Three Ticking Time Bombs

Planet Earth?
Friends, there are three issues in the world which could create a catastrophe: the imposition of sanctions on North Korea, the election of Armadinejad, and the civil war which is developing in Pakistan! Guess which nation is involved in all three?
Taking the North Korean problem first, the U.N. has imposed sanctions on the Communist State such that authorized U.N. member states can inspect North Korean sea, air and land cargo, and requires them to seize and destroy shipped goods that violate the sanctions (arms, nuclear materials, etc). Given North Korea’s geographical location this means that Japan and its master, the U.S., can legitimately stop all shipping and flights going into or out of North Korea, board it, inspect it, then destroy anything that is non-approved.
Worryingly, Clinton said the United States would work with other nations to enforce the U.N. resolution “…in a vigorous way…” I bet they will! The U.S. never misses out on an opportunity to stir the pot, to engage in military confrontation even with an unstable nuclear power!
Friends, this resolution, which was heavily pushed by the U.S., drives North Korea into a corner. It leaves it no option but to respond to any military action against its shipping with military force. Such military force could involve a nuclear attack on Japan or Guam or who knows where else.
What is an irony to me is that America, long ago, had a phobia about communism. Vietnam was the result and America got its butt kicked. That didn’t stop it moving into South Korea however. Now, the days of the ‘Reds under the Beds’ has long gone but America is still trying to crush communist North Korea while it happily trades with communist China. Such hypocrisy and irrationality is of no concern to the U.S.
“We are trying to stop nuclear proliferation,” the Americans cry but of course, hypocritically, they’ve said nothing about the nuclear arsenal which Israel has acquired and threatened to use should the need arise!
The second ticking bomb is Iran. Armadinejad has won the Iran election and the U.S. and its love-child, Israel, are not happy. America is used to having subservient states and it happily invades and occupies those who don’t bow to its will or thwart its imperial ambitions or who have resources it wants (like oil). Iran, like North Korea, is not into the bowing game and is acting like a sovereign nation. How dare it!
Later today, Benny will make an important speech. He will speak on behalf of his master, Obama, and will say that Iran is a threat to the world (by that he means the U.S. and Israel) and action will have to be taken to stop Iran acquiring nukes (in order to protect itself from imperial, nuclear-armed Israel). By action he means military action and it will be sooner rather than later.
Then there is Pakistan which is also nuclear-armed. The U.S. is not only bombing parts of Pakistan with its drones but it is manipulating the Pakistani government to engage in a civil war using aid as a bargaining chip. So now we have the Pakistan army engaging in a war with the Taliban which, though a group of crazy extremists, do have some backing from the local Muslim population. With nuclear weapons in the mix, the potential for disaster is always there. Even if that doesn’t occur, the extreme divisions which occurred in Iraq seem likely to repeat themselves in Pakistan and American interference will again leave another country in shambles. Divide and conquer, eh?
So, friends, there are three time bombs ticking. America is involved in all three.
The outcome would seem inevitable.
Batten down the hatches!

David! You are on a rampage and you have pretty much nailed it. I apologize for abusing your website. You have many lovely contributors. Me, I’m a flaming gaping asshole, but I appreciate you keeping me around. My family and grandchildren are fast approaching and I am stressed to the treetops. I am a 60 year old kid that never grew up and really have no idea how to act. I should have been knighted Sir Crysalot. Since the age of five I have been crying at sad movies and can’t seem to stop. As I got older I took a look around at the world and started crying all over again. I do believe you and your gathering are probably doing some good in this fucked up world. It’s me I have a problem with. I coulda, shoulda, done more with my life. Thank you so much for doing more with yours. PBDFA, Chucky Moreland.

Hey, Chucky, I’m older than you are and I didn’t start my blog until a few years ago. Don’t give up. There’s still plenty of time for you to make a positive contribution to this site and to the world.
I await some positive comments, friend!

