s to gain access to oil and gas from resource rich areas in the south of what was Russia. It can’t be to protect America because of the huge distance between the two countries and the fact that the feared ‘terrists’ don’t have armies, navies or air forces.

Obama promised change. He said nothing about ‘Finishing The Job’ started by Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld.

It seems that Obama is a liar! And yet another warmonger!

P.S. When will he, in partnership with Israel, nuke Iran, I wonder?

P.P.S. It might be his Xmas present to the world!

Oh … dear.. “Lord”???? Is there such a Lord up there witnessing this? How often is our language laden with pray that , God bless, dear Lord, this that.. all fool…full… of some benevolent guy sitting up there giving us freedom …. to what? to this?
Huh…

Derailed from the subject.

But dear God. If you are out there somewhere, circumcize the brains of the warmongerers, and cut out their dear beloved missiles from their lobes, with the sharper lobotomy ever performed on a human. Let them be leg-less and eye-less. Let them beg for food and receive phosphorus bombs right in their mouths.

Please Dear God, get the terrorists out of any bush, from all the Afghan , Pakistan, Iran bushes and the list can continue forever, as they migrate, and the bushes are many. All over the world, the bushes and caves are hiding the enemy. So please god flood the planet again. Get them out of the caves and bushes, and gut them terrorists like pigs, so we can all reconcile our existences in a concept that is nowadays vanquished from reality: peace.

That is my prayer to you dear lord.
If I have to put a coin in the mercy box for you to accept it, buzz off.
I thought you were supposed to be generous and kind, not the loan shark you seem to be through your beloved representatives on earth (priest) through your central bank (Church) and through your Rolex wearing Pope with a collection of fancy cars.
Yyyyhhaaaa.
Amen.

From what I’ve been reading this year it seems that we are in Afghanistan because of a major pipeline (resource) and it is said that since we arrived the poppy trade has increased several times over. Someone is getting filthy rich off the drug money to be made there and it isn’t the Afghan farmers!

It’s a little difficult to claim you’re fighting in self defense when you have to hop on a plane and fly several thousand miles to bomb the so called bad guys!

Obama is a liar and a worse warmonger than Bush and Cheney.

What Obama will finish is any hope that the US government will ever be able to find the money to support programs that support the ordinary people who are suffering due to the recession. But that is part of the reason anyway isn’t it. War is just another way to funneling money to the already too rich from the too poor.

You don’t “finish” an illegal invasion and occupation of a sovereign nation. You leave.

When O’bomb’em says he’ll finish the job, he is unable to define what the job is. But some 9 years later we know it has nothing to do with the Bin Laden, terrorism or any other boogeymen, nothing to do with the controlled demolitions of 911, and nothing to do with freedom or democracy. It is fascism/imperialism. The desire on the part of multinational companies to control natural resources, namely oil, gas and heroin.

Recently, the US announced it plans to send some 38.7 million dollars in Afghan provinces to …get this….”reduce poppy cultivation”. READ: Subsidize the industry. After all there’s a flood of cheap heroin since the US took over that country, or at least it’s poppy production.
Everyone got their share of the pie between Bush the Lesser’s giveaways to the death merchants, military industrial complex and oil barons and O’bomb’em whose continued the same policies without flinching. Now it’s time for the CIA to get their slice of the pie by subsidizing the heroin industry to keep the price artificially inflated.

Sound economic practice – if you’re so invested, which the CIA, the bush family and Blackwater are.

Your opening sentence is right on! That Obama is carrying on Bush’s policies and imperialism without flinching is also right on!

Adina, your comment contains much clever, creative writing and conveys many truths about the tragic human condition. Well done!

Kathy, for a million people to be killed seems a heavy price to pay for a pipeline. But then they are only Afghans so they, like Iraqis, have no value to most Westerners anyway.

Jeannie, war and the capitalist system are both ways of funneling money to a small group of wealthy people. When are the masses going to realize they are being fleeced?

Yep, why fix your own country, when you can (attempt) or at least say, you will fix another.

Not quite the “change” you can believe in, and so it goes ; (

My first impression of Obama is ‘actor’ more than a ‘president’ – will it eventually show (up) to be right.?
I’m sure he will do well acting as the part of the HERO in Hollywood job, post the presidency. ( unlike GWB )
The big advantage is, in a film everything can take place without consequences.

