These Palestinians don’t feel much goodwill towards Israel.

I wonder why?

Friends, according to ICH this morning a goodwill delegation of 25 American GOP lawmakers has visited Israel. They engaged in much backslapping and promised Israel their undying support.

This follows on from a similar goodwill visit by the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, Julia  Gillard, and thirty other Australian VIPs a few weeks ago. And in a few days 30 lawmakers from Obama’s Democratic Party are to visit Israel on a goodwill visit.

Now I have to admit to being confused by all this goodwill. Perhaps there’s something about Israel that I don’t know, something valuable, something worthy. I thought long and hard about it and came up with the following list of things that might be in the minds of these gushing well-wishers.

They might have wanted to congratulate Israel:

- for killing so many people in Gaza recently with so few casualties of their own – 1400 plus to 9 (most of the 1400 were civilians and kids).

- for leveling most of Gaza’s infrastructure without using earth moving equipment.

- for building so many illegal settlements so quickly hence breaking many construction records.

- for excellence in concrete wall building, something that might rival the Great Wall of China.

- for becoming a nuclear power without the rest of the world knowing.

-  for withdrawing from Gaza then trapping its unsuspecting ‘terrorist’ citizens in a giant  protective cage.

- for starving the trapped Gazans hence helping them to lose weight.

- for carrying out the longest occupation in the history of the modern world.

- for indefinitely imprisoning many thousands of Palestinians without trial.

- for manipulating and supporting the traitorous Abbas hence splitting the Palestinians politically.

- for creativity in designing checkpoints, Jew-only roads, evictions, house demolitions, and the ‘accidental’ shooting of journalists and Palestinian children.

- for showing how well their Judaic religion symbolizes love, tolerance, compassion, generosity and morality.

Well, that’s my list at the moment. Just how these important visitors could possibly draw these bizarre conclusions given the facts is unknown to me but what would I know?

Well, one thing! The same misguided folk will probably be back to gush over Israel when it nukes Iran.

That’s if there’s any world left.
