Those who live by the sword, die by the sword!
Friends, two events have occurred over the last few days: Bibi went to Russia on a secret visit and, in the U.S., commemorations are being held for 9/11. These two events are related. How you ask?
The purpose of Bibi’s visit was to beg the Russians not to sell Russian anti-aircraft missiles to Iran. The reason? When Israel bombs Iran in the near future, possibly with nukes, it doesn’t want its aircraft shot down.
No folks, Israel is used to attacking countries which have no air defenses. Gaza is the most recent example and Israel is still bombing Gaza. It likes to go in and attack whatever targets it wants to without fear, without loss, a task that takes a great deal of bravery.
So, given the impending attack on Iran, how does that relate to 9/11? Well, 9/11 demonstrated what happens when militarily powerful countries attack or invade and occupy other countries. In so doing, people are killed, many of them innocent civilians including women and children. When people are killed, hatred is created, legitimate hatred. And with hatred comes the desire for revenge.
9/11 was a legitimate attack against a warmongering nation by those who are being killed daily in their own countries by American forces. A handful of determined, desperate men armed only with box cutters caused a minor amount of damage and some casualties to the world’s military superpower. The main damage was done to America’s appearance of invulnerability.
But compared to the damage and casualties the folk from Muslim countries have suffered, what happened in 9/11 is a drop in the bucket. In Iraq, it is estimated that around a million people have been killed and the destruction caused by the Coalition of the Killing is massive! And now the Coalition is concentrating on trying to occupy Afghanistan while it is also attacking Pakistan.
My point is that, in human affairs, you reap what you sow! America’s actions caused the 9/11 attack. Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian Territories has caused legitimate retaliation by the Palestinians. And if Iran is attacked by Israel, possibly with American help, it will be attacked either directly or via a 9/11 event. Or something even worse.
Who is to say Iran doesn’t already have a nuke or two? Perhaps it bought them from North Korea. Perhaps Russia has given them a few or is helping them to acquire one (just like America helped Israel to become a nuclear power).
One nuke, dropped strategically, will destroy Israel and bring rejoicing throughout the Muslim Middle East.
Killing people and stealing their land and resources doesn’t bring peace. Only a fool could believe that.

Yep empires come and empires go, it’s what they do to others in their self righteous way that brings them down. Usualy what they do is kill, maim, destroy and dismantle fabrics of culture which they percieve that is not in their empires interest. It is often these dismantled fabrics of the conquered that can fester for millenia and then come back and bite conquerors on the arse really hard. Ask the Vietnamese about being occupied by the Chinese, or better still read about it. As Edwin Starr said “War, what is it good for”. It’s good for making rich richer and the poor poorer and fodder for the rich.

So true, however, 9-11 was a lie. It’s impossible that the story happened as shown. In fact, I cancelled my TV because of the footage. I refuse to believe that NORAD and our intelligence officers were so incompetent. I smell a rat!

Kemosobi, to me, war is the major proof that humans are not evolving. The only evolution is in the tools of war which become evermore frightening. The fact that we can destroy our planet a thousand times over is tribute to human stupidity!
Margit, I know there is some conjecture about 9/11. I believe that terrorists did it because the bloody history of the U.S. shows clearly that it needs no justification to invade and occupy other nations.

What ever happened to Osama Bin Laden? Why did they stop searching for him? Didn’t they hold him accountable for 9/11? America has the most sophisticated and advanced technology in the world and the most advanced intelligence Agency in the world and you’re telling me they cant find one man??

..And we are dealing with an ‘eye for an eye’ culture. What is to be expected? It is exactly as you say. Up at the top, someone must know that none of this will achieve peace. It will clearly prolong the “endless war on terror”
How about freedom from terror? This is what so many desperately need.

Americans are hopelessly brainwashed. I’ve been trying to wake up friends and family and it’s just not working. I think they believe I’ve gone insane!

The FBI said that do not have enough evidence against Bin Laden to list 9/11 as one of his crimes.
As for Iran and nukes. Iran would be insane not to have nukes with Israel gunning for them, knowing the US will back them. As crazy as Iran’s leaders may appear to some, they are smart enough to know that the US has not done a preemptive strike on a country that has nukes.
