“Us Take More Land?”
Israelis live in luxury on Palestinian land!
By contrast, Palestinians live in poverty.
Friends, Reuters reports today that:
“Israel’s Defense Ministry said on Monday it had approved construction of 50 new homes at a West Bank settlement as part of a plan for 1,450 housing units, an expansion that defies a U.S. call for a settlement freeze.”
Reuters also reports that:
“Israel went public with a plan to expropriate 139 sq. kms (54 sq. miles) of West Bank land, including shoreline exposed by the receding Dead Sea, saying it would give Palestinians 45 days to contest the decision in court.”
This is in spite of the Obama edict to stop settlement building and seriously prepare to negotiate the creation of a Palestinian State. It also ignores the fact that Barak is on his way to the U.S. to discuss ‘things’ with the self-appointed Ruler…sorry, Leader Of The Free World.
You certainly have to give it to the religiously-deranged Jewish State. No hide, no Christmas cake. They have played their combination of “We’re victims,” and “We’re just acting in self-defense,” for sixty years and largely got away with it. And they’re still trying it on!
And which nation has backed them all the way, vetoed all condemning resolutions, armed them to the teeth? America, that beacon on the hill that, when it suits them, strongly advocates freedom, democracy, human rights, and the rule of law.
And which nations have stood by and allowed them to do whatever they wanted? Most of the rich Western Nations.
What is happening in the Middle East is the greatest act of hypocrisy that the world has ever seen. It entrenches military brutality, justifies it. It upholds the law of the jungle which, by design, continues to stop us from ever achieving a peaceful world.
It diminishes us all, makes us captives of primitive barbarity!

Whats worrying me the most is the traumatized Palestinian children who will most likely resort to extremism and hatred for what Israel has done. But can you honestly blame them? Think for a moment if you were in that situation..would you remain calm and continue to let them steal your land, deprive you of basic resources to survive and violate basic human rights? Since the world continues to remain silent and do nothing about the situation, the only choice for the Palestinians is to become extremists and have a hated for Israel and the West. But of course that’s what America wants right? They always need enemies to justify their wars around the world.

Irfaan, the Palestinians have resorted to extremism and hatred against their occupier but to no avail. The Israelis are more extreme and more powerful!
The division which occurred when Hamas won the democratic election has split the Palestinians and rendered them impotent. The only way they are going to get anything is to reconcile and continue to fight for their freedom.
Waiting for America or Israel to give them anything worthwhile is a complete waste of time!

It seems to me the world is turned up side down. The bad guys plays the role of the good, honourables, visa versa.
Iranians, a proud honest people living rightfully in a land of their own , not stolen from anybody, now again is vilified accused of lying , by those, the real criminals, who lives their life on stolen land, original belongings of another people.
The world is becoming more and more messy. Is it really so that a strong and powerful media tells the diffence between those are the good and who’s the bad people ?
Thank you David for setting your attention on this , for the Palestinians unbearable, and for the United Nation a shameful situation.
My humble (obsequious, – have no guns) proposal to obtain peace in the world:
1) give Palestine back to Palestinians
2) give America back to Americans (indians)

Today, Israel’s military forces kidnapped Cynthia McKinney and all aboard the boats, The Spirit of Humanity, and Free Gaza, when they were not even in their waters. The United Nations should revoke this theocratic state’s charter; kick those Jews out of the UN.
I know David G, you called the USA a Christian nation a couple of posts back, but since the church folks that raised me taught me that Jesus was the Prince of Peace, and based on the actions and powers I see today, I think of USA as a Judaic-Christian nation. Thank you for your outrage. Please, all, call for the release of those kidnapped by Israhell.

Regarding America, it calls itself a Christian nation though its actions are all too often those of a heathen nation.

It’s astounding how these JHOOZZZ just do whatever they like, Therese. I think that Yahweh should give His children a belt around the ears, bring them into line. They are giving Him a bad name!
