Friends, I was going to do a post on a news report I saw of the gang rape of a four year old girl by Government troops in the Congo. In that primitive country, Kabila urges his troops to rape. It is a tool of Government policy against the rebels. So they rape girls, boys and women whenever they can.
I found myself so horrified by the prospect and the horrific details that it involves I just couldn’t do it.
It’s amazing how humans, when given the authority to do disgusting, brutal things, carry them out so enthusiastically. The Germans did it to gays, gypsies, intellectually disabled folk, Jews, etc, in WW2. The Israelis have been doing it to the Palestinians for 60 years. The Serbs did it to the Muslims minority in Yugoslavia. In Cambodia and China, millions were killed on the orders of Pol Pot and Mao.
Even countries which claim they are civilized engage in many forms of torture as well as serial invasions and occupations and are guilty of countless war crimes involving civilians.

So, instead I’ve decided to do a post on something nice. It does happen in this severely troubled world though sometimes we tend to forget it. There are pockets of decent, caring people everywhere.
Such folk generate scenes like the one shown below. May they one day run the world and bring peace!

All children (and their pets) deserve love, respect,
security and happiness.
Truly atrocious, wheres American and there spreading freedom and democracy sermon and actions now, No where to be seen and heard. The Coalition of the willing are not willing to fight for a truly just cause, those f*#king hypocrite asshole’s. Is it because there’s to many poor starving black people on that continent or there’s no oil in that country. It’s just like proudly displaying those poor little innocent deformed babies in jars from the Nagasaki and Hiroshima war crimes. Sorry for the language David but I don’t know whether to ball my eyes out or or start smashing my house in rage. Children are sacred and I’m glad you put that picture and not what Kabila and his murders are doing.

Interestingly enough, America is out to get all the Terrorists in the world to make it a safer place for all. And yet in doing so we become what we are trying to stop. It would be plain for all to see if the media did not focus our attention in other directions, and pacify us with B.S. we call entertainment.
Imagine what could be done with the Billions of dollars being spent on destruction and murder in the name of democracy. Democracy by defeat! Even for those who do not want it to begin with. Yes those dollars could well be spent to give all children the world over the chance for a decent living and health care and education.

Beautiful picture! Here in the US no one ever seems to ask how we will find the money to pay for more and more war, but when there is even a slight hint that money would be spent for peaceful purposes such as health care there is a massive outcry that there is no money for such socialist programs.
The US is making enemies through out the world faster than they can be killed.
How much better it would be if we would use even a small part of that money for humanitarian aid. How much frienship and support would we receive and how much better the world would be.
Won’t ever happen though.

If it weren’t for the Pipeliner’s bought & paid for US Government being so intent on the privilege that corruption brings them ( and their families ); Cheney could have sent his hitmen to rid the world of rapists. Charity begins at home; or so they say.
It is a sad thing to know that corruption in governments if the chief cause of poverty and brutality.

Meagain, Art, Jeannie and S’pike, sometimes what I see about humans fills me with horror and dread.
If the world moves in a more right-wing, totalitarian direction, people like me who speak out against the Masters of the Universe will be jailed and tortured, or executed.
1984 is waiting around the corner to claim us. We must be vigilant!

In light of this blog entry, may I suggest a rewording of your site banner from “This blog hates” to “This blog despises” as a means of strengthening intellect away from the connotations of indistinction engendered through the term ‘hate.’ It is my impression this would also more accurately reflect the sentiments intended here.

Thanks for calling by, Dave! It’s interesting to contrast the difference in meaning between ‘hate’ and ‘despise.’ My gut feeling is that ‘hate’ is stronger.

It’s resources! Remember that fighting happened in the sixties. Think it was Lumumba…
These war lords get their funding from somewhere. International corporations, nation states (axis of evil), or even “developing” countries. Who can you trust when money is king?
The whole continent of Africa has suffered internally but mostly externally from greed and power hunger. Slave trade started the misery. Seems that a lot of slave ships were owned by Jewish merchants. Millions of slaves perished but who in the Zionist MSM really even touches the subject and if one does, one is called anti-semitic.
Proves that the feminists were so right when they pointed out that rape is nothing but a power trip for violent rapists.
