Thank you David! A timely picture as I’ll start on a journey towards better health tomorrow. It’ll take probably 2 years and I’m scared and it’s expensive but it has to be done otherwise I’ll stay in the water like the 2 fellows in the picture.

when I watched this picture I came to think of a satirical song (in Danish) to the musical “Pinafore”: saying it all.
(Never do hazard to yourself -never put to sea – let the other take the risk (let the other put to sea)

I would sure like to see a change in direction here in the US in so many areas but no matter who is elected to government office the direction always remains the same.
There are a few rich and powerful people who have control of the system and the majority of us can do nothing to change it.
The only thing we can do is to try to change the life style we have been taught to live into one that is less damaging to ourselves and the earth.
That picture is pretty much the way I feel about where we, as a society, are headed. I fear that there is worse ahead of us.

John, what a lot of work for you. It is appreciated. “Never do hazard to yourself,” is an attitude that is largely universal and explains why the masses are so easily manipulated.

David..in that image I see two people totally out of balance with their environment…when we are living lives that are not allowed to express our authentic selves…most people isolated from each other and themselves…when we are faced with the unacceptable in our lives we must change our perceptions to allow us to continue to live and thrive in the midst of chaos..I find I have been given all the tools I need to shape and create my authentic self..the only real job I have..so now I don’t look at life events the same way…I take timeout from focusing on the injustices in the world and allow myself to heal..physically,emotionally, cognitively and spiritually…then new ways of perception can occur..new spiritual growth which is manifested in healing on all levels without treating symptoms..addressing instead the imbalance we are so acutely aware of. We are each of us finding new ways to connect and collectively we are of solace one to the other so that we begin to see unity emerging from the chaos and muck…allow yourself to feel calmness and love starting with yourself…if that is your intention your life will change transformatively not just restored to the same former condition..thoughts are truly things with a shape and power of their own…take care all..Kate
