Was He Cheated?

Friends, I admit to being a bit of a fan of singing competitions and a bit of a musician. Though it’s nauseatingly glitzy, American Idol is a show that I’ve been following for the last few months and the winner was announced last night.
However the winner wasn’t the winner! Chris Allan, a nice wholesome Christian boy, following the counting of nearly 100 million votes, won the competition and Adam Lambert (shown above courtesy of Reuters) was placed second.
Now to me, Adam shone all through the competition. He is a mega-star. Chris Allan struggled throughout but somehow managed to lift his game periodically, at least enough to cling onto a place. But when his name was announced I couldn’t believe it. And neither could most of the judges!
Now I’ve been looking around the internet a bit this morning and I found out something that we here in Australia didn’t know. It seems that in America, rumours have been rife for months that Adam Lambert may be gay! Shock. Horror. Lambert hasn’t confirmed or denied the rumours but the battle lines were drawn.
Suddenly the pieces fell into place. There is no way narrow-minded, bible-thumping, gun-toting, bigoted Americans are going to elect a gay man over a wholesome Christian American Boy even if the gay man is gloriously talented.
I can just see the devout Christians dialing and dialing their fingers to the bone to make sure their boy got over the line even if he was second-rate by comparison to the real star of the show.
As I’m concerned by the religious fanaticism of the Israelis so am I concerned by the religious fanaticism of many Americans. It distorts their thinking and their values and leads them to make wrong decisions.
Adam Lambert suffered from that distortion. But then, so are the Iraqis, the Afghans, the Pakistanis…
And so will the Iranians!

When I moved at the end of Jan. I decided to cut loose from cable, so I get a few local stations & tuned in to American Idol just in tine to hear Lambert’s version of “Mad World” (which I’d never heard before, being hopelessly out of date) and became an instant fan.
I was shocked because although C.A. seems sweet he is so ordinary.
I immediately thought about rumors that the so called phone tallies are bogus, I also heard rumors about A.L. being gay but thought that was probably a +, I also remembered that Rueben Studdert, Clay Aiken contest which was background noise in my life & even though Rueben won it was Clay who was booked on all shows.
Personally I think the show is rigged because I twitter & Adam had all the young girls sewn up, they loved his glittery mascara look. Did you notice what a huge head he has? He was definately the winner, so is American Idol a politically correct rigged contest? From my evidence I say YES.

It wouldn’t be the first time a game/competition on TV was rigged!

David, I’m so embarrassed that you got sucked into this pseudo competition. This is FOX NEWS NETWORK, fair and balanced! They report lies on a daily basis, and pass it off as the truth. It’s entertainment, not news. Adam couldn’t afford to win American Idol. He already had better offers. I’m personally ashamed that I have succumbed to this low level of viewing, I adore my wife, but I do get tired of dealing with the reality of a society that makes heroes out of assholes and can’t get drunk enough to forget that we AMERICAN’S, on our own, have pretty much fucked up this lovely planet and a good portion of it’s inhabitants. Thank you for this opportunity to vent my infinite frustration.

Noooooooooooooo David, tell me it isn’t so! A shirt lifter?
Move over Elton and George there’s new competition.

Kate Bates, thanks for your input. I was disappointed in the outcome because it reflects badly on the American Public.
Northmoon, perhaps the show’s promoters were more interested in popularity rather than a fair outcome?
VR2, why don’t you tell us what you really think?
Phill, I don’t know whether he is or not! I judged him on the basis of what he did on stage not what he does in his bedroom.
Peter, it’s time you moved on, took your small mind with you!

thank you, also VR2
” Thank you for this opportunity to vent my infinite frustration. ”
and I read it, VR, and agree, to a great extend, though I don’t think the competitioners are ‘assholes’.
I followed the latest X-factor and I’ll take the opportunity to mention (the Spanish) Ruth Lorenzo, (my WINNER of this latest contest).
The winner i Xfactor, Alexandra Burke has a great woice and, indeed was a great singer but she didn’t move MY heart…unlike Ruth Lorenzo,, waw, what a singer, she should have won,, but she did not.
I think those kinds of public votings do not weigh what it is about namely, the voice, – but more about the white/black, thick/thin, beauti-/not -ful.. etc , all other things not related to the ability of voice/singing.

I think the Jews and their show business style and ownership, wanted Adam, (who seems very jewish and I would not be surprised if three out of the four are also jewish) and were upset when Kris won. Simon Cowell was so rude and unaccepting of the young polite countryboy from Arkansas (who is also very intelligent and great on the piano and guitar) and I certainly prefer Kris, and was so glad when he won. I would much rather listen to him, and his musicality expresses my own.
I appreciated the gentle Puerto Rican contestant being there for Kris, what with Simon refusing to stand up, and then the Puerto Rican fellow ushering Kris’s wife to be able to comfort and acknowledge him. Kris best sang the theme song at the end and was so strong and gracious in the face of adversity from the nasties. His win give me hope that we can win back our country, can overcome the Jew World Order. So go ahead and kick me. Yea, Kris.

Where I live, Jews are a small minority. Catholics and Xtians Rule the land. Where I live reminded me of David’s response to “Northmoon, perhaps the show’s promoters were more interested in popularity rather than a fair outcome?” Catholics would rather slander a person than talk to them and meet the person they judge. I know this for a fact. I am not even gay , but I feel like I live in ‘the closet” because I am counter-culture. I was raised to question everything!- by the same Jews who seem unable to question themselves. So therefore I cannot relate to alot of what goes on by alot of people and making it a Jew World Order is just straight up racist and doesn’t help the human predicament.

It is so easy for people who have never been gypsies, jewish, homeless or look like you belong in a freak show, because for these people, what they have had to do to survive is different than for people who belong to established society. Bearded women were forced to be side show attractions and gypsies learned to fix random dents in people’s cars. Jews did all the jobs that Xtians were forbidden to do. Fast forward to today, and things aren’t that different, just more evolved. Bearded women live with their lovers and occupy state jobs, gypsies still fix dents in cars, Homeless sucks! and Jews are really good at banking as well as that sordid entertainment business. The world still turns.. rats still panic when the water rises, The Romans killed Jesus, a Jew, and now the Roman Catholics are sinners and they know it. Christ’s brutal death and resurection is what gives them their meaning in life. For me, the living Christ’s words and actions are enough.
Look, I am not oblivious to the evil that is Israeli policy toward the Muslim world, specifically Palstinian autonomy. I just can’t go to that place of making one group evil. What about the evil African Warlords? This is a human problem, that requires a human solution. Also America should stop giving Billions to Israel – and that does give us the right to be critical!!

John LJ, it’s good that you go with your heart and not with your head. Given free rein, our heart will bring us home, where as our head, will often times, lead us far astray. Thank you for your kind and simple approach to incredibly difficult times, for some. We, in the know, will always find our way.

Just wait, soon the second-rate “official” winner will start whining about what a victim he is!
