Mission Accompl…Over?
President Obama recently stated that the patience of America and its European Allies regarding Iran is not unlimited. Obama was speaking on behalf of his country and a number of acolytes that follow America around like pet poodles as it attempts to impose its will upon the world, to whit: Britain, France and Germany.
Russia and China will also be privy to future talks with Iran but any thought that they are subservient to America is absurd. In fact, Russia and China, should they form a strategic alliance, would threaten American dominance in the world, no bad thing.
Though Obama is merely the head of one country, from his speeches often you’d think he was King of the World. He speaks like a father lecturing his wayward family. In fact, one could almost liken him to GOD chastising his children and threatening them with the punishment of hell if they step out of line. I use the word ‘children’ in its broadest sense of course.
Where does the leader of America get this notion that what he thinks and says should be taken seriously by all the people of the world and all the nations of the world? I mean, there are 6.5 billion people in the world and 300 million Americans. That’s about 5%! There are 195 countries in the world of which America is one, yet the way Americans treat other countries…well, let me say it leaves a lot to be desired.
Part of the answer involves the idea of American exceptionalism. This strange delusion that America is the greatest nation in the history of the world, that America should lead the world, that America exists to solves the world’s problems, etc, has permeated American thinking almost from the beginning. It is totally unfounded of course, because America has, and has always had, many problems just as other nations do.
Exceptionalism arose from religious fundamentalism, slavery, the terrible genocide against the indigenous people, a Civil War, a war against the U.K., the Wild West, etc. The philosophy that a gun and a bible will solve all problems is rooted in American folklore.
Then America embraced capitalism and the worship of greed gained prominence and still drives much of what America does today. As well, Hollywood came into being. Films were manufactured that stroked American’s love affair with themselves, fed them fantasies about their imagined superiority, their born to rule delusions.
Then WW2 came along and, according to America, it was won by them and the massive contribution by other nations and the casualties they suffered meant nothing. America then began to spend massive amounts of money on armaments, far outspending other nations. It amassed huge armies and navies and its air force became a force to be reckoned with. The rest is, as you would know, history.
Today America is heavily in debt. It led the world into a global financial crisis. The greenback is no longer the favorite currency. Other nations are forming alliances to counter American imperialism. America is no longer popular in many quarters of the world. Other large nations are becoming rivals of America and may well outdo it in the next ten years or so.
So when Obama speaks of ‘having limited patience’ , largely he speaks without real authority. He is a king whose crown has slipped and will slip further. He is deluded as are many of his advisers.
America now is a largely unexceptional nation. It needs to give up its fantasies and, with humility, join the other nations of the world that live in reality!
And its acolytes, Britain, France Germany and Australia, need to stop their fawning.
America’s day has come and gone. It’s just that most Americans don’t realize it!
Don’t Russia and China have some sort of trade agreements with Iran? I read that somewhere. The article said that if America or Israel attacked Iran it would be world war III because it would bring Russia and China into the war to protect their oil agreements with Iran.
Also, I never gave much thought to America’s hollywood. I don’t watch that many movies but I guess I thought every country made it’s own films. Is there no movie industry for German movies, British movies, Japanese movies etc?

Russia certainly has links with Iran, Kathy. I’m not sure about the extent of its links with China.
Unlike movie studios in other countries, Hollywood has done much to help indoctrinate Americans about their imagined superiority and to present America to the world as its saviour and leader.

I would rather be an American citizen than a subject of Communist China. The trouble is that our republic has been overthrown by the Jewish World Order.

I knew it was all over when one of the first Obama speeches he started with “America will not apoligize for its way of life ” There in lies a big problem this country has alot too atone for and until it does it will just be more of the same .For such a “Christian Nation” it knows not humbleness but arrogance and greed.most americans are ignorant of there own soredid history .

We are living in a dream here that has turned into a nightmare and most americans seem to think that sooner or latter they will wake up and it will all be over.
They cannot seem to understand that the dream they were living is over and will never return. That it was a nightmare for much of the rest of the world did not concern too many people.
Greed and climate change have changed our world into something that is no longer what it was and we need to adapt to that different world if we are to survive.

David you make some good points I would like to emphasise a bit on. China and Russia are still enemies of the USA, although no one acknowledges this publicly. Sure there is good trade and lip service but deep down there is mistrust and sceptiscim and besides doesn’t Russia still have the majority of their nukes aimed at the USA. China and Russia have resolved broader disputes and formed economic and military alliances in the last ten years and both have trade and military ties with Iran. Yes Hollywood is a fanatasy feeder, it makes America pretend to be great and powerful to the rest of the world but reinforces the inward looking view of themselves buy telling outright lies. Any person interested in WW2 will tell you Russia won that war for the world and we should all remember that and be thankful to Russia for losing 20 odd million citizens to do so. If it wasn’t for Russia D-Day would not have happened or the allies would have been annihilated on the shores of Normandy for sure.
The best critiscim of the USA policies on climate change were stated by Mr. Kevin Conrad from PNG when he said at Bali in 2007 “I would ask the United States, we ask for your leadership,” he said. “But if for some reason you’re not willing to lead, leave it to the rest of us. Please get out of the way.”
