The American Jewish Lobby Is All Powerful!
Friends, just a day or so ago, the IDF dropped some bombs on a tunnel in Gaza and killed two Palestinians. To do this it used American planes and munitions which the U.S. supplies to Israel as part of a 30 billion dollar donation which it makes to the imperialist rogue nation each year!
Now, as far as I know, digging a tunnel is not an illegal activity. If I wanted to, I could go out right now and begin to dig a tunnel and I would break no laws. But then I don’t live next to Israel, thank heavens!
Of course the Israelis would argue that the Palestinians smuggle weapons along these tunnels. Shock! Horror! Well I would argue that the tunnels have been used for many years given the blockade of Gaza. And I would further argue that the recent genocide carried out by the IDF created a situation where 1,300 Palestinians were killed and 13 Israelis (four of them killed by their own forces).
This would suggest to any reasonable, rational person that the smuggling tunnels provide no real threat to Israel’s security at all (it would be different if you could smuggle an aircraft carrier or an F-16 along the tunnels). In fact, given that Israel has the world’s forth strongest army, it is preposterous, ridiculous claim!
Now, in America, a group of sane Americans, ones who don’t support America’s support of Israeli genocide, put up some signs advocating that the U.S. no long arm Israel and financially support its barbaric military aggression.
Then some pro-Israeli lobby groups got all excited and, in the Land of Freedom of Speech, soon the signs were taken down. The image shows the muzzling taking place (a hat-tip to Syd Walker for uncovering this great photo – Syd’s excellent website is shown in my Special Links) .
Given this situation, I would claim that America is a willing accomplice to Israeli genocide. It supplies it with money, arms, and it muzzles any anti-Israeli criticism. Further, its MSM rarely reports the truth about what Israel is really doing in the Middle East (or anything else either).
When is a group of Palestinians going to get their act into gear and sue America for its heavy involvement in Israel’s continuing genocide?
The two men killed in the tunnel could become the launching pad with the picture shown above providing further evidence of American complicity (as if any were needed)!

I’ve digested Charles’s snippets of history (whether they’re factual or not seems essentially irrelevant) and spit them out. What a fine example of faulty logic based upon selective interpretation of history and isolated occurrences – all about the race of people that Charles apparently hates. Do I agree with many of his points? Yes. Do I have a problem with his argument? Even more so, yes.
I detest the israeli government, and every one of the bigoted, racist, apartheid-supporting hateful human beings who support that government. I detest the american government (especially so since i live in the usa) in similar fashion for its criminal conduct throughout this country’s violent, racist, classist, subjugating, murdering history. Religion is the refuge of fools, the fuel of hatred and divisiveness, and a mass exercise in idolatry that victimizes people and the environment, while providing the “spiritual” front that appeases political and economic power.
I consider all human beings who practice exploitation for greed, power, or ideology to be evil, but i never cull out anyone’s ancestry to make my points about evil. Belief systems and those who engage them are another potential red herring that is used as an excuse for the human manifestations of hatred and ignorance – atheists are just as likely to be greedy, hateful bastards as are religious fanatics. I challenge Charles to produce one shred of evidence that evil human traits are the specific genetic or cultural province of jewish people, or that the examples he cites are any more profligately sinister or significant than the myriad egregious devolutions of humanity perpetrated by christians, buddhists, or muslims.
We all know many jews who abhor what Israel is doing (and if you haven’t met any, you need to go to any of several other blogs and websites maintained by the Jewish resistance to racism and hatred, or better yet, go out and meet them personally – they’re likely living in your town or region), and many who even acknowledge that the creation of the jewish state was accomplished through state-sponsored evil practiced primarily at the expense of the palestinians.
Furthermore, judaism is no more responsible for espousing hate and violence and no more a source of individuals who hate others, than, for example, capitalism. Why haven’t nations thrown out the capitalists, or the christians, or the men, for that matter? Disraeli was apparently a racist, and a miserable historian, not to mention one f**ked up individual. And, tell me, of what relevance is marx’s real name?
judaism is being used in the same way as other religions to justify and excuse greed, hate, and violence, and any religion or spiritual belief system that provides philosophical support for crimes against people or other organisms or the rock under our feet is rightfully attacked. But, singling out one group of people, one set of beliefs, as more culpable than others for the world’s ills, is no more enlightened or promising an approach to peace and justice than is bombing civilians – the paradigm of racism on display here just feeds the monster of intolerance and bigotry that runs rampant among humanity, without regard for skin color, ancestry, or belief systems.
I would expect more than knee-jerk racism and distortions of history from this site. People can write what they want, and no doubt i’ll continue to read here and elsewhere plenty of opinions i think are ill-informed or borne from hate, but i will also choose to challenge racism and poor logic. Charles, i suggest you get out the mental floss until you can clear up your misconceptions and selective use of history to support your flawed logic.