NO doubt – In real life he’s under tremenduos pressure from the Generals (incl. the warcriminal /warlecherous NATO general secretary Anders Fogh Rasmusssen.)

My bet ?
not less than 30.000

Hey, Coffee, great to hear from you. Yes, same old, same old. It’s a shame really. The world deserved better!

John, perhaps Obama will end up in Hollywood as a B-grade actor? Bush, Nixon, Obama, Reagan, they all demonstrate the foolishness of a Republic.

Folks… one thing that should be understood beyond any expectation that reasonable people would expect or hope from Obama is that he is NOT going to do anything that is morally decent or humanely compassionate. He knows too well that by doing so will get him JFK’d. In contrast to popular belief he is NOT the man running the show and when the masses understand this, maybe then things will change.

LT I agree with you but I have a question: Do you think the candidates know before being elected that they are going to act as a puppet or do you think they are told afterward?

I think JFK was the last one we had who tried “not” to be a puppet. And I think that sent a strong message to everyone to come later. But when do they know they will be a puppet? Before or after the election?

I think that they know before. Why would the ruling class invest in a candidate if they didn’t have assurances that he will obey?

Why Obama sold his soul, I don’t know. He seemed like a nice guy.

David the Afghans and Iraqis have value to me. Even one is too many to call collateral damage. I can easily put myself in any Iraqi’s or Afghan’s mother’s shoes. It was not that way for me in the beginning of these wars.

In fact I will tell you exactly where I stood at the time the twin towers were attacked. My oldest son had just graduated high school and had been recruited to join the Air Force. The recruiter asked me my motherly opinion. I remember telling him straight up that the people who were killed in those towers were not militarily trained and stood no chance at survival. At least my son would be trained to know how to survive an attack. That was my thinking at the time and they told us Bin Laden was responsible and that Afghanistan was hiding him out! That’s really all I heard. Afghanistan was responsible for hiding Bin Laden. Prez Bush came on the Air telling all of us that any nation that cooperated with these terrorists were guilty and needed to be attacked and stopped in their tracks so that they could never attack on American soil again. (Then of course later, Prez Bush said Saddam was hiding weapons of mass destruction and was cooperating with the terrorists.)

So that’s how it was for me in the beginning. They sold the idea to us American people in order to go to war. I can forgive myself somewhat for the beginnings of the Afghan war because we were heavily propagandized wrongfully. But after these many years of gathering evidence…..I can’t claim any kind of ignorance any longer. In fact, if we ever are really attacked in any fashion I don’t think I can ever believe my government again! I will just have to see with my own eyes.

My oldest son spent 4 years in the Air Force but got out with an honorable discharge. He didn’t like the military. He didn’t get deployed because he chose a field that they didn’t need to deploy. He worked on F-16 fighter jets as a crew chief. Stayed most of his 4 years in South Carolina at the barracks. But it was so against his thinking, he came out and turned to the anti-depressant drugs. He’s still on them. He tells me stories about things he had to study while active duty. He has no trust in the American Government and plans for our country. He cut his wrists last year. It didn’t kill him and we got him some help??? Not sure what that means! Do we have to live on anti-depressants just to survive this human existence?

David I read the side bar and see your background in psychology, economics, journalism and teaching. I see your philosophical views. All most interesting to me! I don’t know yet if I would be considered an atheist or not. While I don’t believe or follow any organized religion, I’m stuck for now in a quantum physics thing. Creative source energy that we can all interact with????? Could that be what the old timers called “God”? And since it is creative source that we all have the ability to interact with does that make us “children of God?”

I’m not hung up at all on the Jesus story since it closely paralells the Horus story and actually many others. But to you….is there any way to think of a prime creator source? Or source energy? A source in nature that might have been played off to the masses as “a God?”

He will be around people who have been there, done that and have banded together in solidarity to oppose war. If he feels that he is alone, that no one can understand how he feels, he will be helped by the fellowship.

Lt I believe like you do that the old career politicians know the score. I just wondered if the newbies find out the score right before the election ends, or during their campaign, or right after the elections?

As a for instance, Ron Paul has been around forever and a day. I’ve been watching videos of his speeches even from 20 to 30 years ago. So he has definately been a career politician. I didn’t notice him at all during this last election. He wasn’t acknowledged on our ballots at all. Didn’t really know who he was. But it seems his movement has picked up since the last election. He’s too old in my opinion to consider a run for president in 2012. He stands up for liberty and justice for all. Fights against the federal reserve..etc etc.. Seems to be for the Constitution.

