“Courage, Men. This War Will End All Wars!”

d-day

“Yeah, Sarge. They’ve been saying that for 10,000 years.

Pull my other leg while I’ve still got it. It whistles!”

WAR PROVES THAT MOST HUMANS ARE UNCIVILIZED AND UNINTELLIGENT.

P.S. In Australia, to pull someone’s leg means to trick or con them!

Webstger Tarplay argues in his book. OBAMA, THE POSTMODERN COUP. that if elected, his main project would be to play the Arabs against the Iranians to perpetuate Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, and the result would be a world catastrophe worse than Bush. Have a great week.

It’s an interesting theory, Therese. Who knows what thoughts go on in the little minds of our leaders. Ending war forever isn’t one of them!

At http://www.atheonews.blogspot.com, James Petras pointed out that it only took a week for 350 congressmen to sign a\ declaration that USA will give financial aid to Israel, without any strings, as a reaction to Obama’ and Clinton demanding that Israel stop ‘settling’ Arab lands. These are greedy power mongering people, more so than insane. Those who fight for them are insane.

War is hell and man must love hell because he always inflicts war on his fellow human. Yes we are barbaric and not very intelligent. If we were intelligent and civilised collectively then we would all be neo humans.

Knowing what we know now about the reality of Iran and Afganistan, much of it from returning soldiers, I can not understand how even one more person can go over to those countries and be a part of the slaughter that is being waged against the people of those countries.
Yes, the military will provide you with a job, but at what cost to your humanity, your sanity or your life.
War could not be waged if ordinary men refused to become soldiers and do the killing for the rich and powerful. Then when their usefulness was done be thrown aside and ignored.

Therese, Kemosobi and Jeannie, what is being done in Iraq and Afghanistan is inexcusable in 2009. The barbaric mindset that still prevails in some quarters, one which treats war as a legitimate enterprise, shows that we are still in the Dark Ages.

Fortunately there are a few countries in the world, ones like Denmark and Sweden, that demonstrate that there is a better, more civilized way.