Peter, your comment is addressed to me as well as Charles. It contains many generalizations, contradictions, as well as elements of truth. Please note that the word ‘Detest’ is synonymous with hate according to my dictionary!
What is contained in a single comment from one person cannot fairly be expanded to apply to the whole site. I tolerate most points of view as long as they are based upon truth rather than blind belief.
The Jewish people who are working to create Greater Israel and their accomplices are surely the ultimate racists and brutal imperialists and, as such, they should be condemned not out of hate but because that is the truth.

Had there been the minimum justice and reason in this dangerous world, every state would help the Palestinians smuggle all kinds of weapons to fight their fascist occupiers.
The last genocide war on the Gazans has once again unveiled the ugly face of the rulers of the so called Israel.
Of course, the U.S. is an accomplice to all genocide wars of the Zionists against the defenseless Palestinians.

To blame an entire group of people for a crime is wrong. Not all jews are to blame for what Israel is doing though certian ones are clearly guility of war crimes and many guility of supporting them.
Jews have been badly abused though the years and like some abused children when they get big they become the abusers, doing to others what was done to them.
It is hard to live in a country that supports what Israel is doing and to not be able to do anything to change that kind of barbaric behavior.
It must feel much the same way jews who do not support Israeli genocide feel; helpless and angry.

The blame of the troubles of the world of humanity, must be laid squarely upon the nature of Capitalism. Along with the class divisions it spawns. Its in the interest of the ruling elites to encourage religious and racial confusion among the working-class to maintain their Status Quo of power over people. Including their barbaric opportunism within their System of ownership of the means of life for all and exploit the working-class through exploiting money and wage slavery for PROFIT.
Until the working-class recognize that it is in their own interest for humanity to have a peaceful and harmonious future in the interest of ALL humanity. Its necessary to replace World Capitalism with World Socialism’s COMMON OWNERSHIP and democratic control of a production solely for USE NOT for PROFIT economy. To freely provide a sustainable abundance for all humanity. An idealists dream since antiquity. Made possible, practical and necessary now. Otherwise humanity will continue rushing towards extinction one way or another.

I looked up Prussian Jews in the late 1700′s and early 1800′s and they were being walled into ghettos and summarily executed.
To have a designated group of victims takes an abuser. It is some sort of twisted social agreement.
This is where my lack of knowledge of history hinders me; and that is: where did it start? – that Jews were the excluded ones, Gypsies too, easy to blame. Jews were only allowed to do jobs that Xtians were not allowed to do. It was the Xtians that wanted money changers in the Temple -and so Jews were the money changers on Sunday. Easy to become a charachture of an evil ugly person. Jews owned the butchers shops, fur, loaning money, and the list goes on.
Continuing to vilify doesn’t solve the problem, unfortunately.

Grace, vilification, if deserved, usually encourages people to mend their ways. In the case of Israel, it makes no impression no matter how well deserved it is!

What Israel does in Palestine is morally criminal. It is inhumane. Disgusting and evil even. What you said David begins to nail with clarity and that is regarding vilification, “it makes no impression.” This brainwashing of the Israeli people who in their midst support inhumanity. I see them as a cult in the same way the Catholics are a death-cult. They exist for Christ’s death is what gives them their meaning. (For me, the living Christ’s words were enough to know what kind of man he was. In that sense I worship a living reality.) Jews are sold a bill of goods and are physically vulnerable surrounded by enemies. It really is too bad Israel couldn’t have been established in the desert regions of Los Angeles County! However,.. telling them they are wicked people makes no impression or change based on refelecting upon these charges. Perhaps the only way to get through to Israel that they must stop. Now. are Embargoes. Of course, this might intensify their feelings of victimhood and God only knows what that could lead to. What is next, what can the world community do to make Israel Stop!?
Perhaps the answer is in the “world” standing as adults, parents who cannot allow this rogue behavior. Proper parenting would dictate that Israel is not behaving responsibly and must face consequences. Begin removing priveleges. Isolate them, but not vilify. Treating them abusively or as an “other” will only make their behavior worse. They must feel that they are a part of the world as a whole, BUT, if they want the priveleges they have enjoyed they must behave responsibly and nothing else will be tolerated.