Is he for real in your opinion? He is a career politicain but they haven’t killed him yet like they did JFK. So is he a controlled opposition? Just wondering……..

Kathy,
attempting suicide is considered a social taboo and a terrible thing. Wonder why in a society sooooo rooted in self centered physicality?

For me…If I don t like bitter-fruits-cake at the lousy party, why should I keep eating it?
I wouldn t want people I love to cry for me around that table because I decided stop eat eat the bitter fruit cake and left the lousy party.

I know , I know, talking is easy, reconciling theory with reality is a different thing..

But I think, suicide is not what it was labeled to be.

And I think we shouldn t castigate the people who had the courage to attempt it.

What I am personally trying to do, is to see the cake in its whole. Pick the bitter parts, toss them out, eat the cream (there is plenty). I also try to improve the quality of the lousy party by my mere presence, ideas, creativity, so that I be able to enjoy it further, mostly for the sake of the loved ones. I ll dance till it hurts, and sweat it out.

Depression tip: MOVE MOVE MOVE.
please tell your son that.
Enroll in some martial art, dancing, yoga, hip hop, whatever he likes class.
MOVE MOVE MOVE.
The Body is smart.
The mind is gone sad.
If the Body takes the lead, the mind will follow. :)
Shake the booty, the mind will dance. :)
It is hard to commit, but it does work.
Please try it.

Kathy, as cynical as I may sound I believe there remain some politicians with some dignity left in them. Ron Paul (R) I believe is one and one other is Dennis Kucinich (D). I am sad to say that these two poor slobs will never make it past the keepers of the gate. They like the rest of us will remain outside hoping that someday someone with unwavering moral courage will have the gonads to break down those gates. Oh well… one can only hope.

L.T., thanks for your series of comments. As you correctly observe: every man has his price! And I agree there are a few decent politicians but the system has no time for them. We need to change the system by getting rid of those who control it!

Kathy, like you, all humans have value for me. When I look at the faces of starving children in third-world countries I am wracked with guilt. When, by contrast, I see how the wealthy live I feel sick. When I see the oppression of the Palestinians by Israel, I feel great anger. How can such extremes exist? How can any human tolerate them?

Regarding religion, I see it as one of the major obstacles to human progress and peace.

Adina, suicide is every person’s right. We had no choice about our birth but we sure as hell should have the say in our exit. That the religiously deranged should try to tell us what we can and can’t do is absurd.

Of course, there is a big difference between the rational choice someone makes based on a medical condition or a loss of dignity and quality of life and the choice made by someone who is suffering from a treatable depressive episode.

Keep on dancing!

Adina, I so agree with the dance idea. The analogy of eating the bitter fruits cake is very good too.

David I agree with you that people should be able to choose if they want to go out with dignity but that some like my son go through a treatable depressive episode. Religion should not factor into that decision. As Adina pointed out that some feel it is a social taboo, here in my area there are many who still believe (religiously) that it’s the unpardonable sin!! I know it’s crazy!

In times of unemployment (10% +) the ‘need’ (in America) for work (war) is obvious.

The tension increases to the breathless –
For the poor Afghanis the question is:
“How many more innocents, incl. women and children may have yest to die to catch a few ‘terrorists’?

..excerpt from a letter of strong words by Mic. Moore letter:

“All of us that voted and prayed for you and cried the night of your victory have endured an Orwellian hell of eight years of crimes committed in our name: torture, rendition, suspension of the bill of rights, invading nations who had not attacked us, blowing up neighborhoods that Saddam “might” be in (but never was), slaughtering wedding parties in Afghanistan.
We watched as hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians were slaughtered and tens of thousands of our brave young men and women were killed, maimed, or endured mental anguish — the full terror of which we scarcely know.

When we elected you we didn’t expect miracles. didn’t even expect much change. But we expected some. We thought you would stop the madness. – stop the KILLing.
stop the insane idea that men with guns can reorganize a nation that doesn’t even function as a nation and never, ever has.

Stop, stop, stop! For the sake of the lives of young Americans and Afghan civilians, stop. For the sake of your presidency, hope, and the future of our nation, stop. For God’s sake, stop.

Tonight we still have hope.

Tomorrow, we shall see. The ball is in your court. You DON’T have to do this. You can be a profile in courage. You can be your mother’s son.

