Catauro, I though the American people voted Cheney and his mouthpiece George W out of office! I thought that Obama was the President now and Biden was the Vice President.
Yet I keep seeing the Prince of Darkness everywhere offering stinging criticism of Obama and ridiculous justification of the darkest period in American politics under his evil hands.
Cheney has no mandate to speak for anyone yet sections of the media are giving him a platform (Murdoch).
It is an insult to every American and a denial of democracy.

Re your AI post……if only those american watching that show and voted via phone, took that much interest in going to the polls and actually voting for something that truly affects their lives.
And it seems no matter what, the media runs in typical fashion, telling those who will listen, about most things to blur what;s important.
As for DC, strange no one could get him to talk while he and gw were in office, and now, people will listen?

Cheney speaks for a lot of Americans, it seems. It suggests to me that the country is deeply split and that, largely, it is still being run by Big Business, the Media and the Israeli Lobby.

I think the Bush/Cheney area was much more similar to FACISM (goverment-big business amalgamation) than democry.
The Facists despise democracy except for when they get the majority in the election. (e.g. US, 2000, Hamas, Gaza).
Cheney is without doubt one of the most savage FACISTS of our time.

David, you are making an important point here. And I can not agree more.
coffee messiah is also right. Cheney seldom talked under the Bush administration.
At that time he was busy either hunting and shooting at his aids or hatching plots to assassin alleged enemies abroad.
Just look at his face carefully. Clearly he hates himself and everyone else. He is not the Prince of Darkness. He does not deserve such an honorable title. In fact he is no more than a despicable chicken.
Give any coward man power and money and he would behave exactly like this man did. Blind power in the hand of a fool turns him into another Nero or Genghis Khan. I guess the right place for Cheney and his likes is prison or at least the mental hospital.

Cheney and his friends need to be arrested for war crimes. Then a Nuremberg Trial, then he’ll be VERY lucky to spend the rest of his life in prison…if there was true justice, he’d end up like his (ex)friend Saddam…one can dream!

David, I love your outstanding site and photographs/pictures (but not necessarily the one above). As for Cheney, I keep hearing him blabbering on and on as though we’re interested in what the war criminal has to say. Is he senile? He must not know that he’s out of office now. I guess people like him think they have special privileges since they were allowed to get away with sooo much. To top it off, he and Bush were put into office by election fraud.

It was pretty certian that the republicans would not disappear quietly after having things their way for so many years.
Cheney seems to be a power hungry madman.
The corporate masters who really run things don’t care if it is a democrat or a republican in office, but a lot of people that are lead around by social issues and fear mongering are eating up what people like Cheney are saying.
He is keeping american divided and unable to get to the important work that needs to be done if we are to have any kind of a safe and sane future.

Jeannie, I completely agree with you. Big corporations have bought both, so there’s not much difference which is in power. There was talk of change with Obama, but his bank bailout shows who really has influence.
The talk shows love to stir up controversy and hatred to distract people from dealing with our real problems. Cheney fits right in – no concept of the common good, as long as he gets his.