With all these problems on the minds of most people and filling the “news” there has been very litlle mentioned about the economy lately other than all the “green shoots” that experts claim mean the recession is ending.
That is useful since nothing has been done to reform the banking system, rich corporations still own congress and the average person is worse off every day with rising prices for most goods, falling home prices and a half million jobs lost every month.
The government seems ready to do almost anything to take peoples minds off the real problems.
All of this from a president who promised change.

Yeah, he meant change for the worse. Thanks for sounding the alarm. Also FEAR RULES, says Paul Craig Roberts, and recently remarked that back in the 70′s, seeing how is going the government of the USA today, would be like watching a science fiction movie. Only, it is not; it is our all too real world. Thanks for this alarm report today.
I still do not agree that Obama is Benny’s master. At the United Nations, North Korea always takes the side of the Palestinians, and its leader has opposed the Jewish banking and other financial interests, as you can read at http://www.ownparty.org. Israel’s master plan, with international jewry, is to destroy Iran and Pakistan, using Christians (so to speak) to kill Muslims.

Coco, indeed there are many problems, most of them created by humans!
Jeannie, feeding them bread and circuses has been popular for thousands of years. Problem is, the people keep swallowing!
Given Israel’s reliance on American military and economic aid, Therese, it would seem that, ultimately, America holds Israel’s destiny in its hands.
While Israel suits America’s strategic goals in the Middle East the support will continue.

Outstanding observation David. Re: DPRK, it seems the west want Kim Jong Il to launch a war of retaliation for being put in a corner, They (USA) do not understand what they are doing or putting other countries in the potential path of, DPRK will strike and it will be devastating for all and for what advantage would a war serve here. Re: Iran, same circumstances here, If attacked Iran would retaliate with devastating force on USA bases in the region, close Hormunz strait and the worlds economy will go down the dunny real fast affecting everybody. Re: Afpak, what the hell is going on here, USA use Pakistan military to bomb and kill there own citizens. Trying to drive a wedge into Islamic fundamentalism and boom it explodes into a bigger more sophisticated insurgency with the death toll sure to be raised. What the hell is the USA thinking, have they ever thought that if they attack one country that the three of these countries could strike back at the same time, overwhelming any American or allies response. We know the US military is overextended and on the verge of bankruptcy, so why are they looking for more fights, why are they prepared to have millions more people killed for what, being an maintaining their dodgy Empire. Obama doesn’t mean change Obama is a wolf in sheep clothes. As for Israel, well every dog has their day and what they have done for 65 years has not been forgotten and will come back and bite them really bloody hard on the arse.

David,
In his speech today, Benny has just endorsed a Palestinian State! But we all know that actions speak louder than words.
I don’t understand how the western media is calling Ahmidenajad’s victory a fraud? They did not present any hard evidence supporting a fraud victory.
And a poll shows that most Israelis can live with a nuclear Iran. So how is Iran threatening Israel’s existence? They should have the right to make nuclear energy like any other country such as Canada, USA etc…

Kemosobi, I suppose your questions would have answers if the U.S. worked rationally but it doesn’t!
Never has a nation continued to stuff up most of their foreign policies like America. They move from one catastrophe to another with monotonous regularity. After they’ve finished their warmongering, there is turmoil and hatred and lots of dead bodies.
I don’t know whether it’s the air over there or the water they drink or the television they watch or it has to do with their education system but they are lacking something major.
Irfaan, I predicted what Benny would say and he said it. He, aided by the U.S., will continue to procrastinate until the Palestinians are pushed into a tiny, worthless enclave.
And the western media is blowing up the Iran election to make it look like it was rigged. Hamas had a similar experience.
Daily, we are being subjected to massive propaganda and lies. It makes me sick!

Actually, zionists hold American politicians careers in their hands. That is why they vote the way they do. USA strategic interests in the middle east are decided by zionists, and have not been benefiting the USA, which is a bankrupt nation.