We’re counting on you. [Obama, you - a president for CHANGE !!! ]

Yours,
Michael Moore

John you just hit on something with your first line. Unemployment in America has driven so many young people to enlist in the military service that they (the recruiters) have already met their quota for next year! As long as the economy stays bad we will not have to wonder if they will start drafting kids to war. They won’t have to. They will sign up because there are no other jobs for them to do. Real unemployment figures are over 17% when you factor in those who are now under employed (part time) and those who have stopped looking for jobs.

The excerpt from the Michael Moore letter is good. Too bad it didn’t work huh?

thank you, Kathy. for this link / very interesting readings. – amazing

What’s become very clear from this reading is the fact that a jew has nothing to do with arabs what concerns descending, has nothing to do with Palestinians(arabs). Jews are a hotchpotch of a global white (russian/european) queer lot of mixed race whom have no forebearly related claim to Palestine at all.

allow me repeat a few lines :

========== The United Nations had no right to give Arab property to anyone ===========

“” The United Nations resolve to have Palestine partitioned into two states, one zionist and one arab, with Jerusalem to remain as an international zone to be enjoyed by all religious faiths.

This transfer was scheduled to take place on May 15, 1948. The United Nations had no right to give Arab property to anyone, as indeed even thought the Jews owned 6% of Palestine at that time, resolution 181 granted the Jews 57% of the land leaving the Arabs who at that time had 94% with only 43%. “”

and
=== Pres. Lyndon B. Johnson rescinded executive Order 11110 on his way from Dallas to Washington ===

On June 4th President John F. Kennedy (the 35th President of the United States 1961 1963) signs Executive Order 11110 which returned to the U.S. government the power to issue currency, without going through the Rosthchilds owned Federal Reserve.

Less than 6 months later on November 22nd , president Kennedy is assassinated by the Rothschilds for the same reason as they assassinated President Abraham Lincoln in 1865, he wanted to print American money for the American people, as oppose to for the benefit of a money grabbing war mongering foreign elite.

This Executive Order 11110, is rescinded by President Lyndon Baines Johnson (the 36th President of the United States 1963 to 1969) on Air Force One from Dallas to Washington, the same day as President Kennedy was assassinated.

So glad you had time to read it John! There’s so much information in that long article and since I’ve never done a background check on the house of Rothschild, I didn’t know the extent of their dealings. But…I had read the executive order 11110 that Kennedy signed and I had read a few of the stories or conspiracy theories about why he was killed. When do theories become facts? Not sure but when Lyndon Johnson’s first move as the new prez is to reverse that executive order 11110, I’m betting Kennedy was killed over that executive order! Other stories have linked his death to his policies toward Vietnam. Some say that when he was elected prez the powers that be thought he was going to be another puppet but some time after he took office, he became aware of a secret agenda and wouldn’t go along with it. I don’t see how anyone could still believe he was killed by one lone wolf gunman.

But the study here of real Jews compared to the Zionists is what clarifies things for me most. And Zionism seems more of a political movement or ideology than a true bloodline/race or religious belief. So there are imposters in Israel!! And you’re right, the UN had no right to take land from the Palestinians to give to the Zionists/Rothschilds.

I still have a difficult time when reading this history, thinking that humans could plot a course that is to unfold over centuries. What kind of evil is that? I stated in another post previously that I feel like a pawn in a universal chess game. I hope that before I leave this world I can elevate myself to being more of a rook or bishop in the game and at least capture some of the opponents pieces to let them know I was here!

And David, I hope Obama isn’t planning a xmas bombing of Iran! I can’t stand much more before I become the crazy woman running into the streets and screaming “NO MORE, NO MORE” and then they will simply take me away in a straight jacket!

John, Michael Moore’s letter is pertinent to this thread. Thanks.

Kathy, it’s criminal how the military catch young men when they are filled with testosterone then fill their minds with lies about how killing other people is some wonderful, heroic, patriotic thing to do. Nothing could be further from the truth.

And thanks for that revealing link. The Rothschild’s have much to answer for it seems. One of their castles was shown in the post above!

John, those who organized the taking of Palestinian lands so the Jews could have it were criminals. It has proved to be a total disaster.

Kathy, we the peasants are pawns in an international chess game, one played between a number of wealthy groups. One way to bring these groups undone is to make them outcasts. Being wealthy should be a crime!
